Chapter 1

The Break

One day deep in the Inuyasha forest at the sacred tree, Kikyo was watching Inuyasha and Kagome argue. Kagome yelled, “You leave Kouga alone, he said he loves me, but I have no feeling like that towards him; end of story, I’m leaving.” “But you just came back,” Inuyasha yelled. “Sit boy!” Kagome said. Crash! Inuyasha fell face first into his good friend the dirt. At that Kagome left and Shippo said, “Is it just me, or does it seem like she…you know…” “Yeah, but he is never going to apologize,” Sango said. As Inuyasha pried himself off the dirt, he said, “What are you all talking about?” “We’re talking about you and Kagome,” Shippo said. Thud! Inuyasha’s fist collided with Shippo’s head. “Inuyasha, if you’re not careful, you are going to find that Kagome is going to leave for good. Just one more problem will do it too,” Sango said. Inuyasha said, “How would you know?” He then headed into the forest. “Come on, let’s go back to the village,” Miroku said. Kirara, Shippo, Miroku, and Sango left, and headed to Kaede’s house, after picking up Kagome’s backpack that she had left behind.
Meanwhile, Kagome had found a large rock, and sat down; she buried her face in her hands, and started crying. Just then a large worm came rushing towards her, but she didn’t notice it. She picked up her head, and saw it; the worm was almost directly on her. She was about to be eaten, when a whip of light killed the worm. Kagome stood up, blinked, and said, “Why is he here?” “I suppose it is because he is looking for Naraku,” Rin said, who was standing next to Kagome. Kagome looked at her, and sat down. Jaken and Sesshomaru were watching, and Sesshomaru said, “Rin, you and Jaken go catch some fish.” “Yes my Lord,” Rin said, taking Jaken to a river nearby. Kagome wiped the tears from her eyes, and Sesshomaru sat down next to her.
About an hour later, Kagome returned, and went to Kaede’s house. Kagome asked, “Where’s Inuyasha?” “He went inside the forest after you left,” Shippo said. Kagome then headed out the door, and went into the forest. Sango said, “I wonder what Inuyasha has been doing all this time.” “I’ve got a pretty good idea. Whenever he takes this long, it means Kikyo is around,” Miroku said. Miroku got up and brought some fish to Sango, and sat down beside her. Shippo looked at them and said, “You know ever since you two came back from Mushi’s you’ve been acting awfully strange, and why has Sango had a change in scent?” “You noticed that eh,” Miroku said, grinning. Sango, who was eating, stopped laughed and said, “We’re going to be parents.” Shippo blinked, “Uh… Uh…” Just then Kagome burst through and said, “Shippo, we’re leaving, pack the stuff.” Kagome turned to Sango and Miroku, and gave them the box of bandages. Shippo packed everything else for Kagome, along with his stuff. Kagome then picked up the backpack, and she and Shippo left.
Once Kagome grabbed her bike from outside, Shippo asked, “So where are we going?” “We’re going to join a group of three,” Kagome said. As the two of them left Inuyasha returned to Kaede’s house. “Where’s Kagome?” Inuyasha asked. Miroku said, “She went west; I think she’s leaving us.” Inuyasha stepped back and said, “I wonder why she’s going to Kouga?” “Is it possible that she got fed up with you and Kikyo seeing each other behind her back, and just decided to leave?” Miroku said.
Meanwhile, Kagome had met up with Sesshomaru, Jaken, and Rin, and Shippo asked, “So were joining them?” “Got a problem with it? It’s either you come with me or you come with Inuyasha,” Kagome said. “No,” Shippo said, deciding not to go with Inuyasha. “Sesshomaru, you said that if I ever change my mind, I could join you,” Kagome said. Sesshomaru nodded and said, “Then follow.” The five of them followed Sesshomaru, including Ah-Un whom Rin was riding on.

