I think that it's really cute that Inuyasha and Kagome get to train their "younger" selves. I can't help but wonder if that will cause them to become even more powerful than their older counterparts or simply help them to develope faster than their older counterparts did.

Author's Response: Well I think the Princess & Yasha have a leg up on their older counterparts as they 'know' what their potentals are, but in the end I think they will turn out to have about the same level of power as Kagome & InuYasha, they just might get to that level faster.

LOL I love the Wizard of Oz reference. Another great chapter and I can't wait to see what you do next. I truly enjoy the way you make fate such a big part of this story, it's very interesting. I also really like the way you give the princess her powers faster because of her upbringing and the reference to how children have been treated throughout history.

I was having so much trouble filling out this chapter and then suddenly I realized that the story had taken a bit of an Oz flavor.  I also decided that it was important to point out that the status of children had really changed and that while Kagome considered herself a child (during the manga & cartoon) everyone else considered her an adult. Anyway, once my current houseguest is gone I will try to get back to regular updates!

Another great chapter. Inuyasha brought up a good point about getting stronger faster than Yasha would because of the differences in their upbringings. It seems that Yasha probably won't develope the same insecuraties that Inuyasha had from being an outcast for a good 200 or so years.  I can't wait to see what else you have in store for our favorite characters and their counter parts.

Author's Response: Sorry I am taking so long to respond to this! I am glad you noticed that there are so many differences between the two Kags and the two InuYashas. Yasha has had a much more secure upbringing than InuYasha, but as a slave he has had to learn to control his emotions in a way InuYasha never had to bother with. On the other hand they both have very strong Inu instincts that have a lot to do with how they act!

Yay, another great chapter. I'm excited to see them on their own without the entrauge, it just seems more natural to me. I also really liked the way you had Inuyasha and Kagome give subtle lessons to their younger counterparts. I also think that this is great practice for Kagome and Inuyasha for when they have their own kids. :)

Author's Response: Thanks! InuYasha did a lot of growing up during the three years Kagome was gone so he's much better with kids (like Sango & Miroku's) than he was during their battle with Naraku. He knows that Yasha had a very different upbringing than him, I don't think he would like the idea of another version of himself being weak or unable to card for a version of Kagome.

No offense to the King but I have a feeling that he'll have a long wait vs a short one.

Author's Response: Well it all depends on how long I can drag this out! Part of me wants to just have them find the stupid relic and get it over with (oh and I have to deal with that stupid crown - what was I thinking!), but as far as I can tell this story has a life of it's own and I just sit here at the computer and try to squeeze it out! I keep trying to hurry the gang along, but they just amble along at their own pace!

OMG, I can't wait for the fight between Inuyasha and Koga, I'm really not a big fan of his, and hope that Inuyasha beats the crap out of him. On a lighter note, another great chapter and I can't wait for the next one. You did a great job with Shippo's comedic relief in this chapter, when things started to get a little tense.



Author's Response: Oh yes, InuYasha and Kouga are eyeing each other like cold fire! I don't hate Kouga personally, but Kagome belongs with InuYasha, so they will fight. Yea, I didn't mention Shippo recently, so I thought it was cute way to bring his character back in. :) I hopefully will update soon, with all the fanart I have, it might be a few days, but I'll get it up soon! Author's Response: Yep, Kagome really didn't know about mating rituals and so she acted to defend both of them. Personally, I don't hate Kouga, and I didn't want him dying, so Kagome was the resulting factor to stop the death match between the two. I have other plans for Kouga, and InuYasha will it explain through her thick skull later. ;) I'll update soon! :)
