Author's Response: I'll update soon, I swear. I'm at a bit of a tough spot in the story at the moment, but I'm 'hitting the story board' so to speak, and trying to work it all out. The next chapter should be up in the next couple of days.

Only Kagome would show empathy to a cold blooded killer like that. I was surpirsed that that was the way in which his 'secret" was revealed, though it does make sense to test the demon. Nice work, hun. :)

That's not his secret. You already knew about that secret...Kagome didn't, but Inuyasha just decided to tell her this way. That incident was not enough to change him as much as he's changed. C'mon? Do you really think I'd be THAT anticlimatic? lol

Ohhh...this is getting good! :) Can't wait for chapter 9 to see what happend to InuYasha in the last three years! :)

I'm glad you like it! :-) While I will go into Inuyasha's past, I don't think it will be quite so soon. A few more events have to unfold first to get the full effect of it. I'll give you a hint though (an obvious hint...lol): for Inuyasha, the past three years have not been good.

Author's Response: That depends on if Kagome is willing to continue to try and break through it. And if she is, she has to be slow. Doing something too rash may drive him even farther away...
