I haven't read many fanfics on this sight either, mostly because I joined after I stopped reading in general, except for a few favorite stories/authors. Glad you like the story. Next chapter will hopefully take about the same amount of time 10-11 days but be a lot longer. Action is always easier to write (hint hint).

Very well written as always. It was a bit harsh but life is. Losing a child like that makes you feel as if your soul has been torn out. I hope you don't have to go through that pain. I also hope that Inuyasha realizes what an idiot he's being by leaving her like this. THey need each other more than ever now.

Yes, I imagine popular opinion is not high on Inuyasha right now, and I don't blame it. We've seen this before from him; when danger strikes, he locks onto physical safety without considering the other emotional and psychological consequences of his actions. Glad you liked it.
