Later, after the demons were killed, young Kaede let the girl into her house.  “So, ye name’s Kagashe?”  Young Kaede asked.  “Yes,” the girl said.  “So, why did ye come here?”  Young Kaede asked.  “It wasn’t my idea actually.  I was pushed into the well,” Kagashe said, “I’m still a little confused, as to how I passed through to this time though.”  Just then a fifteen year old priest from another village came through the door, and moved the straw flap.  “Kaede?” the priest said.  “Yes?”  Young Kaede said.  “We just heard about your sister yesterday,” the priest said, “My name is Kenyo.”  Kagashe, who was sitting on the floor staring at Kenyo, couldn’t help but notice that Kenyo couldn’t keep his eyes off of her.

It has been twenty years since Kagashe came to the Feudal era, and Kaede, who is now thirty, has learned to shoot arrows better, thanks to Kagashe.  Kenyo has decided to move to Kaede’s village.  Naraku, who is still in hiding, almost invisible, who has already caused Miroku’s grandfather’s death, is now setting his sights back at the village, little knowing what mistake he was about to make.

Chapter 3 Naraku’s Attack 

As Kagashe, Kenyo, and Kaede were having lunch, a yell was heard outside the hut they were in, and Kagashe grabbed her Tetsaiga, and went outside.  When Kagashe got outside, a Hoard of demons was attacking, and she yelled, “Hey if you’re going to attack someone attack me, but leave these people alone.”  The demons stopped, and one said, “You must be that future girl, who Naraku wants killed.”  “I don’t know why Naraku wants me dead, but I won’t let you destroy the village,” Kagashe said, pulling out the sword, she had recently been given, by her father.  “Naraku is afraid of your knowledge, so he wants you to die,” another demon said.  Kagashe had a threatening look on her face, and all of a sudden, the Tetsaiga began to pulse.  Kagashe look-ed at it, and said, “Bingo!  Now to kill…” Kagashe blinked and the demons grouped up, and headed towards Kagashe.  “Humph!  It’s their funeral.”  At that she released the wind scar, killing all the demons.  After Kagashe killed the demons, she noticed the Saimyosho leaving, but they were too high in the sky for her to kill.  Just then Kaede said, “How did you do that?”  “It’s the basic attack of Tetsaiga,” Kagashe said, “Anyways; do you think you can protect the village on your own now?”  “Aye, no problem,” Kaede said.  “Good, because I’m going to have to leave,” Kagashe said.  “But, how come?”  Kenyo asked, coming outside.  “You saw and heard what those demons said,” Kagashe said, “If I stay I’ll be putting the whole village in danger of more attacks.”  “Wait, I’ll come with you,” Kenyo said.  Kagashe nodded, and an hour later, the two left, heading north.  

Chapter 4 Warning for the Demon Slayers 

It has been a few days since Kagashe and Kenyo left the village, and Kagashe stopped when she saw some mountains.  “What is it?”  Kenyo asked.  “The mountains, I’ve heard that the demon slayers village is in the mountains.  I wonder if this is it.”  Kagashe said.  All of a sudden a giant ogre demon rose up.  “Kenyo, get back!  This…uh…creature must be after you, I’ll take care of it,” Kagashe said, pulling out the Tetsaiga.  Just as she was about to see the Wind Scar again, a big yellow and black cat showed up and started attacking the creature.  Kagashe blinked, and said, “Then again maybe I’ll let Kirara take it.”  Kagashe put up her sword.  “Who?” Kenyo asked.  “The cat,” Kagashe said.  Kirara, who had now killed the ogre, walked up to Kagashe and Kenyo, and Kagashe said, “Kirara, we mean no harm!”  “How did you know her name?”  A man asked.  Kagashe turned her head, and saw some demon slayers, and said, “Her future companion will meet my parents while trying to find Naraku.”  “Naraku?”  The man with the boomerang said.  “He is a demon that masquerades as a human, a shape-shifter, if you’d like to call him that,” Kagashe said.  Kirara turned into her kitten form, and jumped onto Kagashe’s shoulder.  “Why don’t the two of you come with us to the village,” The man said.  Kagashe and Kenyo looked at each other and followed the demon slayers.  Once at the village, the man led them into his house, and said, “Can you tell me about this Naraku?” “Well, he delights in messing with people’s feelings and setting traps to bring down his enemies.  He’ll also never sully his own hands, we had to leave the village we were at, so he wouldn’t attack there to begin with.  Also, he will try anything to get what he wants,” Kagashe said.  “So, where do we come in?” The man asked.  “Do you remember the sacred jewel?” Kagashe asked.  “Yes, I believe it was given to a strong priestess,” the man said.  “Yes, Naraku killed her, and caused my father to be sealed to a tree,” Kagashe said, “But as far as yours, a future generation will almost be wiped out, because of Naraku.”  “What? How?” the man asked.  “Most of the strongest villagers were summoned to a castle, Naraku’s castle, to be specific.”  Kagashe said.  “So, Naraku attacked the villagers while everyone was at his castle?”  The man asked.  “It’s like I said, he never sullies his own hand.  A giant spider was attacking the castle, and he convinced a hoard of demons to attack the villagers,” Kagashe said.  “So, how many survived?”  The man asked.  “Well, it depends on how you look at it.  A girl, Kirara’s companion, declared war against Naraku, the other was killed, but was brought back to life, with the Jewel Shard, which Naraku revived him with,” Kagashe explained.  “Well, I’ll keep a look out for this demon, and if I run across him, we’ll kill him. Anyways, would you two like to stay the night?  We’ll make sure Naraku, and any other demons don’t attack.”  The man said.  Kagashe looked at him, and said, “We could use a night under a roof.  So, yes, thank you.” 

Later that night, Kenyo asked, “Are you sure about this?”  “Yes, the man we were talking to is Sango’s father.”  Kagashe said.  “Oh, I see,” Kenyo said.  “Well, we best get some sleep, we don’t know when we’ll get another piece of luck.”  At that Kenyo fell asleep, and Kagashe smiled, and went to sleep in the corner.

Chapter 5 The Death Omen 

When morning arrived, Kagashe and Kenyo went outside, and upon noticing the commotion outside, Kagashe asked, “What’s going on?”  “A free fortune teller,” Sango’s father said.  “Fortune teller?  My father and Kikyo had their fortunes told months before Onigumo became Naraku,” Kagashe said.  “Do you want to have your fortune read?”  Kenyo asked.   “I don’t see why not,” Kagashe said. 

An hour later, the old woman asked, “What do you see in the cup?”  “A spider,” Kagashe said, with a worried look on her face.  “Yeah, mine too,” Kenyo said.  “Hand it here,” the woman said.  When the woman looked into the cups, she shrieked and dropped them.  A younger woman came by and asked, “Madam, are you alright?”  The woman just sat there, with a look of fear on her face.  “Madam?  Madam?” The woman asked.  The old woman jumped, when the villager put her hand on her shoulder.  “Are you okay?”  The villager asked.  “Sorry, yeah,” the old woman said.  “So what is it?” Kenyo asked.  “Kenyo, enough! It’s the serpent, right?”  Kagashe asked.  The old woman didn’t say anything. “Your face tells it all,” Kagashe said, “Kenyo, let’s go, I don’t want to be the cause of anyone’s death.”  Kenyo asked, “Kagashe, what’s wrong?”  “Look my father and Kikyo both had that same omen, and that was before Kikyo sealed him,” Kagashe said.  “Oh, I see.  Well, we’d best go.”  Kenyo said.  “If we’ve got that omen, well, let’s just say I don’t like the looks of it,” Kagashe said.  “Just what kind of omen is that?” Kenyo asked, after they said goodbye to the villagers, and were a long way down the road.  “It’s an omen of death,” Kagashe said.  

Chapter 6

Repeated History

It has been five years since Kagashe and Kenyo were at the demon slayers village, and Kagashe and Kenyo have gone into a forest. “So, I wonder why that old man gave us the crystal?” Kagashe asked. “Yeah, he said that it was exact opposite of the Sacred Jewel’s power,” Kenyo said, holding the diamond.

* * * *

“So, they have it,” Naraku said to the Saimyosho, miles away from the village. “I haven’t used this technique in a while, at least twenty-five years.”

Meanwhile, at the village, Kenyo said, “Meet me at the hill tonight at sunset.’ Kagashe nodded and went towards a river, and Kenyo went into the head-man’s house.

At sunset, Kagashe was waiting at the hill, and Kenyo was fifteen minutes late. “Something’s going on,” Kagashe said, thinking out loud. “He’s never more than two minutes late.” Kagashe put her hand down, and an arrow narrowly missed her hand. She looked up, and immediately jumped up. “Kenyo?” Kagashe said, “But…but why?” “Take this chance to leave,” Kenyo said, “As if I’d let a demon live.” Kagashe somehow escaped the arrows that Kenyo shot at her next, and found the crystal in the road of the village. The crystal had blood around it, and believing that Kenyo had just killed another demon, and knowing she was farther than the Ox-Tiger, Kagashe ran north into a forest.

A demon got in Kagashe’s way, and Kagashe pulled the Tetsaiga out, and somehow summoned up the Backlash Wave, destroying the demon. After destroying the demon, and after putting the Tetsaiga up, Kagashe jumped off the cliff expecting to land on the other side, little knowing that a sacred tree was located on the other side. As she was jumping, Kenyo, who now had a bloody shoulder, shot an arrow at Kagashe, pinning her to the tree, and making Kagashe drop the crystal. As she was going under the spell, Kagashe said, “Naraku, if I get loose I’ll kill…you.” After she went under the spell, bird’s left the trees.

Chapter 7

Kagashe’s Brother’s

Entrance

It has been twenty-five years since Kagashe was sealed, and Kenyo was killed by an injury that very day. Inuyasha and Kagome were in the middle of a fight, after their run-in with Yura of the Hair, when Kaede walked up to them. At the well, a young ten year old boy, climbed out. The boy had on a green kimono, and had black hair, with dog-like ears, with golden eyes. One of the villagers noticed him and said, “Halt!” “Oh, sorry,” the boy said slightly startled, “I’m simply looking for my sister.” The man put up his weapon, and said, “Come to the village.” The boy nodded, and followed.

Once at the village, he was escorted to Lady Kaede’s house to wait for her. Not long after he sat down, Lady Kaede came in. “Who are ye?” Kaede asked. “My name is Inu,” the boy said. “We found him at the well,” the man said. “Ye are free to leave, I’m sure ye have other things to do,” Lady Kaede told the man. “Yes, of course,” the man said, before leaving. “Inu, so why did ye come here?” Kaede asked. “I’m looking for my sister, who came here fifty years ago,” Inu said. “Oh, I see, was her name Kagashe, by any chance?” Lady Kaede asked. “Uh… yes, did you know her?” Inu asked. “She came here fifty years ago, but soon had to leave, because of a demon that goes by the name Naraku,” Lady Kaede said. “Did you s… say Naraku?” Inu stuttered. “Yes, is that name of some significance?” Kaede asked. “He was my parent’s worst enemy,” Inu said, “He also had few allies, because he betrayed them all.” “I see,” Lady Kaede said. “Well according to mom, Kagashe left twenty-five years ago, and never returned. Father noticed that she was very quiet last time, but could not get her to say why. He said that she had a look of sheer terror on her face. When some fortune teller knocked on the door, she bolted out the door within a blink of an eye,” Inu said. “I do know that she and Kenyo ran into a fortune teller on their way north, or at least that’s what Kenyo said twenty-five years ago. That was also the last time I saw either of them,” Kaede said. “Who is Kenyo, and what sign were Kagashe and this person given?” Inu asked. “Kenyo was a boy that came from another village, and the sign was a serpent with a spider on its back, for both of them,” Kaede said. When Inu heard what Kaede said his face went white. “That’s the same omen, that father had, before he was sealed by Kikyo,” Inu said, “No wonder she left when that fortune teller came.” “Oh I remember that day, but I don’t recall what omen it was that they got,” Kaede said.

As it got later, a young boy, with a purple and red outfit on was falling from the sky, and landed in Kagashe’s tree; when the boy landed, Kagashe woke up and looked at him.

Chapter 8

Released

The boy, with dark brown hair and blue eyes looked at Kagashe, who was looking at him and asked, “You’re actually alive?” “Spare me the jokes, and release me, so I can kill Naraku, Kenyo,” Kagashe said. “What?! My name is Kagon, not Kenyo, whoever Kenyo is. And don’t order me around,” Kagon said. Kagon got off the tree branch, he had landed on and climbed down. “Humph! My mistake,” Kagashe said, realizing Kagon did not have the same scent as Kenyo. “Err… Fine, I’ll free you, but when I do tell me who this Naraku is,” Kagon said. Kagashe nodded and Kagon grabbed the arrow; the arrow vanished, and Kagashe was unsealed. “Naraku is nothing more than a deceptive demon, Kagashe said.

Hours later, Kagon and Kagashe entered the village; when the villagers saw her, they ran. The headman came out, and said, “I don’t know where the boy came from, but what idiot would release that evil creature?” “Listen here, there is a spider demon, that’s more evil than any demon, he must have disguised himself as me in one area, and Kenyo in another, so we would think we deceived each other,” Kagashe said, “My father was put into the same exact trap.” “It now makes sense, but how do you know this?” the headman asked. “I don’t come from this time,” Kagashe said. “I see,” the headman said, “Please stay the night, and find this demon tomorrow.” Back at Kaede’s village, Inu was at the well, and Inuyasha, Kagome, Myoga, and Kaede were talking. While they were in deep talk, Inu jumped in the well to take him back home.

