Inuyasha had fought bravely and in the end lost his life. Kagome had been with him when he took his last breath.

A shadow came over her and she suddenly felt warm breath on the back of her neck. She leaned into the solid figure and she managed to smile as a pair of strong arms wrapped around her and Sakura, "you sang beautifully Kagome…Inuyasha would be proud. He would be proud of us to you know."

Kagome smiled, She knew he was right…She laid her head back and she smiled as she let the tears fall…"I love him so much and I will always remember him…"

The figure sighed and he put his head down, "we will all Miss him……I love you Kagome."