Chapter 2

The Meeting of

Lovers

It has been three months since the break, and Koga shows up at Kaede’s village. Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku had just shown up, at the village when Kouga walked in. “Where’s Kagome and she had better not be kidnapped,” Kouga said. “How should I know, I haven’t seen her in three months. Wait, isn’t she with you?” Inuyasha steamed. “What do you mean she’s not with me, I thought you were watching out for her,” Kouga said. “Sounds like she dumped both of us,” Inuyasha said. “W… Wh… What! Oh man, if she dumped you, and didn’t go to me, then who did she go to?” Kouga asked. Miroku asked, “Could it be Akitoki?” “Somebody looking for me?” Akitoki asked coming through the doorway, quickly. “If you are Akitoki, then do you know where Kagome is?” Koga asked. “Kagome, oh her, uh no, what happened?” Hojo asked. Everyone got quiet, and Kaede said, “Akitoki come and sit down.” Miroku explained the situation, after Hojo sat down. “I should have known,” Hojo said. “What do you mean?” Sango asked. “I saw her 3 months ago and was about to go see what was wrong, when a worm almost attacked her, but was killed by a whip of light, which seemed to be protecting a young girl,” Hojo said. “Did you happen to see who this whip of light belonged to?” Inuyasha asked, standing up, he had been sitting down since Hojo sat down. “No, I left after the whip of light killed the worm,” Hojo said. “So you just sat there and watched?” Kouga yelled. “Not long after I was sitting there, a brown creature, with two heads attacked me, so I had to leave,” Hojo said. Inuyasha got up, and said, “Why didn’t you tell us 3 months ago?” “Something wrong?” Hojo asked. “Just drop it,” Inuyasha said storming out. Kouga looked at Inuyasha, as he left and said, “Who could have that creature have been?”

Chapter 3

The Tooth

“I wonder why Inuyasha was so upset,” Kaede said. “I can’t imagine,” Koga said. “Anyway, what brings you to our neck of the woods, Hojo?” Miroku asked. Hojo took out a tooth the size of a barrel which he had on his back, covered with a sheet of cloth. “A priest that was dead came and told my family that this will destroy half of the heart that belongs to an evil demon called Naraku,” Akitoki Hojo said. “Wait, you said it was a dead priest?” Miroku asked. “Yes,” Hojo said. “Why would Kagura openly betray Naraku?” Sango asked. Kirara mewed. All of a sudden, a large frog came hopping into the village and Inuyasha saw it. Inuyasha hopped out of the tree he was in, and said, “I could use a good fight.” He then pulled out his sword, and it transformed. The frog said, “Hand me the tooth; hand it over.” “I don’t know what you are going on about, but you have the same scent as Naraku, so don’t expect me to go easy on you,” Inuyasha yelled. “What? Well we’ll see,” the frog said. The frog headed towards Inuyasha, who simply knocked it away, breaking the barrier with the red Tetsaiga. The frog said, “Indeed you are strong, but not strong enough,” the frog sent a ball of energy out, and Inuyasha yelled, “You’re going down! Backlash Wave!” As the Backlash Wave appeared, and was thrust into the frog, destroying the frog. “Wow that was weird,” Sango said. “Naraku sent it to get a tooth,” Inuyasha said, walking over. “All that for this?” Hojo asked, holding the tooth. “What is that anyway,” Inuyasha asked. “Supposedly half of Naraku’s heart,” Sango said. “I couldn’t ask for better luck,” Inuyasha said. “Hojo, set the tooth on the ground,” Miroku said. Hojo did as he was told and stepped away. Inuyasha then said, “Here goes,” after transforming the sword to red, but was thrust back by the barrier. Just then, Kikyo showed up, and Inuyasha got up turned around, and Kikyo said, “Inuyasha, move.” She drew her arrow, aiming at the tooth. Inuyasha got up and everyone got out of the way, including Inuyasha. As the barrier broke from the arrow, Kikyo left. Inuyasha said, “Well let’s try this again.” He then turned the Tetsaiga red again, and split the tooth right down the center.
Meanwhile, miles away Naraku yelled, “Kagura.” Kagura walked slowly into the room. “Tell me, where is the tooth?” Naraku asked. “I don’t know, and frankly I don’t care,” Kagura said, biting back tears. “What has gotten into you? Lately you have been moping around like you’re dead,” Naraku said. At that Kagura ran from the room, and locked herself in another room. “What has gotten into her, she’s been like this for the last three months,” Naraku said.