Chapter 8

Released

Chapter 9

Return to the Demon Slayers Village

The next morning as Kagashe was leaving, Kagon said, “Wait, can I join you?” “Are you sure you’ll survive?” Kagashe asked. “Yeah, sure!” Kagon said. “Fine, just don’t get killed,” Kagashe said. The two of them then left.

Days later, Kagashe and Kagon came upon the demon slayers village, yet again. As they approached the door, it opened, and spears were aimed at Kagashe. Kirara walked forward, and stopped when she saw Kagashe. “Who is she?” a man asked. “Yeah, Kirara seems to know her,” another said. Just then the lord, Sango’s and Kohaku’s father, came out, and said, “Kagashe, right?” Please come inside.” The guards to the village withdrew their weapons, and Kagashe and Kagon followed the lord. Kohaku was training in the back of the lord’s house, and Kirara untransformed into her kitten form, to go watch. “So, has there been any word on this demon?” The lord asked. “I…I don’t really know, I mean I haven’t heard anything. I just got freed from being under a spell a couple of days ago, so I don’t really know anything as of yet,” Kagashe said. “Oh, I see!” The lord said. “I’ll tell you one thing though, if Naraku ever comes near me, then he’ll wish he was never born,” Kagashe said. “It sounds like you’re really ticked off at him,” the lord said. “Agitated would be the word. He probably caused Kenyo’s death, and then Kenyo sealed me to a tree north of here. So yeah, I guess I am, but I am angrier than normal because he did the same thing to my father,” Kagashe said, “Anyways, where’s Sango?” “Oh she’s out slaying demons,” the Lord said. “Oh, well I guess I’ll meet her someday,” Kagashe said. “Yes, well my only concern is she won’t ever find someone to be with,” the Lord said, “Or at least at the moment.” “Oh, don’t worry about that, she’ll find someone,” Kagashe said, “A bit of a pervert, but with some good qualities. Or at least that’s what I hear.” “Who is this anyway, you said that Kenyo died,” the Lord asked, with a relaxed look on his face. “Oh, this is Kagon, he was the one that broke the seal,” Kagashe said. “Oh, and before you leave, could you take the jewel shards that we have collected to your mom? You did say she was a priestess, last time you were here, didn’t you?” the Lord asked. “Yes of course. If shards are being found then she has to be somewhere in this world,” Kagashe said. The Lord gave Kagashe ten shards, and then the three of them went to watch Kohaku.

Chapter 10

Returning to

The Village

It has been several days since Kagashe and Kagon left the demon slayer’s village, and Kagon asked, “So, where are we headed? Do you even know where Naraku is?” “No, but before that is started, I must get back home, though I don’t know how I’m going to explain any of this to my parents. I don’t even know how long I’ve been out of commission for, either,” Kagashe said.

Just then Kaede’s village came into sight, and Kagashe stopped. Kagon looked at Kagashe, and asked, “What is it?” “I’m home, or at least I will be, once I enter the well,” Kagashe said. The two of them headed towards the village.

Once at the edge of the village, some villagers spotted them, and drew bows and arrows. “I thought you said that you came from here,” Kagon said. “I did, it’s just that I must’ve been out longer than I thought,” Kagashe said.

“Huh?” A man said, “Tell us you’re name, demon.” “It’s Kagashe Higurashi,” Kagashe said. The man lowered his weapon, and said, “Let them in. She helped Lady Kaede protect this village from demons years ago.” Everyone did as they were told and went back to their crops. The man they had just talked to walked with them, and Kagashe asked, “When was it that Kaede last saw me?” “About twenty-five years,” the man said. “I see, that means that my father has been released,” Kagashe said.

All of a sudden, a series of “sit” commands were heard coming from the direction of the bone eaters well; followed by a loud thud. The three of them stopped, and the man said, “I wonder what he did this time?” “That didn’t sound like just him falling. It sounded like a large rock fell too,” Kagashe said.

As they stood there, Shippo, who was in Kaede’s hut, came out, and said, “I told him to let her go.” Kagashe turned to Kagon, and said, “Go with this man to Kaede’s, I have a pretty good idea as to exactly which day this is.” Kagon nodded, and followed the man to the hut, and Kagashe headed to the well.

Once at the well, Kagashe stopped when she saw the large rock on top of Inuyasha. She grabbed the rock and put it somewhere else. “Just who are you?” Inuyasha yelled, trying to get up, but not making it very far. “Let’s get to Kaede’s,” Kagashe said, ignoring the question, and helping him up.

As they headed to Kaede’s, Inuyasha asked, “Have we met before?” “Last time, you were under the spell,” Kagashe said. Inuyasha was leaning on Kagashe and once at Kaede’s, he slid to the floor, and Kagashe said, “Do us all a favor, and don’t let Kagome kill you.”

Kaede said, “Kagashe, I think ye should know that somebody claiming to be ye brother came here looking for ye days ago.” “Really, how old was he, what did he look like, and what was his name?” Kagashe asked. After Kaede told Kagashe what happened, Kagashe said, “If what you say is true, then he’ll have to join me and Kagon to lure that demon away from the village.” “I see, ye are going home? Well, good luck,” Kaede said. Kagashe nodded, and said, “Kagon, I’ll be back.” At that, Kagashe left and headed towards the well.

Chapter 11

The Start

of the

Team

Once on the other side of the well, Kagashe walked up the steps and looked at the well, when she came to the door. Kagashe turned to the door and opened it. A young boy was outside that looked similar to Souta when he was younger; the boy was playing with a soccer ball, and was being chased by Buyo. The boy stopped and turned. “Uh… are… are you Kagashe?” the boy asked. “Yes, I am,” Kagashe said. “I’m Soto, Souta’s son,” the boy said. “Well that makes sense as to why Buyo is following you,” Kagashe said. Kagashe looked at the house, and said, “I guess I better get over there, nice to meet you, even if it was for a second.” Kagashe closed the door, and headed towards the house; inside, Inu stood in the doorway to the kitchen, when he turned his head towards the front door. Hitomi, who now had her hair in a long ponytail looked at Inu, and asked, “Inu, something wrong?” “Somebody’s here, and coming closer,” Inu said. “Oh, it’s probably just Soto,” Hitome said. “No, its not. I’d recognize Soto; I know he’s out there, but there’s someone else out there. Someone with quite a few jewel shards,” Inu said. “Inu, are you sure?” an older Kagome asked. “I believe so,” Inuyasha said, “its Kagashe.” Kagome turned, and said, “I wonder where she came up with so many shards? I only gave her one.” “Who cares, what I want to know, is why she didn’t tell us about that Kenyo,” Inuyasha said. Kagome said, “Just let her explain, I’m sure there was a reason.” After Kagashe walked in, she turned to look at her family who were standing in the doorway. “I take it you’re my brother, Inu?” Kagashe asked. Inu nodded. Inuyasha looked at her, and upon noticing the tear in her shirt, asked, “Kagashe, was Kenyo a priest or not?” Kagashe looked at him shocked for a second, but said, “Yes, he was, but he is now in the past. I was going to bring him the next time I came back, but things happened.” “You aren’t going back, are you?” Kagome asked. “I don’t have a choice, it won’t be long before he knows I’m on his tail, and on top of which, because Inu came to the village, the village is no longer safe. The only chance of keeping the disgusting spider dung away from the village, is for the two of us to lure it away,” Kagashe said. Inu stood there thunderstruck, and said, “You can’t be serious?” “I wish I wasn’t, but this has been dragging on long enough; I knew I should have done something about it years ago. I’ll tell you this much, if “I” find him, dead won’t be a good word for what he’ll look like,” Kagashe said. Inuyasha looked at Kagome, who nodded, and looked back, and said, “Very well, but Kagashe, don’t let Inu get killed.” “Don’t worry, he’ll be fine,” Kagashe said.

An hour later, Inu and Kagashe were prepared to leave, when Kagome walked up to them and said, “Inu, we’ve had the Teesi for a while, and we had always planned to give it to you.” Inu took the sword, the Teesi, from Kagome, and Inuyasha walked up. “Kagashe, here, you’ll need it,” Inuyasha said, giving Kagashe the Firerat cloak. Kagashe nodded, and put it over her green shirt. “You ready, Inu?” Kagashe asked. Inu nodded, and Kagome said, “Good luck!” Kagashe and Inu nodded, and jumped into the well, little knowing about the third member that was about to be known.

Chapter 12

The Surprising Alliance

Once back in the feudal era, Kagashe and Inu got out of the well. Kagashe turned her head, and saw a partial demon standing there. “Who are you?” Kagashe asked. Inu turned, and said, “Shanaru, how did you get to this time?” Kagashe looked at Inu, and asked, “You know her?” “She’s the one and only daughter, thus far, of our Aunt Kagura and Uncle Sesshomaru,” Inu said. “Oh, I see,” Kagashe said. Shanaru had a white kimono, with a yellow belt, and some spiked armor over the kimono, along with two weapons, a fan and what looked like the Tensaiga; her hair had Kagura’s hairstyle, but was long, and silver. Shanaru also had red eyes, two stripes on each side of her face, and a crescent moon on her forehead. Kagashe said, “Uh, Shanaru, I don’t know how any of us happened to get this time, but there has to be a reason for it.” Shanaru looked at her, and said, “I suppose so, but what reason would there be?” “Maybe we’re supposed to help the younger versions of our families defeat Naraku,” Kagashe said. Inu looked at Kagashe and said, “Maybe so.” Kagashe said, “In any case, I don’t believe any of us have a chance of getting to the correct time, unless we go through time like anyone else.” “So, are we going to join our families?” Inu asked. “I really don’t think that is such a good idea at this point in time. Let’s at least wait, until both sides master their swords,” Kagashe said. Inu looked at Shanaru, and Shanaru said, “I certainly agree with your sister.” “Shanaru, Kagura was almost killed by Naraku in this time, so we’ll have to find a way to hide all signs of Kagura from Naraku,” Kagashe said. “Any ideas?” Shanaru asked. “Hmm… Well, mom did tell me of a spell that could hide scents and appearances of one side, whether the parent is human, demon, or anything else,” Kagashe said. “You know how to use it?” Shanaru asked. “My mom told me how long ago,” Kagashe said. “Very well, go ahead,” Shanaru said. “Inu, once we’re finished here, go through the well, and get someone to alert our uncle about this, okay,” Kagashe said, “Oh, and Shanaru, I must say that you will look more like Sesshomaru, so Inuyasha will most likely mistake you for him, and he is in the village at the moment.” “All right, then I’ll go on the outskirts, so we can meet up later,” Shanaru said. Kagashe nodded, and said, “Be careful after you leave the forest of what you say, you never know where the Saimyosho will be.” Shanaru nodded, and Kagashe put her right hand over Shanaru’s eyes.

An hour later, Kagashe and Inu came back to Lady Kaede’s to pick up Kagon. Kagashe looked at Inuyasha, and said, “In about two nights Kagome and Souta will have trouble with a mask with shards.” “How would you know anything about her world?!” Inuyasha steamed. “Inuyasha, ye should listen to her, she previously predicted that ye would be unsealed, and if I’m not mistaken she also predicted how long that would happen,” Kaede said. “Huh? But how could she possibly…” Inuyasha asked. “She said that she was from the future, and I’m beginning to wonder if she might be,” Kaede said. “Kagon, you coming?” Kagashe asked. Kagon got up, and picked up the bow and arrows Kaede gave him while Kagashe had been gone. “Sorry we can’t stay longer, but if we do, that despicable spider demon might try to attack the village,” Kagashe said. “Alright, good luck,” Kaede said.

Once they were on the outskirts of the village, and had met up with Shanaru, they started forming a plan, to divert Naraku’s attention away from Shanaru, and they also chose Shanaru as their leader; Shanaru would always be within a five mile radius of the team, in case of attack. Not far down the road, they noticed a bunch of strong demons, and Shanaru said, “If none of them are on Naraku’s side, then I might be able to persuade them to help.” “Alright, then do whatever, we’ll need all the power we can get,” Kagashe said.

None of the demons were on Naraku’s side, they certainly had no intention of joining Naraku, and so they decided to help Shanaru.

Chapter 13

Fateful Meeting

The next day, Kagashe, Kagon, and Inu were heading towards the next village, with Kagon walking ahead of them, when Inu asked, “Kagashe, it’ll be in a few days, won’t it?” “Yes, but I’m not really sure just how I’m going to tell Kagon, but hopefully some kind of help will appear soon,” Kagashe said. “So, how long do you think our parents will be at the village?” Inu asked. “Probably not long, in fact if I’m not mistaken, they’ll be heading towards Nazunna and the spider-heads once they leave,” Kagashe said. Kagon looked at Kagashe and Inu, and asked, “What are you two whispering about?” Kagashe looked at Kagon, and said, “Nothing much, just thinking ahead.”

Inu looked up at the sky, and said, “Kagashe you smell that?” “Yeah, blood, human blood, and lots of it, the village ahead is under demon attack,” Kagashe said. “Well, lets not just stand here, it might me a Naraku trail,” Kagon said.

