After reading a poetry scroll amongst the relics once belonging to Inuyasha's mother, Kagome traps herself and Sesshoumaru in another world, where they must journey through seven, different fairy tales and complete the poem if they wish to return home.

Romance, sadness, drama, excitement...it's all here, in this alternate ending to the Inuyasha manga.
This takes place after the end of the manga…sort of. The thing is, I didn’t much care for the end of the manga. It wasn’t he ending I had hoped it would be. So, as I writer and an Inuyasha fan, I have decided to take matters into my own hands. This is my own alternate ending. It begins immediately after Naraku is defeated.
The actual ending of the manga wasn't what I thought it should be. It was lacking in emotion, completeness, and too many words were left unsaid. Not to mention too many things left undone. This alternative ending hopes to do for me, and others, what the original did not.
I really loved this fic! I had my doubts about it at first. And some times I had a hard time continuing, but it was well worth it. A wonderful idea fro a more complete ending!!
The coffee was hot. Steaming hot as I poured it into his cup. It warmed my hands through the pristine white china. I set it down on his tray, smelling it and closing my eyes. His lips would touch the crisp edge of this cup. The coffee would pour into his mouth and warm it. He would bite into the scone that I have prepared for him with love, care, and extra everything. I set this one aside from the rest. He has been coming to my little café every Saturday and Sunday since it opened. He sits in the same place, drinks the same coffee, eats the same scones. He is my beautiful constant, and one day, I will build up the courage I need to go over there and talk to him and stop loving him from afar.
I just found and read this whole story last night. It is great! So interesting and with lots of twists and turns. I would really like to continue reading it on one of your other sites. Could I get a password? Thanks for such a great story!

This story was great! And I have been thinking about what you said about a title for the sequel. If you are still planning on writing it, I have an idea. How about something to the effect of "Filling the Void" or "To Fill the Void" Just my thoughts!

Wow. Never imagined Sesshomaru feeling guilt. An interesting chapter, hearing about his life for 500 years. I love this story, though I was skeptical at first. Now I can't wait to see how it plays out!

Aww. :sigh: That was nice and lifting. I am not of Native American decent, but my father used to watch sweat ceremonies where he worked. He always said they were so enlightening. I can understand a bit more from your description. Thanks for sharing it. Now I hope Kagome can move forward, doing the right thing.

Yes, sweat ceremonies are wonderful. If you wish to participate in one, you can. I know a lot of reservations will actually hold sweats so that the public can come and enjoy.