Chapter 4

The Beginning

Of Naraku’s Plot

It has been 5 years since Kagome left and Sango and Miroku have a daughter named Sanku, and she is old enough to fight demons, and is getting better all the time. “So who is this Naraku that left me and father the wind tunnel?” Sanku asked her mother. “A despicable demon, who uses traps like a spider to bring down enemies, but I’m sure you will see him soon enough,” Sango said.
Meanwhile, miles away, Kikyo was coming upon Naraku, and heard that he was planning on making a deal with Sesshomaru, and she quietly left. After Kikyo left, Naraku, who was talking to Kanna, turned to Kagura, and said, “What are you looking at? Get going!” Kagura turned and left; Naraku watched her leave, and shook his head from side to side, “What is wrong with her?” Naraku asked. Kanna, who was standing by Naraku, said, “She has been acting like this since Kagome joined Sesshomaru.” “Do you think she will stop moping around, anytime soon? We need her for battle,” Naraku asked. Kanna said nothing, but Naraku could see that she didn’t know.
Meanwhile, Kikyo appeared before Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Sanku, Kirara, and Kaede, and Inuyasha said, “Why do you come before us?” “I simply came to tell you Naraku is going to try and kill you using your brother.” Kikyo said. “In what direction are they headed?” Miroku asked. “West, is what I heard,” Kikyo said. At that she flew away, using the soul collectors.

Chapter 5

Naraku

Destroyed

About 30 miles South of Kaede’s village, Ayame’s grandfather’s servant, had found Kouga, and informed him on the whereabouts of Naraku, and told him what Kikyo had told him on his trip from the mountains. Koga said, standing up, “Alright, then lets go, oh and Chinlan, make sure to tell Ayame to take good care of Koame, because I don’t know if I’ll be around after Naraku is dealt with.” “Of course,” the servant said. At that the two of them split and Ginta, Hakkaku, and the wolves followed Kouga.
Two days later, Naraku had appeared before Sesshomaru, and after the request Sesshomaru said, “You expect me to join you, and kill Inuyasha? I have no need for it anymore.” “Wow, he has changed,” Kagome said who was with Rin, Shippo, and Jaken, behind a rock. “I wouldn’t say that too loud girl,” Jaken said. All of a sudden, Kagome looked down. “Uh, Kagome,” Shippo said, “Something wrong?” Kagome looked at Shippo and said, “No, Shippo, everything is fine.” Shippo looked at her strangely but decided not to say anything more. Naraku said, “Sesshomaru, I will grant you the wish to see your father alive again, and you can then fight him if you wish.” “Nothing you can say can make me do anything for you,” Sesshomaru said. Naraku looked at him in disbelief, and was about to say something, when Kagura showed up. “Inuyasha’s and Kouga’s teams are an hour away,” Kagura said. “What?!” Naraku yelled.
Kikyo stood in Naraku’s way of leaving, and Naraku said, “Kikyo, you dare get in my way?” Kikyo stood there, and got an arrow out, “You are not going to escape this time,” Kikyo said. Naraku looked to the side, and Sesshomaru had drawn Tokijin, and Kagura had her fan out, preparing to attack.
An hour later, Inuyasha’s team and Kouga’s team had arrived, and Inuyasha said, “Kagome?” “Don’t tell me she has been accompanying your brother,” Kouga said. “And just what are you doing here,” Inuyasha said. “Isn’t it obvious, I came here to waste Naraku, before heading up to the mountains,” Kouga said. “I don’t get it,” Miroku said. “Get what?” Kouga asked. “I don’t get why you aren’t after Kagome,” Miroku said. “If I make it out alive, Koame and Ayame will be waiting,” Kouga said.
After Kouga explained that Koame was his child, the battle began, which lasted for two hours with everyone attacking at once, and Shippo was protecting Kagome. After the two hours were up, Sesshomaru put up Tokijin, and took out Tensaiga. “Behold, Dragon Strike,” Sesshomaru said. At that, Naraku was killed along with the rest of his heart.

Chapter 6

So be the end

After the battle, Kikyo collapsed, and Inuyasha ran to her. “Thank you, Inuyasha you have saved my soul,” Kikyo said wearily, and then the rest of the soul returned to Kagome. Inuyasha got up, and turned to Kagome and said, “Can we put everything behind us?” “Yes, but I can no longer stay with you,” Kagome said. “What do you mean?” Inuyasha asked. “Well…” Kagome said.
It has been 6 years since Naraku’s destruction, and Koame, Koga, and Ayame, have come to see Sesshomaru, Kagome, Shippo, Rin, Jaken, and the three half-demons, who are 5 years of age, Shanaru, Kagaru, and Sessaru. Koame is now 9 yrs of age, and looks like her mom, with Koga’s teal eyes. Inuyasha on the other hand, has met another girl who was the daughter of a monk called, Shonsho, and the girl’s name is Shennog. They are going to have a marriage and a child in 20 years time, and the child’s name is Shenyasha.