The three of them hurried down the road, and found the village ablaze, with a leaf-green haired, purple-eyed boy, with bright blue wings, in his back, who was wearing a jungle-green kimono, and was trying to fight off the demons with a fire whip, when several sutra exorcisms fired at the demons from the left, destroying the demons. “There is only one person in this world that is that precise, and he is a monk,” Kagashe said. Kagashe turned towards the bushes, with the strange boy walking over to the group. Alright, get out of the bushes, we know you’re there, Miroku,” Kagashe said. As the bushes were parted, Kagon asked, “Uh, what’s with that guy’s hand?” “That’s where Naraku put the Wind Tunnel curse on his family,” Kagashe said. “Oh, great, what next? First some strange Priest comes here, then demons, and now a monk; what is going on anyway?” the strange boy asked.

While keeping an extremely close eye on Miroku, Kagashe asked, “Say, uh… kid you got a name?” “Kaloga,” the boy said. “I see, Kaloga, do you have any relatives anywhere?” Kagashe asked. “None that are of any account. My father was killed twelve years ago, and the demons here just devoured every living thing they could find,” Kaloga said. “I see,” Kagashe said.

Miroku walked up, and asked, “Kaloga, could you explain what happened here?” “I was inside with my mom, when screams were heard. At the time I assumed one of the villagers was trying to lure me out so they could harass me, again, so I ignored it. I came out later when the screams intensified, I came out, long enough to hear that the demons were under a demon’s orders, named Sani, to annihilate the village, who was getting orders from a demon named Naraku, but that’s all I overheard. After that, I had to fight, because I had been spotted,” Kaloga said.

Kagashe looked at Miroku, who was standing in front of everyone, and Kagashe said, “Miroku, unless you’ve got a death wish, for some outlandish reason, I suggest you go after Naraku?” “How do you know me? Have we met in the past?’ Miroku asked. “Inu and I are from our parents future, so you could say we will meet in the future; you and our parents are friends, you’ll soon meet them,” Kagashe said. “NOW GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I GET IN ANGRY!” Kagashe yelled. Miroku said, “Yikes, alright, bye!” At that Miroku sprinted down the road and out of sight.

After Miroku was gone, Kagashe asked, “Kaloga, would you like to join us in the search for Naraku’s destruction?” Kaloga looked at Kagashe and said, “Of course, are you two half?” “No, were quarter demons, with priestess powers,” Kagashe said. “Oh, sorry I didn’t realize…” Kaloga said. “Hey, don’t worry about it,” Inu said. Kagashe looked around, and said, “It doesn’t look like there is much we can do here. I don’t even sense any bodies, human or demon.” “Say, I wonder why the park-like area wasn’t affected by any of this?” Inu asked.

Kagashe looked over at the park-like area, and said, “You’re right. That is curious.” “It is said that a long time ago, an extremely powerful priestess was buried there, and some people believe the barrier wards off evil demons, and makes it rain in the village, when fire and extensive droughts occur,” Kaloga said.

All of a sudden, the start of thunder was heard, and Kaloga said, “If we are going after Naraku, then let’s go, the rain will take care of the fire, and the village is all that will be affected.” “Alright, then let’s get going,” Kagashe said, “There won’t be shelter from the rain, in the village.” At that, the four of them left the village.

Chapter 14

Urasue’s Entrance

Hours later, while on the road, Kagashe, Kaloga, Kagon, and Inu noticed a nine year old girl, with beaver ears, gold hair, bright blue eyes, and was wearing a bright purple kimono, with a yellow and red outlined X on the shirt. The girl was using a large magic paddle against a hoard of demons; water and wind was being thrown at the demons from the paddle. “Why are they after the girl?” Inu asked. “Isn’t it obvious, they are after the jewel shard,” Kagashe said, running to help the girl. The young girl turned to see who was talking and Kagashe came up.

Kagashe pulled out the Tetsaiga, which automatically transformed, and the demons started to talk among themselves. “She can’t hurt us, not with this barrier. That’s what Naraku said,” a lizard demon said. Kagashe said, “Alright, where’s Naraku?” “I don’t know, and I’m the only one who has talked to Sani,” the lizard said, “In any case as long as our barrier is up, you can’t do anything to us.” Kagashe blinked, and said, “Barrier, eh? Get back kid.” The girl got back and Kagashe jumped up and hit the barrier. Kagon asked, “What’s with those red sparks coming out of the Tetsaiga?” “I had no idea she was this far advanced,” Inu said. Kagon looked at Inu, and Inu said, “Watch, she’s about to use what we like to call the “Barrier Buster.”

Kagon watched as the sparks that were forming at the tip of the Tetsaiga began to bond together, and the Tetsaiga turned red. There weren’t any more shocked hoard of demons, then those that were killed in that instant like cockroaches.

The young girl stood there like an icicle, and Kagashe turned and said, after putting the Tetsaiga in its sheave, “Hey kid what’s your name?” “Sornada. I overheard you people talking about jewel shards, the headman gave the shard to me, and I heard the one who sent the demons, was heading west,” the girl said.

“How did you know it was Naraku’s demons that attacked?” Kaloga asked. “Ten demons without a barrier, I’d accept, but ten or more, with a barrier, and during this time, Naraku is behind it somehow,” Kagashe said, with an angry look on her face. “Say, you are all after Naraku?” Sornada asked. “Yes,” Inu said. “May I join you, he is responsible for killing my human mother,” Sornada asked. “Yeah, sure the more we have, the fewer chances he has of seeing tomorrow,” Kagashe said. “Well, shall we go west?” Kagon asked. “Yeah, Naraku’s going to be “deader than a doornail,” Kagashe said.

Three hours later, while heading west, Kagon asked, “So, why do you think Naraku is heading west?” “Well it does make sense. Naraku is about to make his appearance,” Kagashe said. Inu looked at Kagashe with a questioning look on his face. “Now who do we know that could possibly be in this direction?” Kagashe said to Inu. “Oh, right, I see. It’s none other than Uncle Sesshomaru, right?” Inu asked. Kagashe nodded.

A little bit later, Kagashe stopped, and everyone looked at her. “Uh, Kagashe something wrong?” Kagon asked. “What is that in the sky?” Inu asked. Everyone looked up, and Kagashe said, “I figured Urasuae was nearby, and it seems she has come from my village up north.” “What’s your point?” Kagon asked. “Urasuae was the demon that resurrected Kikyo, and if she now posses Kenyo’s remains, we may be in dreadful trouble,” Kagashe said. “It’ll take two days to get there,” Inu said. “Why does this have to happen, now?” Kagashe asked, annoyed. “Well, we’d best go get the remains,” Kagon said.

Chapter 15

Kenyo’s Resurrection

Two days later, Kagashe, Kagon, Kaloga, Sornada, and Inu arrived at a canyon, with vines, and small skinny tower rocks going across it. “So, how do we get across?” Kagon asked. Kagashe grabbed a vine, tugged on it slightly, and swung to first rock. Inu said, “Oh, fun! I’ve always wanted to do this.”

As the five were crossing, Urasuae flew up, chopped the vines, and grabbed Kagon. Kaloga saw what happened, and used his wings to fly. He was interrupted, however by the Birds of Paradise, which were headed in the direction of the wolf-den.

By the time the giant birds were all killed, Urasuae had vanished from sight. Kaloga headed to the bottom of the canyon, and Kagashe got a giant rock off of her and Inu. Kagashe then checked on Sornada. “Are you alright, and where is Kagon?” Kagashe asked. “Urasuae captured him, and then some giant birds got in my way,” Kaloga said. “Giant birds? What kind?” Inu asked. “I don’t know, but they had big mouths, and blue people sprouting out of their heads,” Kaloga said. Inu looked at Kagashe, and Kagashe said, “I don’t know what the Birds of Paradise are doing here, but if Urasuae captured Kagon, then Kagon must be the reincarnation of Kenyo.” “Are you sure?” Sornada asked. “There’d be no other reason for this. Now hurry up, before we have more problems then we can handle,” Kagashe said. At that they all headed towards the wall. While climbing the wall, Inu asked, “Kagashe, uh… just how did Kenyo die?” “Let me put it this way, Naraku used the same exact tactic he used on father,” Kagashe said.

Hours later, Kaloga, Sornada Kagashe, and Inu arrived at Urasue’s place, and Kagashe said, “Oh, great we’re too late!” Inu looked at Kagashe, and Kaloga asked, “Inu, something wrong?” “I… I don’t know. I would think that my sister would react differently, but even though she has been following father’s path, she didn’t react, even when Kenyo is standing before her,” Inu said. “Inu, find a way to awaken Kagon. I’ll find a way to release the soul,” Kagashe said.

Kenyo walked right past Urasuae, ignoring her, and asked, “Kagashe, what are you doing here? I sealed you at the tree.” “True, now look, that whole thing stinks of Naraku, and you should know it,” Kagashe said. “How can you tell such lies? Was it not you that attacked me and stole the crystal?” Kenyo asked, pulling out an arrow and releasing it. Inu saw that, and jumped away from Kagon and in front of Kagashe.

When Inu jumped in front of Kagashe, something surprising happened; the arrow disintegrated, because of a barrier that suddenly appeared out of nowhere around Inu. Kenyo, Kagashe, Kaloga, Sornada, Inu, and Urasuae stood there blinking. Inu said, “Uh… Uh… what just happened?” “IDIOT, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? HOW DO YOU THINK OUR PARENTS, ESPECIALLY FATHER, WOULD REACT IF I CAME HOME WITHOUT YOU?” Kagashe yelled. Inu got quiet.

After everyone recovered from the shock, Kagashe said, “Anyway, Kenyo, if you recall, it was Naraku, who caused us to leave the village in the first place; the old man was one: an illusion, or two: one of his minions. Naraku used the same trick against my father and the priestess Kikyo. If you can’t figure it out that Naraku was plotting to kill us by now, then you are truly a simple-minded fool.” “You’re right, and that fortune teller had the spider prediction on us. There is no way that could have been any coincidence,” Kenyo said, “I can’t believe I’ve been so stupid.”

At that moment, Kagon woke up, and his body glowed. Kenyo closed his eyes, and lights left him, and returned to Kagon. After a while, Kenyo opened his eyes and looked down at the ground, and then looked at Kagon. “Say, why is Kenyo still standing? When a soul returns, to the correct person, shouldn’t someone like Kenyo cease to exist?” Inu asked. Kenyo then pushed Urasuae out of the way, and left, with her yelling at him to come back, but Kenyo completely ignored her. Kagon got up, and Kagashe ran over to Kagon. “Kagon are you okay?” Kagashe asked. “Yeah, sure,” Kagon said. “Then let’s get out of here,” Kagashe said, “We’re getting out of demon territory, of any kind, now.” “No complaints here,” Kagon said. At that they all left. Urasuae yelled, “HEY, COME BACK HERE.” “Ignore her, she has nothing worth listening to,” Kagashe said.

Chapter 16

The Triple-Secret Revealed

The next day, around evening, Kagashe, Kagon, Kaloga, and Sornada had left demon territory, and had come across a small shack that looked like it hadn’t been used in a while. Kagashe opened the door, and said, “Well it’s not much, but better than nothing.” “Are you sure this will be alright?” Kagon asked. “KAGON, IF YOU KNOW OF A BETTER PLACE, THEN DO TELL,” Kagashe yelled. Kagon looked at her for a second, and then asked, “What has gotten into you two? You’ve been acting strange for the last hour.” Kaloga and Sornada looked at each other, and Sornada whispered to Kaloga, “Is it just me or does it seem like Kagashe’s and Inu’s scent is changing?” Kaloga said, “It’s not your imagination. They’re quarter demons, so perhaps they are losing power.”

As the five of them went inside, Kagon asked, “Shouldn’t we be getting something to eat?” ”If you and Kaloga want to get something to eat, for everyone, then go, otherwise leave Inu and me alone,” Kagashe said. Kagon said, “Kaloga, lets go.” Kaloga nodded, and the two of them left.

Later, at a river near the shack, Kagon asked, “Kaloga, why do you think those two are acting so strange?” “It probably has something to do with their scent changing,” Kaloga said. “Scent changing?” Kagon asked. “We, half-demons change into humans on one given night. Kagashe and Inu being quarter-demons it might last longer for them,” Kaloga said. “So, you think it might be coming up?” Kagon asked. “Oh, not just coming up, starting tonight. Probably it will start at sundown,” Kaloga said. “So why didn’t they tell me?” Kagon asked. “Well, maybe they would have, if you would have listened, instead of trying to bite their heads off; in fact I think they did try to tell you at least five times today,” Kaloga said. Kagon looked at the boy, and left with him to head back to the shack.

When everyone had returned to the shack, Kagon walked over to Kagashe, and said, “Sorry for all the yelling today, but tell me are the two of you losing powers tonight?” “They figured it out, eh? It only happens at night, for three nights,” Kagashe said. “I see, then I’ll understand if we don’t move around too much,” Kagon said. “Well, don’t get too worried, I mean, we still have our priestess powers, which in some cases has been known to overpower certain demons,” Kagashe said.

The next three nights went by surprisingly fast , and the morning after, everyone headed out.

Chapter 17

Nazunna’s problem

"Now that that is over with, we can get back to tracking Naraku," Kagashe said, when they had gone some ways down the road. "Hey, there's a village ahead, "Inu said. "Yeah, I know, we're not far from Nazunna," Kagashe said. "Are you sure?" Kagon asked. "Look there," Kagashe said, pointing to a destroyed spider, "Anytime you see something like that, and scents of our parents, you can bet that Nazunna is close by."

The five of them found their way to the village, which Nazunna now lived in. Nazunna saw them from a distance, and ran to them thinking that they were Inuyasha and Kagome; when she saw that they weren't who she thought they were, she started to back off. "Nazunna, correct? Anyone that is afraid of demons in this time and place, must be you," Kagashe said. "Uh, yes, how did you know my name?" Nazunna asked. "We're from the future," Inu said. "Oh, well, that makes sense," Nazunna said. "So tell us has anyone here heard of the whereabouts of Naraku?" Kagashe asked. "Uh... if anyone would know, the headman would," Nazunna said. Nazunna took the group to the headman's house, and asked while heading there, "Do you know of Inuyasha and Kagome?" "Yes, Inu and I are their future kids," Kagashe said. "Oh, well no wonder, because you both look a lot like them," Nazunna said.

They soon arrived at the village headman's house, and Kagashe stopped. Kaloga's wings started fluttering, and Nazunna asked, "What's wrong?" "Doesn't she feel it?" Kagon asked. "Probably not, she is neither priestess, monk nor demon, so she doesn't notice anything," Kagashe said. The five of them decided to follow her into the house, and the headman came from the back.

After Nazunna explained what they wanted, he smiled and said, "Of course, I'd be more than happy to help. Now I haven't heard anything, but perhaps if you can stay for a while, then I can find out from the incoming two villagers that went out to check a cave earlier." "I see, well there seems to be a demon problem somewhere in the village. The moment we approached your house we all felt it. Somewhere in this village, there is a evil demon," Kagashe said. "You don't think it could be in this house, do you?" Nazunna asked. "No, I don't believe so. This house is to close to the edge of the barrier," Kagashe said, "What ever it is would be at the very center." The headman, who was an old man dressed in what looked like old clothes, said, "Nazunna, I don't know what all this means, but would you mind staying with my niece until this crisis passes? She lives on the outskirts of the village." Nazunna nodded, and Kagashe said, "The demon is getting more powerful by the second."

Chapter 18

The Puppet and the Weak Demons

As evening approached, the two villagers came back to the village, and found the village headman. "So, the demon is a rat?" Kagon asked. "Something just doesn't seem right," Kagashe said. "Yeah, the miasma is too strong," Inu said. "What do you mean by too strong?" the headman asked. "Naraku has to be behind all this, in some way; he's plotting something. I wonder if this is a trap of some sort," Kagashe said, wondering. "What do you mean, trap?" the headman asked. "Naraku is a piece of dung that is never simple, and will use anything and anyone, so that he won't get directly involved, to bring down his enemies," Kagashe said.

As night fell, the rat came out followed by a giant spider, and Kaloga, Sornada, Kagon, Kagashe, and Inu saw the demons, and Kagashe said, "Why is the miasma dissipating?" "Does that mean, that Naraku is leaving?" Inu asked. "It's possible, I mean he is afraid of me, but anyway..." Kagashe said. All of a sudden, Kagashe turned around briskly, and yelled, "IRON STEALER!" while using her claws against the Naraku puppet, destroying it. The miasma had completely disappeared, and Kagashe looked looked at the other demons, and said, "Is this all there is?" Inu looked at Kagashe, who had one eyebrow raised. "Inu, have some target practice," Kagashe said. Inu easily killed the two, with one swipe of the Teesi. "We go, to the next village, after we say goodbye to Nazunna, and everyone," Kagon said, in a not-impressed tone.

Chapter 19

The Demon Transformation

A week later, Kagashe, Kagon, Kaloga, Sornada, and Inu arrived at Lady Kaede’s village, and Kagashe asked, “Kagon, would you like to come with us?” “Where to?” Kagon asked. “Our time,” Kagashe said. “Uh, sure,” Kagon said. “Kaloga, Sornada, you probably won’t pass through the well, only certain ones can. Anyway, stay with Kaede,” Kagashe said. Kagashe, Kagon, and Inu, went into the Inuyasha forest, and Kaloga, and Sornada, went to Kaede's hut to wait.

Three hours later, Kagashe, Kagon, and Inu returned, and right outside the village, a bear-demon, was attacking, and Kaloga was fighting alongside Sornada, in order to get it under control. Kagashe and Inu went to where the bear was and Kagon stayed with Lady Kaede. Kaede was heading towards the bear, as well.

The fight was well underway, and before Kagashe could stop him, Inu charged at the demon, and the bear hit the Teesi out of Inu's hands, and then knocked him out. Kagashe said, "Why you..." Just as she was about to step out, Sornada stopped her, with her hand. "Uh... Sornada?" Kagashe asked. The bears arm was sliced off by Inu, who now had red eyes, and a purple mark on each side of his face. The bear turned, and was destroyed. Kaede showed up, and Kagashe said, "Kagon, mom gave you a necklace. Do you still have it?" "Yes," Kagon said, pulling out a green subjection necklace. "Kaede I don't like doing this, but put it on Inu, I'll activate it," Kagashe said.

Three seconds later, "Heel boy!" Kagashe said. Crash! Inu fell to the ground face-first, and Kagashe walked over to Inu. Inu sat up, and said, "Did you put this necklace on me?" "You gave me no choice; tell me do you remember killing the bear?" Kagashe asked. "Bear?" Inu asked (gasp). "You don't remember, do you?" Kagashe asked. Inu shook his head, no. "Well, pick up the Teesi, and let's go back to the village. If anyone would know what happened, our parents would. Don't worry I'll try to go easy on you," Kagashe said, upon noticing the worried look on Inu's face.

Once back in the village, Kagashe said, "Kagon, stay with Inu, I'll be back." At that, she headed towards the well in the forest, and got in. On the other side, Kagome asked, "You really think she and Inu are the ones that helped us kill Naraku?" "It’s the only explanation, and it’s only a matter of time, until..." Inuyasha trailed off. "Yeah, I know," Kagome said. "Only a matter of time, till what?" Kagashe asked, coming through the door. Inuyasha and Kagome turned. "Till we find out about the other transformation? Now I would like some answers, and I don't care how long it takes, because I’m not leaving until I get them," Kagashe said. "You two must keep hold of your swords. That is the only thing stopping the demon blood from controlling your actions," Kagome said. "I see, and why couldn't either of you told me, or at least Inu, before we left?" Kagashe asked. "Uh... Uh..." Kagome said. "Maybe you should talk later," Hitome said, from the kitchen. Kagashe nodded, and left. Once back at the hut, Kagashe said, "Inu, don't let me catch you without the Teesi, or you'll regret it, Coprendo?" Inu nodded, and said, “You found out what happened?” “Yeah, but we’ll talk later,” Kagashe said, “Oh, and Kaede could you not say any of this conversation to our parents team, otherwise, the future will be altered, and on top of that, we might not be born.” “Aye!” Kaede said. “Thanks,” Kagashe said. The group left, and soon after, deep in a forest, an evil creature wearing a white baboon pelt, said, “Maybe its time I eliminated them.”

Chapter 20

More Members and the Adamant Barrage

Ten days later, Kagashe, Kagon, Kaloga, Sornada, and Inu had met eight other half-demons, that were also half-siblings, which Naraku had deceived. Kornu, Flufly, Sagi, Nagi, Flugi, Forfo, Fing, and Sonili were the names, and all were siblings to another. Sonili was the only one, however, that possessed magic illusions, and was the youngest. The siblings, except for Kornu and Flufly were boys, and they all wore blue kimonos of one sort or another. They all had purple hair and yellow eyes, except for the youngest, which had blue eyes; each had a different hair length. All of a sudden, a large creature that was all black, with red eyes in the form of a coyote appeared before the group the day of the solar eclipse.

The half-demons along with the others, made short work of the coyote, suddenly, a stronger than usual miasma circled the group. Kagashe spotted the point where Naraku was, and said, “Everyone, get back.” Inu asked after getting behind his sister, “Uh… didn’t she just learn the barrier breaker?” “Uh… yeah!” Kagon said who was already behind Kagashe. “How is it that she can wield the Tetsaiga like that after just a few days?” Inu asked. Kagashe used the Adamant Barrage against Naraku, who somehow got away thanks to a flock of demon geese that were in between Naraku and Kagashe at that moment.

Chapter 21

The Inevitable Meeting

Some time later, after realizing that Kaloga’s weak night was the last quarter, and Sornada’s was the day after, they met up with Inuyasha’s team; Sango and Kirara were now with Inuyasha’s team.

Kagashe walked up to Sango, and said are you

Sango?” “Um… yes, should I know you?” Sango asked. “We’ve never met, but you’ve probably heard about me from your father,” Kagashe said, “My name is Kagashe.” “Oh, I remember, father told me about you. If I’m not mistaken, you were the one able to predict what has happened recently to my family and friends,” Sango said. Inuyasha, who had his hand on his Tetsaiga to keep it from shaking, turned his head, at the same time as Kagashe pulled out her Tetsaiga.

“Get back everyone,” Kagashe said. “Adamant Barrage!” Kagashe yelled, after pulling the Tetsaiga out and the diamond sparks fired at the dragon.

Kagon fired an arrow at the dragon, which gave Kagashe the time needed to destroy the dragon with the Dragon-Scaled Tetsaiga.

“Uh… who are you?” Shippo asked. “It’s like I said last time, Inu and I are from the future, Kagon; there, is no telling, and we met everyone else on the road,” Kagashe said. “You two are priestess, are you not?” Miroku asked. “So you can tell?” Kagashe said very sternly.

“You know her?” Shippo asked. “Yeah, but at the time she was screaming at me to leave,” Miroku said.

“So, you were after her, as well?” Shippo asked. “I never even asked her; she said she wasn’t angry, but if she wasn’t, I don’t want to see her angry,” Miroku said. “So what time do you come from?” Kagome asked. “Not to be two fine a point, two,” Kagashe said. “Two?” Kagome asked, “So why are you in this time?” “Don’t know, we can’t get to one of our times for some reason,” Inu said. “That’s enough, Inu,” Kagashe said. “But…” Inu said.

“ENOUGH!” Kagashe yelled, “Don’t give me any ideas.” Inu got quiet, and Kagon said, “Shouldn’t we be going?”

“Yeah and you’ll figure out the ways to add techniques in time. You’ve seen what it is able to do,” Kagashe said looking strait at Inuyasha.

“So you mean there are more techniques in the Tetsaiga?” Kagome asked.

“At the moment there are only two,” Kagashe said, “And when the time comes we will all join forces. Anyways we’ve got a piece of trash to kill.” “Alright, see you later,” Kagome said.

After they left, Inuyasha asked, “What was that all about?” “I remember that father said that a demon got on Kagashe’s bad side, and it seems awfully similar to Naraku, especially considering the fact of exactly, how he got on her bad side,” Sango said, looking at Inuyasha who wasn’t paying attention. Shippo said, “Say anyone notice something strange?”

“Like what?” Inuyasha asked. “You probably won’t believe this but Kagashe looked similar to…” Shippo started to say. “Similar to what?” Inuyasha asked.

“Ahh… never mind, its too crazy and you wouldn’t understand,” Shippo said. “What?!” Inuyasha yelled. Thud! Shippo’s head met with Inuyasha’s fist. “Sit boy!” Kagome said. Crash! Inuyasha fell to the ground face first. “I think I see what you mean Shippo,” Kagome said, “Kagashe looked a lot like Inuyasha. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Inuyasha yelled picking up his head. “Sit boy” Kagome said. “Well we’ll ask them next time,” Miroku said, “Let’s continue shall we?” “Hey you aren’t going to leave me here are you?” Inuyasha yelled at the group that was leaving.

Chapter 22

The Wolf Meeting

Five hours later, Kagashe stopped, and Inu said, “What is it?” “How could I have forgotten?” Kagashe said to herself. “How could…” Inu started to say, “What the?” “Do I have to ask?” Kagashe said, looking at a whirlwind heading in their direction.

As Kouga stopped, he asked, “Just who are you?” “Hello you must be Kouga!” Kagashe said. “Why do you two smell like that mutt?” Kouga asked. “We’re from the future, and I take it you’re after Naraku?” Kagashe said. “Uh yeah, wait a minute…” Kouga said, looking closely at Kagashe. “If you’re able to figure it out, don’t say anything to them. We’ll tell them in due time, but for now lets leave them guessing, alright, Kouga,” Kagashe requested. “I don’t really know why, but okay,” Kouga said. “Thanks, we don’t want them knowing too soon; good luck with Naraku’s puppet’s incarnations tomorrow night,” Kagashe said. “I didn’t understand half of that, but Naraku is going to appear tomorrow?” Kouga asked. “Yes, so keep all senses peeled,” Kagashe said. “Gotcha,” Kouga said. Just then Ginta and Hakakaku showed up, with the wolves, and Kouga said, “Well see you!” At that Kouga took off again, and Ginta said, “Com’ on Kouga, slow down.”

“So, what now?” Inu asked. “I suppose we can go home tonight,” Kagashe said, “Naraku’s going to be busy for the next two days. Let’s not bother with incarnations and puppets.”

The next evening, Kagashe, Kaloga, Sornada, Kornu, Flufly, Sagi, Nagi, Flugi, Forfo, Fing, Sonli, Inu, and Kagon were at their village with Kaede, and Inu, Kagashe, and Kagon went through the well, to go home.

Chapter 23

Kagon’s Past

Once on the other side of the well, and everyone was at the tree, Kagon said, “Inu, maybe you should stay by the tree for a while.” “Okay, I guess I’ll see you two in a few,” Inu said.

             After Kagon and Kagashe had gone inside the house, and explained what happened the last time, Kagome called Inu in. “So you’re saying that Inu transformed,” Inuyasha asked Kagashe. Kagashe nodded, and Kagon said, “It’s not like she had a choice, she had to put the subjection necklace on Inu.”

            Say, Kagashe where did you pick up Kagon, anyway?” Kagome asked. Kagashe looked at Kagon, and said, “Come to think about it, where do you come from?” “I come from a very long line of priestesses and priests, even longer then most lines; I also went through seven different times before arriving here including the time called the dragon era, where many dragons were pets to humans,” Kagon said. "Wait a minute, Dragons and humans lived together?" Kagome asked. "I see, they are trying to brainwash everyone in this time too," Kagon said, "Yes, not many are left in any time, and the so-called "smart" people will do anything to avoid the truth, and those people that speak out are whipped or worse just about everywhere they go. Of course, those places that are free the people are marked as crazy, and their name is associated with hate." "So why are there so few?" Inuyasha asked. "If five grizzly bears were running rabid throughout a city on Thursday by next Wednesday, every newspaper in a 1000 mile radius would say, "Bingo, Sodu, Bibidii, Sonji, and Bubba killed a grizzly bear each, wouldn't they?" Kagon asked, "Who wants to live next to a fifty foot or more, so-called dangerous dragon?" "I see what you mean," Kagome said. “Well anyway, lets just say that I come from the future,” Kagon said. I sort of suspected that the “so-called smart people” were lying. The only way they would know anything other than a bone in the ground came from an animal that died is if they talked to everyone from the earliest man to the latest, I mean bones don’t talk and they don’t have labels.

Chapter 24

Kagome’s Requested Suggestion

Kagashe, Inu, and Kagon were getting ready to leave, when Kagome came in the room. “Kagashe, where did you get all those shards?” Kagome asked. “Oh, Sango’s father gave them to me, and I was supposed to give them to you in that time, but I forgot. I guess I’ll give them to you next time I see you,” Kagashe said. “No, wait until after everyone meets at Mount Hakurei and returns to the village,” Kagome said. “Huh?” Kagashe blinked. “Naraku will get a hold of the Band of 7’s plus the bottle of shards, so I’ll need to find other shards,” Kagome said. “Alright, no problem,” Kagashe said.

Inuyasha walked up, and said, “Kagashe, here it’ll come in handy soon.” Inuyasha handed Kagashe the golden, heart-shaped locket that Kagome had given him years ago. “Uh, sure,” Kagashe said, putting the necklace around Inu’s neck, “Inu, why don’t you wear it.” Kagome smiled, and Inuyasha said, “Good luck!” Kagashe nodded, and said, “Kagon, are you ready yet?” “Yeah!” Kagon said. “Let’s get going then. Our leader is probably waiting,” Kagashe said.

“Wait if you aren’t the leader, then who…” Hitome started to ask, who was in the doorway. “Shanaru, but she is five miles away, and is followed by several demons,” Inu said. They all stopped talking, and Kagashe, Kagon, and Inu headed towards the well-house, and got in the well.

Chapter 25

Predictions

As Kagashe, Kagon, and Inu returned to the village, Kagome came by and Kagashe caught Kagome. “Listen, he will never truly choose Kikyo. Remember that at any time,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean?” Kagome asked. “It’d be best to let time walk,” Kagashe said, looking away. The three of them headed to Kaede’s hut.

Later that night, Kagashe’s team noticed the soul collectors from over the hill, and Kagashe put her hand on her face, and shook her head. Kagashe put her hand down and said, “We need to go back.” “What?! Why?” Sornada asked. “You’ll see,” Kagashe said.

As they reaproached the village, Miroku and Sango were talking with Inuyasha, who had left the forest seconds before. Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Kirara, saw Kagashe’s team, and Inuyasha saw Kagashe looking strangely at him and him only. “What is it? Why are you looking at me like that?” Inuyasha asked. “You may be able to fool yourself, but you will never fool your closest friends, and soon to be family,” Kagashe said. “How do you know what happened, you weren’t there,” Inuyasha steamed. “Have you already forgotten that we are from the future?” Kagashe asked.

Inuyasha blinked. “It’s all in history, you get sealed and then released by your future wife,” Kagashe said. “Tell us what will happen to…” Miroku started to ask. “If it is about Kikyo, after Naraku is finally killed, she disappears because her soul is finally calmed; which means she doesn’t return,” Kagashe said. Inuyasha looked at Kagashe, and Miroku said, “So you’re saying Inuyasha is only fooling himself, when he goes after Kikyo.” “Yes and he has always been like that,” Kagashe said. “You would know you are following his path and attitude,” Inu said. “Inu, HEEL BOY!” Kagashe yelled. Crash! Inu crashed to the ground, hard, face first. “We go, come on, Inu,” Kagashe said after a few seconds. Inu got up and followed his sister.

Chapter 26

The Black Tetsaiga

Days later, Kagashe’s team was under attack by demons, when a strange human-like creature, with red eyes, light green hair, and spider fangs appeared. The creature had maroon fur on his hands, which had an eye on it, and a purple outfit on.

“What is that?” Sornada asked. Kagashe sniffed the air, and said, “No doubt about it; it’s another incarnation of that creep, Naraku.” “My name is Narsing. I am called the dark shadow of Naraku,” the creature said. “Dark Shadow?” Kagashe said raising one eyebrow. “Yes, I’m only half the power of Naraku’s ultimate form,” Narsing said. “Bring it on,” Sornada said pulling out her paddle. The eight half-siblings pulled out their swords, and Sonli said, pulling out a hatchet out of nowhere, “I won’t waste magic on you.” Kaloga pulled out his whip, Inu pulled out the Teesi, Kagon pulled out a bow and arrow, and Kagashe pulled out her Tetsaiga.

Everyone attacked Narsing all at once, and Narsing started to laugh. After Inu fired a flying bird out of the Teesi, which chopped off his arm, a bunch of the Saimyosho shot at Narsing, and Narsing absorbed the Saimyosho. Narsing finally stopped laughing. All of a sudden, Kagashe ran towards Narsing, and the Tetsaiga turned black; Kagashe then used the Black Tetsaiga to destroy Narsing.

After Narsing was killed, a whip of light destroyed seven demons and Kagon destroyed twenty demons that were trying to kill Kagashe. “Thanks, cousin,” Kagashe called. Shanaru left, and Kagashe asked, “Does anyone know where Totosai lives?” Nobody answered, and Inu asked, “Why do you need to speak with him?” “Inu did you not hear what that incarnation said?” Inu blinked. “It said that it was only half of Naraku’s power,” Kagashe said. “I see well I suppose we go after Myoga,” Inu said.

Kagashe nodded, and Inu said, “I wonder if our cousin will need to use her sword?” “Does she know how to use it?” Kagashe asked. “She knows how, and used to train in her world, but now the training is put to the test, since she is attacked by evil demons day after day by demons that are neither on Naraku’s nor on her side wanting us killed,” Inu said. The group headed towards where Inuyasha and his team would arrive the next day, after fighting the tree of the Human-faced fruits.

Chapter 27

The Reveal

The evening after the New Moon, Kagashe and her team were fighting a large amount of demons, Inu and Kagashe's swords stopped working. Kagashe yelled, over the demons, “PUT UP YOUR SWORD, AND USE ARROWS!” Kagashe and Inu returned their swords to their sheaves, they pulled out their bows and arrows, and fired their arrows.

As the noise got louder and closer to the village, Inuyasha said, “Kagome, either go home or go to Kaede’s.” “Wait, jewel shards are coming,” Kagome said. “Do you think it could be Kagashe?” Shippo asked, noticing that Inuyasha grabbed the Tetsaiga to stop it from rattling. “What about it, Inuyasha?” Kagome asked. “I don’t know, if they are here they have a different scent,” Inuyasha said.

Inuyasha and Miroku left and Kagome and Shippo went to Kaede’s. Inuyasha and Miroku got to the hill, and got rid of the demons, long enough for Kagashe’s team to escape to Kaede’s.

After the demons were killed, Inuyasha and Miroku went to Kaede’s. Kagome asked Kagon while Inuyasha and Miroku got rid of the demons, “Kagon, why are they acting so weird?” “Oh, this is normal for this time,” Kagon said. “They weren’t like this last time,” Kagome said. “Last time it wasn’t one of their three nights,” Kagon said. “Three?” Kagome asked. “Yes, it happens for three nights; this being the last night, because they are quarter demons,” Kagon said.

Kagashe and Inu’s hair, claws, and, eyes changed, two seconds after Kagon stopped talking. “Have any of you seen Myoga?” Kagashe who was in a corner, asked. “No, he disappeared after Inuyasha killed Ryokotsei with the Backlash Wave,” Shippo said. “Oh, I see,” Kagashe said.

Inuyasha and Miroku came through the door, and Inuyasha asked, “Kagashe?” “Yes, tonight’s one of our nights,” Kagashe said. Inu was over by the window looking out through a slit in the shade. “Inu, get over here,” Kagashe said, strictly. Inu quickly got away from the window, and got next to Kagashe.

Chapter 28

Kouga’s Reveal

The next morning, Kagashe and Kagon were leaning against each other in a corner, and Kagon woke up and looked at Kagashe. Inu was outside, with Inuyasha, and Inu said, “No there is no Kikyo in our time.” Kagashe and Kagon walked outside, and Inuyasha asked, “What will happen to Kagome?” “That’s up to you to make sure she survives,” Kagashe said. Inuyasha turned, and asked, “What do you mean?” “It’ll be up to you to decide what to do with her once Naraku is gone,” Kagashe said, “That’s all that is going to be said at this time.”

Kagome came around the corner, and Inuyasha turned his head. “What’s going to happen to Kouga?” Kagome asked. “I know that he survives, but as far as any kids, I don’t know,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean? Who could he possibly like, other than Kagome?” Inuyasha yelled. “Ah, then you haven’t met his fiancé,” Kagashe said. “Fiancé?” Inuyasha and Kagome asked. “When will that happen?” Kagome asked. “Not will, did. It happened ages ago,” Kagashe said, “He just forgot.” “Anyways we should get going,” Inu said. “Hold on, Kagome said, “You have shards, don’t you?” “The instructions you gave us is to give them to you after you return from the pure mountain,” Kagashe said.

Kagome and Inuyasha blinked, and Kagome asked, “Wait, are you saying you two know us in the future?” “No one knows you better than us,” Kagashe said. Kagon said, “Uh… Kagashe?”

Taking Kagon’s meaning, Kagashe said, “We’d best be going.” Kagashe, Kagon, and Inu headed towards the well, and Kagome asked, “Have you noticed that those two never call us by name?” “Huh?! So what?” Inuyasha asked. “Oh, never mind, I’m probably imagining things,” Kagome said.

Chapter 29

Onigumo’s Entrance

Over a month later, Kagashe caught Myoga’s trail, and saw him on a cat being chased by another flea. The next day, Kagashe’s team caught up with Myoga, with the help of Shoga. Kagashe said, “Shoga, do what you want with Myoga, but do it after he takes us to Totosai.” “Alright,” Shoga said.

Once at Totosai’s, Kagashe told Totosai the story and the situation, and Totosai said, “I see, well I would never request this of your father, but you being part priestess, have a chance. The only way to strengthen the Tetsaiga, is to absorb the arrow of the only demon- priestess in this time” “You mean Kikyo, correct?” Inu asked. Totosai nodded, and Kagashe picked up the Tetsaiga.

Kagashe’s team left, and seconds later, Shanaru and her demons appeared. “Hello, Shanaru,” Kagashe said. “Kagashe, are you sure you want to go through with this? Its never been accomplished.” Shanaru said. “It’d be no different then getting killed by Mr. Manure,” Kagashe said.

A few days later, Kagashe’s team had found their way back to where Inuyasha, Shippo, Miroku, Sango, and Kirara were at. All of a sudden, Inuyasha turned his head towards some bushes. “Alright, come on out; what do you want?” Inuyasha said, getting up. “Sorry,” Kagashe said as she and the rest of her team also came out, “We’re just hoping you could lead me to someone.”

The next day, Kagashe’s team and Inuyasha’s were following a Naraku trail, when they came across a battlefield of faceless warriors. “I know where she is,” Kagashe thought to herself. Then she said, “Would you people mind looking after everyone? I have to leave.” “We’ve already got our hands full of Naraku,” Inuyasha said. “Maybe they can help, after all Naraku is the sort that even one group alone can't kill. Oh, and don’t underestimate Inu, I suspect that he’s more powerful than both our parents powers combined, and that’s saying something,” Kagashe said. Kagashe looked at Inuyasha, and he said, “Alright, whatever!” “Oh, and if you are able to, Kill Onigumo’s heart,” Kagashe said. After that, Kagashe sped off.

Chapter 30

The Absorbed Arrow & Kagashe’s Request

As everyone stood there, bewildered, Inu said, “I don’t know what my sister was talking about, but we’d best go find that incarnation.” “Yeah,” Inuyasha said, “If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s another stubborn Kagome; you two are the only ones that are like her.” Kagashe’s group grinned at one another, and the group headed towards the village.

Kagashe was stopped in the woods by Shanaru. “Shanaru, I’ll be fine, but I’m not sure about Inu. I promised he’d be under protection; if you can, can you keep an eye on him and Kagon?” Kagashe asked. Shanaru nodded, and went to follow Kagon and Inu.

A few hours later, Naraku had left Kikyo, and not just because of Onigumo. Kagashe came out of the trees, and Kikyo turned and said, drawing an arrow into her bow, “What do you want?” Kagashe pulled out her sword, and turned it black. Kikyo pulled back an arrow, and released it. The arrow hit the Tetsaiga, and a ripple effect formed in the black area, where the arrow was at. The arrow started to go inside the sword, and after it did, the sword turned gold.

Kikyo blinked, and Kagashe put up the Tetsaiga after transforming it to normal. “Thanks Kikyo that’s all I needed,” Kagashe said. “Why were you trying to absorb my arrow?” Kikyo asked. “I needed the power in order to kill Naraku,” Kagashe said, “He deceived a boy named Kenyo in the way you and Inuyasha were deceived fifty years ago.” Kikyo said, “I see if there is anything I can do to help…” “Yes there is one thing. Something that only you can do,” Kagashe said. “Only me?” Kikyo asked.

“Are you aware that Urasue revived people using magic?” Kagashe asked. Kikyo nodded. “Kenyo was also revived, and he also wanders the earth, some time before you were, by a few days. I want you to put his soul at peace, after Naraku is killed,” Kagashe said. “Alright, and just so you know I see you are part priestess; you can put a curse on any demon, and cause their power to weaken,” Kikyo said. “I wonder if my brother Inu can do the same,” Kagashe said, thinking out loud. “Probably, you are Inuyasha’s daughter, are you not,” Kikyo asked. “Uh, yes,” Kagashe said, “Kikyo don’t tell them that Inu and I are their kids; the time will come when they do find out, but now is not that time.” “What is your name?” Kikyo asked. “Kagashe,” Kagashe said. “Very well, Kagashe, I won’t tell them,” Kikyo said.

Chapter 31

Naraku’s Weakness

At Kaede’s hut, Kagome, Sango, Shippo, and Kirara were with Kagashe’s team. Inu said, “I wonder what my sister meant by “kill Onigumo’s heart?” “You’re right it is curious.” Shippo said.

A few hours later, Inuyasha and Miroku returned, along with Kagashe. “So it worked?” Kagon said, looking relieved. “I take it Onigumo got away?” Kagashe said, sitting down. “Yeah” Inuyasha said, sitting next to Kagome. “Well, that’ll make things more difficult,” Kagashe said. “Say Kagashe, what did you mean by, “Kill Onigumo?” Shippo asked. “(Sigh!) As you know Onigumo was the beginning of what became Naraku…” Kagashe said, “…And now you know that Naraku needs Onigumo as a link.” “Yeah, so what?” Inuyasha asked. “If you kill Onigumo, you will also kill Naraku,” Kagashe said. “That might explain why Naraku reabsorbed Onigumo,” Miroku said.

“Anyways, tomorrow we’re going to have to leave,” Kagashe said. “Why don’t you stay another day?” Kagome asked. “Sorry, but if we stay, we’ll be putting the entire village in jeopardy,” Kagashe said, “We’re trying to lure a demon that acts like manure away, so we can kill him.” “I understand most of you but why are Inu and Kagon here?” Sango asked. “Inu got dragged in, after he appeared in this time, and Kagon is the one responsible for getting us started, so to speak, never mind that he is also the reincarnation of Kenyo,” Kagashe said. “You think of him more than that, though, correct?” Inu asked. “Inu…” Kagashe said.

The next day, Kagashe’s team had left when Kagashe stopped. “What is it?” Kagon asked. Inu said, “If I didn’t know better, I’d say that was Shanaru, but that doesn’t make sense.” “It must be our uncle looking for Naraku,” Kagashe said. “Huh? But why now?” Inu asked. Nobody knows. He just kept following Naraku’s scent, that is until Naraku made him angry,” Kagashe said. “Well let’s get out of the way,” Inu said. Everyone moved, and let Sesshomaru, Jaken, Rin, and Ah-un pass.

Chapter 32

Shiori’s Decision

Kagashe’s team continued to head down the road, after Sesshomaru and his team passed, and at the same time, Inuyasha and Kirara reached Totosai’s. Days later, Kagashe’s team passed through a village close to Shiori’s village. “Something stinks,” Kagashe said. “Yeah, it’s Naraku’s demons,” Sornada said.

All of a sudden, a large hoard of demons flew overhead. “Well, it’s a good thing we came this way,” Kagashe said, “Tygokumaru may be dead, but now the village is under attack by Naraku’s demons.” Inu looked at his sister, and Kagashe said, “Let’s go!” Everyone followed Kagashe to the next village, and when they got there half of the village had already been destroyed.

Half a second later, they heard an eerie, freaky scream that would curl anyone’s toes. Kagashe said, “See what you can do about the demons.” Everyone nodded, and fought the demons while Kagashe followed the source of the scream.

As Kagashe was running towards a shack, Shiori came out beside her. “You’re Shiori, aren’t you?” Kagashe asked. “Yes,” Shiori said. “Well, can you help my friends defeat the demons? I’ll explain why later,” Kagashe said. Shiori nodded, and left to help. Kagashe got to the hut and killed the spider that had its fangs stuck in Shiori’s mom’s arm. Shiori’s mom looked at Kagashe and said, “You saved me yet my time is up.” “Ahh! Where’s that flea when he’s needed?” Kagashe said annoyed, and sitting down. “Who are you?” Shiori’s mom asked weakly. “Name’s Kagashe, Kagome and Inuyasha’s daughter from the future.” Kagashe said. “Oh, I see,” Shiori’s mom said. “Listen, Shiori needs to leave, the village is no longer safe. There is a place she can go if she so chooses, but she will most likely join us. I’ll ask her if she wants to go there, or join our team of partial demons,” Kagashe said. “Alright, but p… promise me… take c… care of Sh… Shi… Shiori,” Shiori’s mom asked. “We will at all ends.” Kagashe said.

Hours later, the demons were all gone, and Kagashe told Shiori about Naraku. “You really have two choices. One: you can help kill him, or two: you can come live at the village my parents will live at until Naraku is dead,” Kagashe said. “All things considered, I think I would rather kill Naraku myself, so I’ll join your group,” Shiori said, “Besides there is nothing left to protect here.”

Chapter 33

The Movies

As Inuyasha's team were fighting Menomaru, the moth demon, Kagashe's team headed to the village to help Lady Kaede get rid of the moths. As the day after the lunar month started, weeks after Toran and her siblings left, Shanaru came to Kagashe's team. Kagashe and her team were heading towards the village again, when they met. "Shanaru, this whole thing smells too much like fish," Kagashe said, "It may be that he really isn't dead." "Are you sure?" Inu asked. "Dead sure, Kagashe said, "Especially after what mom said last time about the pure mountain." Shanaru nodded, and headed towards the fork in the road, when she noticed a large snake heading in Kagashe's direction. Using what looked like the Tensaiga, she used the Dragon Strike to kill the snake without hurting Kagashe's team.

Days later Shiori asked, "Have you noticed that the last few nights have all had a full moon?" "It’s because of Kaguya," Kagashe said, "I'm sure Mr. Manure is dead to most everyone, but that is one of his traps to lure Kaguya out; there's no mistake." "How can you be so sure?" Sornada asked. "That's why Inu and I are returning home, not only for supplies but for information as well," Kagashe said.

Later, at the village Kagashe's team was waiting for Inu and Kagashe to return, Shiori gave Inu back the necklace, and said, "It seems the necklace holds power of its own." "It has a barrier of some sort, or so father thinks," Inu said, putting the necklace back on. "Anyways, what on earth happened here?" Kagashe asked. "Some sword was controlling your father," Sagi said, after a long silence. "I see... Sounga," Kagashe said. "Are you going after it?" Inu asked. "We've got our hands full of manure, besides between the two of them, the Sounga will disappear," Kagashe said.

Chapter 34

Double Problem

While Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were confronting Naraku, miles away from where Kagashe was; in Kagashe’s area, Kagashe and Inu caught the scent of bugs. A group of Naraku’s Saimyosho, was heading in the opposite direction than where Naraku was at. Shiori got up, and said, “Ill get them.” Shiori pulled out a strange sword recently given to her by Totosai. “Wait,” Kagashe said. Shiori looked at Kagashe and asked, “What is it?” “They are probably heading back to Naraku. Let’s go,” Kagashe said. Shiori put up her sword, and they all followed the bugs.

Moments later, Inu noticed the look on Kagashe’s face had changed, but didn’t say anything. Kagon asked, “Kagashe, what’s wrong?” “This place is starting to smell of blood and lynx,” Kagashe said. Kagon stared at Kagashe while running. “This is very close to Bunza’s tribe. I don’t like this,” Kagashe said.

Suddenly Kagashe noticed something in the forest ahead. “In the forest now,” Kagashe yelled, grabbing Kagon, as twenty demon beams barely missed the team, as they vanished into the forest. “Oh this is just great. It was both a distraction and a trap…” Kagashe started to say but was interrupted by a yell deep in the forest. “Come on, they need help,” Inu said. Everyone headed deeper into the forest; Kagashe and her team had their weapons ready, when they saw Bunza’s tribe, which was under demon attack. As Kagashe’s team killed the attacking demons, Kagashe noticed that Bunza was near his father, who was badly injured. Bunza looked at Kagashe’s, team, and Kagashe, Inu, and Kagon looked at each other, and Kagashe said, “Hold tight.” Kagashe put down her green backpack, and pulled out the first aid kit.

Later, Bunza asked, “Why do you two look like Inuyasha?” “We’re his kids from the future,” Kagashe said, “But Bunza, listen it seems that this area is no longer safe. You all need to find a safer place.” “I agree,” Bunza’s father said. “Alright be careful and if you run into anyone claiming to be Kagewaki Hitomi, kill it. That is Naraku, a very evil half demon, who our parents’ team and a lot of others want dead. Do not trust any of his incarnations, except Kagura, she’ll be useful to ask about Naraku’s weaknesses,” Kagashe said. “Alright, but are you a half-demon?” Bunza asked. “No Inu and I are ¼ demons, our father was a ½ demon,” Kagashe said, “Surely you noticed.” “No, not really, but it makes sense,” Bunza said. “We’d best go,” Bunza’s father said. “Oh, right,” Bunza said, “Thanks for the help.” “Alright bye,” Kagashe said, and Bunza’s tribe left. The tribe left, Kagashe said, “Come on, let’s head back to the village.” They went back in the direction in which they came from, but they noticed that all the demons were gone and dead, which had tried to attack earlier. The demons looked like a whip had killed them.

Chapter 35

Kagashe’s Barrier & A Future Monk

The next day, Kagashe’s team had made their way to Naraku’s castle, thanks to Hachi, whom they ran into on their way. Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku were standing where the fight took place, when Kagashe’s team appeared. “What are you doing here?” Inuyasha asked. “That’s…” Inu started to say. “Inu, Heel boy!” Kagashe said. CRASH! Inu crashed face-first to the ground. “We’ve already told you that we’re looking for a piece of spider manure,” Kagashe said, “He’s been here but is gone now, we’d best go.”

Inu got up, and followed the team. “Hey sister, I thought you told me that you would go easy on me,” Inu said. “Do you have any idea what would have happened, if I hadn’t?” Kagashe asked. “Alright,” Inu said, sighing.

After they left, Miroku asked, “I wonder if they are also after Naraku?” “Why would they be after Naraku?” Inuyasha asked. “Something Sango said a while back,” Miroku said, “Besides they said that they were after a spider just now.” “Big deal, let’s go to the village,” Inuyasha said. At that they left.

The next day, Kagashe and her team were high in some trees, out of the wind direction, and were listening to Ayame, Kagome, and Kouga, when Kagon tapped Kagashe. Kagashe quietly motioned for Kagon to keep quiet. Kagon saw what was ahead, and the hair demon appeared. The fight was starting and Inu looked at Kagashe, and Kagashe nodded. The hair demon was soon killed by Kouga, and Ayame left; Kagashe then motioned for everyone to follow.

After catching up with Ayame, who had stopped, when a branch snapped, Ayame asked, “Who are you? What do you want?” Kagashe put Kagon down, who was on her back. “Sorry if we scared you, but I’ve got an eerie feeling about the miasma you were talking about, Ayame,” Kagashe said, “I only hope it isn’t too much of a problem.” “Are you also after this Naraku demon?” Ayame asked. “Yes, we are,” Kagashe said. “I see, well we’ll be careful,” Ayame said, “You’re a half-demon aren’t you?” “1/4 actually,” Kagashe said, “From the future.” Ayame blinked and said, “Oh, sorry.” “Don’t worry about it, we get that a lot from everyone, anyways good luck,” Kagashe said.

Later, Kagashe’s team was fighting a strange ogre-head, when another demon that was watching, behind everyone, vanished. Suddenly a red priestess walked up. Inu yelled, “Kagashe look out behind you.” Kagashe turned, and some subjection beads were thrown at her. As the beads came within five inches of Kagashe they bounced off a pure barrier that appeared around Kagashe out of nowhere. “It seems you also have spiritual powers,” Inu said. “So it seems,” Kagashe said. The priestess collapsed, and the ogre-head was killed by Kaloga; a bunch of Saimyosho took out the shard, that was embedded in the ogre-head. The bugs then went far up and vanished.

Just as Kagashe’s team approached the priestess, which had died, a sixteen year old boy walked up. “Hello, I saw what happened, and I thank you for freeing her spirit,” the boy said. The boy had a monk’s outfit on, and some prayer beads on his hand; Kagashe stood up. “You’re a priestess, aren’t you?” the monk said. “Partially,” Kagashe said, “We’d best give this priestess a proper burial.” “Oh, right, and I only see one human among you,” the monk said. Kagashe picked up the priestess, and Inu said, we’re all human to a certain extent.”

Later, after the monk took them to the priestess’ village, he told them that his name was Migo, and he was somehow pulled into this time from twenty-nine years after Naraku was killed. After Migo told them this information, Kagashe blinked, and suddenly realized who he was, and asked, “Migo, you’re… a… a… Miroku descendant, aren’t you?” “Oh you noticed the beads, did you?” Migo asked. “No, your story,” Kagashe said. We’re after Naraku to stab the heart, but he has disappeared,” Inu said. “I guess you realize I’m after Naraku as well,” Migo said. “You’re welcome to join us,” Kagashe said. Migo decided to join Inu and Kagashe, in the hunt for Naraku.

Chapter 36

Misunderstanding

Days later, Kagashe was in a forest with Inu, not far from the group, when out of nowhere Kenyo jumped on top of Kagashe. Kagon just happened to be coming in at that point and misunderstanding the situation, left. “Get off, Kenyo,” Kagashe said, calmly. Kenyo didn’t move, and a frustrated Kagashe yelled, “I SAID, GET OFF!” Slap!

An hour later, Kagashe came out of the forest, covered in berries, which she had dropped when Kenyo jumped her; she gave the berry bucket to Migo. Kagashe grabbed Inu roughly by the sleeve and said, “I trust you will all come to the village once Kagon comes back.” Everyone nodded, and Hachi, who had been nearby transformed into his worm-like form; Kagashe and Inu left with him.

Once at the village, Kagashe and Inu went to the well and jumped in. Inuyasha and Kagome were in the living room, when Kagashe and Inu came in. Kagashe let go of Inu and went upstairs. “Hello, Inu, where’d Kagashe go?” Inuyasha asked. Before Inu could respond, “SLAM!” the bedroom door upstairs slammed. “I wouldn’t talk to her at the moment, I mean after what happened,” Inu said, noticing the look on his mom’s face. “So, what happened,” Kagome asked.

Inu sighed and told them the story. “So this Kenyo jumped her?” Inuyasha asked. “Yes, and Kagon arrived just in time to misunderstand the situation,” Inu said. Inuyasha and Kagome looked at each other and Kagome asked, “Inu what about Naraku?” “We found his castle abandoned the other day, but he wasn’t there," Inu said, “Why?” “Just as I thought, Naraku is headed north,” towards the Ox-tiger, I believe, right?” Kagome asked Inuyasha.

Inuyasha nodded, and Jii-Chan came into the doorway, with a necklace with diamonds around it. “Jii-Chan said, “Kagome… Ahem… This will…” Inuyasha took the necklace out of his hand and Kagome asked, “What is it?”

“I always wondered where it came from,” Inuyasha said. Jii-Chan was staring in shock and then said, “Impossible, that… that doesn’t work on anyone with demon powers.” Inuyasha turned and said, “Oh, it works, just not in the way you planned.” Inu asked, “What do you mean, father?” “You’ll see,” Kagome said, As she figured out what was going on. “How can it work if you’re still alive and standing here?” Jii-Chan asked. “Rrr…” Inuyasha growled. “Inuyasha,” Kagome said. Inuyasha turned to her, and his expression quickly changed, and said, “Ka… Kagome… d… don’t…” “Sit boy!” KAGOME said. Crash! Inuyasha fell face first to the floor.

Chapter 37

The Location Of Naraku

It has been two days, and in the village in the feudal era, Sornada yelled, “YOU GET TO HER WORLD, AND TALK WITH HER, OTHERWISE NARAKU WILL NOT BE KILLED!” “But… she…”Kagon started. Quit making excuses, AND GET DOWN THERE!” Flufly said, starting to yell. “Alright you two, just quit yelling at me,” Kagon said.

Kagon headed down to the well, and jumped in. Inu was standing in the doorway, when Kagon walked up. “So why is she angry at me?” Kagon asked, after Inu told him not to bother Kagashe, because she was angry at him. “Because, you misunderstood the situation,” Inu said, not looking at Kagon. “I understand perfectly, she chose that mud priest over me,” Kagon said.

“Oh, that’s right; you missed the… uh… dramatic conclusion.” “Huh?” Kagon asked. “Next time, instead of reading eyes, read feelings,” Inu said. Kagon stood thunderstruck for a second, and asked, “She hit him? Why didn’t she tell me?” “She shouldn’t have to,” Inu said. Kagon walked past Inu and headed upstairs, to the bedroom.

Three hours later, Kagashe was packing the green backpack, when Inu came in. “We need to go northeast, to find the pure mountain, “Inu said. “Huh?! How do you know?” Kagashe asked. “Mom told me that Naraku was heading for the Ox-Tiger, near the pure mountain,” Inu said.

Kagome came into the room, and handed Kagashe the diamond necklace. “Why do you give this to me?” Kagashe asked. “It has special powers and I’m going to have to request you leave the shards, given by Sango’s father to you here, until you return,” Kagome said. Realizing her reasoning, Kagashe took the necklace, and gave Kagome the bag of shards.

Once back with the group, Kagashe said, "I knew something was up, when Ayame arrived and this explains it.” “What do you mean?” Sornada asked. “The strange miasma had to be Naraku,” Kagashe said. “We go north then?” Kagon asked. “Yes,” Kagashe said, and everyone went north, after saying goodbye to Kaede.

Chapter 38

The Gold Power

Days later, a giant turtle appeared in a lake, and Kagashe said, “Stand back.” The turtle said, “Now that that half-demon is dead, I’m free to kill as I please.” “Half-demon?” Inu asked. “Its talking about Izumo, or Guoh,” Kagashe said, “Its got a fake jewel.” Kagashe pulled out the Tetsaiga, and it turned gold. A golden aura surrounded the tip, and a blue arrow came out of the aura, after Kagashe brought down the Tetsaiga, destroying the turtle, starting at the shell.

Suddenly Myoga appeared on a cat, hopped off, and onto Kagashe’s shoulder. “Mistress Kagashe, very impressive,” Myoga said, “But that technique can also be used as a barrier as well.” “You have got to be kidding,” Kaloga said. “Nope,” Myoga said.

Meanwhile, farther north, Inuyasha’s team had met up with Ayame, and the elder. “I wonder where that group is?” Ayame asked. “Group?” Shippo asked. “Yes the leader warned me to be careful, because she had a bad feeling about the miasma,” Ayame said. “Who was she? What did she look like?” Shippo asked. “I don’t know her name, but she was a quarter-demon, with long silver hair,” Ayame said. “Sounds like Kagashe,” Kagome said. “Why do you ask about her?” Sango asked.

“She said she wanted to kill Naraku,” Ayame said, “I don’t know why, but that was what she said.” “So, she’ll be heading in this direction as well,” Kagome said. “Yes, I suppose so,” Ayame said.

“So I was right after all,” Miroku said. “About what?” Sango asked. “I suspected she was after Naraku, especially after her arrival at the castle,” Miroku said. “Oh, I see,” Sango said.

Chapter 39

The Pure Mountain

Days later, Kagashe’s team reached Ayame’s group, who told Kagashe’s group what had happened. “I see; Myoga, find a bird, and head north,” Kagashe said, “Father is going to need your assistance.” “Alright, bye,” Myoga said. Myoga grabbed a ride from a nearby crow, and the crow flew north.

Days later, Kagashe’s team arrived at the base of Mount Hakurei, and found Kagome, Kouga, Ginta, and Hakakaku sitting there. The demons turned and Kagashe asked, “Where is he?” “Naraku somehow got inside the pure barrier,” Kagome said. “That’s not what I’m asking!” Kagashe said, trying to stay calm. “What are you asking?” Kagome asked. “Where is fa... I mean Inuyasha?” “Inuyasha went to find the monk and that girl, who are inside the barrier,” Kouga said.

“What?! Oh, great,” Kagashe said, exasperated. “What is it?” Kagome asked. “Everyone, stay here with these wolves, I’ve got to get him the necklace, before he gets killed by Jakotsu or Renkotsu,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean?” Kagome asked. “He won’t be purified, but it’ll be like the New Moon,” Kagashe said.

Kagome gasped, and then asked, “How do you expect to get by?” “I’m part priestess; it won’t affect me as badly,” Kagashe said, “And Kouga, your future lies with Ayame.”

“Feh! YOU THINK I’M GOING TO CHANGE MY MIND?” Kouga yelled. “You’ve got all the information you need to know,” Kagashe said, “All you need to know is how to use it. Anyways, I’ve got to go.” At that Kagashe went through the barrier, with the diamond necklace.

Chapter 40

The Curse

“Hey, Kouga, what did she mean?” Shippo asked. “Sorry I can’t say, I told her some time ago I’d keep quiet,” Kouga said. Kagome looked at Kouga for a second, and then at the mountain. “Say who are you anyway?” Shippo asked. After everyone introduced themselves, Shippo asked, “Migo, did you get the same curse as Miroku?” “You could say that I suppose,” Migo said. Kagashe had found the hole, after a while, and Inuyasha and Renkotsu were fighting. Kagashe still hadn’t reached a place where she could not go any farther, but Inuyasha had passed that point.

Flashback: “Kagashe, take it, it’ll restore some demon powers,” Inuyasha said. (End of Flashback.)

Just as Renkotsu had Inuyasha cornered, Kagashe, who was on the other side of the wall, said, “Psst!” As Renkotsu tried to kill Inuyasha, Inuyasha vanished in the crack in the wall. “Come on, it won’t be long before they come after you,” Kagashe said. The two of them headed further into the mountain. “Here, I’ll remove it later; for now you need your powers to be restored,” Kagashe said. Kagashe put the necklace on Inuyasha, and then left, after telling him that after Jakotsu it would be Bankotsu that would attack next. Inuyasha stood there and then noticed Jakotsu, and jumped. When he landed, he had returned to his normal state.

Hours later, the Band of 7 was no more, and everyone except Shanaru was inside the mountain, because the barrier had been lifted. Naraku was reforming another body inside the mountain, Shanaru was trying to get in the mountain. Kagashe and Inu were using their swords to make a barrier that surrounded the team, which protected them from the Wind Scar that was flying around. As Kagashe and Inu had their swords in a cone shape, to protect everyone, a very annoyed Kagashe asked, “How long will it take for her to notice?” “Patience is a virtue,” Migo said.

After Kagome finally noticed the shards from Kouga, Kagashe noticed that Naraku had turned his back to her and her team. Kagashe motioned to Inu something in the language of the deaf, and Inu nodded. Kouga was released from Naraku. Inu and Kagashe made two ok signs on both hands. They threw green triangles after pointing at Naraku with closed hands. Naraku was so busy collapsing the mountain, that he did not notice in any way the triangles that struck him. “Hey Naraku,” Kagashe said, after the triangles had stopped, “If you continue down the path of evil, you’ll have no power left.” “Naraku, I certainly agree with my sister,” Inu said. Naraku looked at them and left.

After Kikyo’s bow was discovered, Kagashe’s group walked up to Kagome and the rest of the team. “Shiori told me that you have a powerful technique that will kill any type of demon,” Kagome said. “Yes, and?” Kagashe asked. “Why didn’t you use it against Naraku?” Kagome asked. “If I had, Naraku would not be the only one killed. It would have killed each and every demon whether they be quarter, half, or full,” Kagashe said. “Hey Inuyasha…” Kagome started. Inuyasha was nowhere to be found. “Well at least Naraku won’t get any stronger, in fact from this point on he’ll only weaken,” Kagashe said. Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Kirara, and Shippo blinked. “Inu and I put a curse on him while he wasn’t looking,” Kagashe said.

Hours after Kouga’s team went south, Inuyasha returned, and Kagashe said, “I guess we’d best take the necklace back.” Inuyasha nodded, and Kagashe took the necklace of diamonds off him. “Well, we better go south, as well,” Kagashe said. At that they all headed south. “Say I wonder who the girl was that came?” Sango asked. No one answered.

Chapter 41

Time to Know

Part 1

Days later, Kagashe’s team were in a village, that was near Kaede’s village, when Kagashe and Inu noticed a bear. The bear had a shard in its forehead, and it was heading towards Kaede's village. Kagashe said, “Well there’s another shard.” Everyone got up, and went to stop the bear.

After the shard was removed, the bear told Kagashe’s team about the infant. He also told them that Naraku wanted the weakened Kagome killed. Kagashe looked at the bear with a worried expression on her face. “You’re sure the infant did this,” Kagashe asked. “Yes,” the bear said. “Alright, let’s get back to the village, and quickly,” Kagashe said. Inu thanked the bear, the bear smiled, and they left; the bear waved its paw, and then went home.

After they got to Kaede’s hut, Kagashe noticed Inuyasha and Kaede outside talking, and Inu asked, “Where is she?” “Kagome? She’s inside,” Kaede said. “Inu come with me, Kagon keep an eye on Migo, the rest of you, have fun,” Kagashe said. Everyone did as instructed; most of the demons went to sit down with Shippo; Kagashe and Inu went to see how Kagome was doing. Inside the hut, Kagome woke up and said, weakly, “Kagashe? Inu? What are you doing here?” “We came to see how you were doing,” Inu said, sitting down, “A bear with a shard told us about what happened.” The locket that Inu wore hung in front of Kagome. Kagashe sat down beside Inu, and Kagome, after sitting up, grabbed the locket. “Where did you get this?” Kagome asked. Inuyasha opened the flap, and came in. Inu looked at Kagashe, and Kagome repeated, slightly louder, “Where did you get this?” “I guess it’s time they know,” Kagashe said, “We can’t keep it a secret any longer.” “Know what?” Inuyasha asked. “The locket was given to us by our father. As was the cloak and sword,” Kagashe said. “Huh! What are you telling us?” Kagome asked. “I’m sure you noticed also that we look, act, and sound like the both of you,” Kagashe said. “Yeah?” Kagome asked. “What are you aiming at?” Inuyasha asked. “We look, act, and sound like you, because we are your future kids,” Kagashe said. “Well, that would explain a lot,” Miroku said, coming through the doorway, and moving the flap.

“So who was the girl that came by at Mount Hakurei?” Kagome asked, recovering from the shock. “Oh, she is our cousin, also from the future. Her name is Shanaru,” Kagashe said. “So there are two families that have another time?” Kagome asked. “Actually there are three. Migo is also from a future time,” Kagashe said, but unlike the two of us, he spent some time in his real time; Shanaru didn’t get to spend to much time in her time, but longer than we did.” “So who is Migo?” Miroku asked. “You mean you haven’t noticed?” Inu asked. Miroku looked at the two of them, and Kagashe said, “He is yours and Sango’s son.” Miroku stepped back, and Kagashe continued, “He said he is the oldest of six.” “Anyways, we need to get the shards left in the modern era,” Inu said. “How true. We’ll see you in a bit,” Kagashe said, getting up. “Wait, where did you get the necklace,” Inuyasha asked. “You wouldn’t believe me even if I told you. It doesn’t work like it was supposed to be planned,” Kagashe said. “Then why…” Inuyasha started to ask. “You were the one who told us to take it,” Kagashe interrupted. At that Kagashe and Inu left to go to the well. “I’ll leave you two alone,” Miroku said.

After leaving, Miroku went to find Sango who was talking to Migo. ‘So your twin sisters are called Sanku and Sang?” Sango asked. “Yes,” Migo said, “And then there’s Mirogo and Kalog, who are also twins.” “Hello, Miroku,” Sango said. “Did he tell you?” Miroku asked. “Tell me what?” Sango asked. “Sango, he is one of our future kids,” Miroku said. Sango said, “K….K…K…kids?” “I’ll leave you two for now,” Migo said, leaving to talk to Shippo, who was playing with a grasshopper.

Chapter 42

Time to Know

Part 2

Hours later, Inuyasha and Kagome were near a tree, and Miroku and Sango were with Migo, when Kagashe and Inu returned. “Oh, hello Kagashe,” Kagome said, “Hello Inu!” “Here,” Kagashe said giving Kagome the shards. “Where exactly did you get the shards anyway?” Kagome asked. “Sango’s father gave them to me to give to you long ago,” Kagashe said. “So that’s it,” Shippo said, approaching.

“So why don’t you all join us?” Kagome asked. “We will when the time comes, but first both you and your brother need to master the technique’s inside your swords. We can not interfere in the matter. You should know that there is more to both swords than has been revealed thus far,” Kagashe said. “So there are more techniques to be learned?” Kagome asked. “Yes, three for the Tetsaiga, and the Tensaiga has a deeper purpose than being a protector for either of you,” Kagashe said. “So does that mean that Inuyasha will eventually own both swords?” Kagome asked. “It depends on how you look at it, but I can’t say, yet. Anyways I do have a request to ask,” Kagashe said. Inuyasha and Kagome looked at each other, and Inuyasha asked, “Yeah, what?” “Kagura is an important key to the future, so don’t kill her,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean?” Kagome asked. Kagashe sighed, and said, “I can’t say, because if I did someone else would have more problems than she does right now. We don’t know whether Naraku is watching, so we keep it low-spoken.” “I don’t sense any Saimyosho,” Inuyasha said. “Naraku has more watchers than just the Saimyosho, like Kanna and her mirror,” Kagashe said. “Oh, I see,” Kagome said. “We’d best go back to Kaede’s hut,” Kagashe said.

The next day, Kagome asked, “You’ve known this all along, haven’t you, Kaede?” “Aye! All except Migo’s part,” Kaede said. “So how far has Shanaru gotten with her sword, the Tensaiga?” Inuyasha asked. “She has mastered the Dragon Strike,” Kagashe said, that much I do know.” “What do you mean? Don’t you know?” Kagome asked. “I was out of commission for twenty-five years, in a forest farther North than mount Hakerei. I didn’t meet Shanaru until Inu started to come here, and that was around the time that Shanaru got trapped in this time,” Kagashe explained. “So you all get along?” Kagome asked, shocked. “Yes, now we’ve really got to get going; we’ll see you all again, and good luck,” Kagashe said. After Kagashe’s team was on the other side of the hill, Kagashe said, “We go south, I heard Kouga’s team picked up a lead at Mount Hakerai.” At that, they all went south.

Chapter 43

The Mystery Sword

While Inuyasha’s team were fighting Salamanders, Sango was angry at Miroku, and in another area, Shanaru came forward from the road. “Huh?” Kagashe said, noticing the Tetsaiga was not shaking. “What is it?” Inu asked. “If that’s the Tensaiga, then shouldn’t both the Tetsaiga and the Tensaiga be rattling?” Kagashe asked. “You know you’re right,” Inu said. “So, you don’t know either?” Shanaru asked. Kagashe looked at Shanaru, and shook her head no. “Go to Totosai’s, he’s the only one who might give you an answer,” a cold voice said. Kagashe’s team turned around, and were face to face with Sesshomaru and his team. “Now move,” Sesshomaru said. “You heard him, get out of their way,” Kagashe said. Everyone moved to let the group pass by, and after they left, Shanaru stared at the trail. “Does that mean he knows who Shanaru is?” Flufly asked. “Possibly,” Shanaru said. “Well, Totosai’s is more or less on the way south, so let’s stop in. what do you say, Shanaru?” Kagashe asked. Shanaru nodded.

Days later, they arrived at Totosai’s, and after everything was explained, Totosai said, “Shanaru, let me see your sword.” Shanaru handed Totosai the sword. “Totosai said, “There is no doubt in my mind that this is a fang, but…” “But what?” Inu asked. “…but it is in no way the Tensaiga. I have no idea what fang this is, but I’m sure ther is a reason it was given to you,” Totosai said. Kagashe looked at Shanaru, who nodded, and after a short goodbye, they all left.

Chapter 44

An Old Experience

Some time after they left Totosai’s, Kagashe’s team found Inuyasha’s team near a place where a nun’s body vanished. “What happened here?” Inu asked. “It looks like demons were here,” Kagashe said. A nun that had been nearby, asked, “Demons? I didn’t see anything like that.” “You wouldn’t, no one can, even priestesses,” Kagashe said, “Only the one that summoned them could have possibly seen them.” “Say what?!” Inuyasha asked.

“What do you know?” Kagome asked. “I know that whoever vanished is the one that summoned the demons,” Kagashe said. “How is that possible?” a nun asked. The lady must have had one or both, regret or desperation, and didn’t want to die yet,” Kagashe said. “So you’ve encountered something similar to this before?” Sango asked. “Yes, 27 years ago, there was a priestess, who gave her soul to demons, because she wanted to be with Kenyo,” Kagashe said. “Kenyo was the name of the priest that died 25 years ago, was he not?” Sango asked. “Yes he was,” Kagashe said, “We did what we could to save her, but in the end, Kenyo and I had to combine our powers to kill her. Of course back then all I had learned was the Wind Scar.” “You never did say, why isn’t this Kenyo still around?” Kagome asked. “Well, he sort of is, but I guess what you’re asking is what Sango probably already knows. You see Kenyo and I were forced to leave Kaede’s village, because of Naraku; we had finally found a village that looked like it supported partial demons, but I was waiting on a hill for Kenyo, but Kenyo was put through the worst probably,” Kagashe said, “It was because of Naraku, that Kenyo died, and then Naraku attacked me using a disguise.”

“When did you figure it out?” Shippo asked. “Later that day, I was in a forest, with a crystal given to us; the crystal had blood on it, and I really wasn’t thinking very straight. I didn’t realize the truth until it was too late,” Kagashe said. “Hey, Inuyasha, is it just me, or does this sound similar to when Kikyo sealed you?” Kagome asked. “That’s correct it’s exactly like that,” Kagashe said, who had heard what her mom had said.

As the nun’s had all left, by this time, Miroku asked, “So, where was this village?” “Very far northeast. Farther than both Mount Hakerai and the Ox-Tiger,” Kagashe said, “Anyways, come on everyone let’s go.” Kagashe said that last part fuming with fire surrounding her. Shippo hid behind Inuyasha and Kagome, and Kagashe’s team left. “Is that what happened?” Shiori asked Inu. “Yes, we don’t bring it up, because it infuriates her,” Inu said, “You saw her anger.” “So she’s still ticked off at Naraku, after all this time,” Sornada said, thinking out loud.

Chapter 45

The Seer

A few days after Sara, the nun who disappeared, was killed, a large pink baboon landed in front of Kagashe’s group. “What is this?” Kagashe asked, raising an eyebrow. The baboon said, “Kagashe, right? My name is Babb-Bing-La.” Yeah, and?” Kagashe asked, annoyed. Kagashe, Inu, and Kagon grabbed their weapons, and prepared for an attack. “Whoa! Whoa! I didn’t come for a fight. I came on Muby’s orders to bring you all to his cave,” Babb-Bing-La said. “And who is Muby?” Kagashe asked. “Muby is a sight-seer, or someone who can see what happened, or will happen, whichever the case, in the future,” Babb-Bing-La said. Shanaru came down the road with her demons at this point. “Big deal,” Kagashe said. Babb-Bing-La said, “Muby may be able to tell you all, the secret of the swords, that Totosai created.” Kagashe looked at him, and Shanaru said, “Kagashe, we’re going to Muby’s.” Kagashe sighed and said, “Very well, but let’s not stay too long. I fear Naraku is plotting something.”

Hours later, Kagashe and her team arrived at a stone house, surrounded by a pukey green river, with a bridge, like that of a castle. There was a bell high above, and Babb-Bing-La pulled the string, making it dong. The bridge fell, and Babb-Bing-La went inside the gate and into the cave, followed by the group. Shanaru motioned for the demons following to stay outside.

When everyone reached the end of the cave, they expected to see a large creature, but instead, they saw an eight year old owl demon sitting near a fire. The demon had white feathery wings coming from his arms, and black eyes with silver hair. “This is Muby?” Kagashe asked. “Yes,” Babb-Bing-La said, “He is the son of Flugy.” “So, that explains why you know about the swords,” Inu said, noticing that Myoga was sitting on a pebble next to a bird. “So be it. What can you tell us about the swords?” Kagashe asked.

Chapter 46

The Dissolver & The True Reason

Muby said, “I can tell that both Inu’s sword, and Shanaru’s were created by Totosai.” “But why didn’t Totosai recognize them?” Inu asked. “He probably hasn’t made them yet,” Shanaru said. “Correct,” Babb-Bing-La said. “It looks to me like the swords were forged from two fangs, caused by a pact between two brothers,” Muby said. “What?” Kagashe said, shocked. “What?” Inu said, just as shocked. Shanaru didn’t say anything, but all could tell she was just as shocked as Kagashe and Inu. Kagashe grabbed Muby, and asked, “How is that possible?” “They become closer than they are now,” Muby said, “In fact the rivalry is dissolved, the day Naraku is destroyed.” Kagashe let go of Muby, and Inu said, “I never would have thought the sibling rivalry would dissolve.” “You wouldn’t. I knew that it did, but I didn’t know when. The thing is, is that I never would have expected a pact, between them,” Kagashe said.

“Oh, one more thing,” Muby said. “Yeah?” Kagashe said. “It isn’t the shards that cause any of you to pass through the well,” Muby said. “Then what does?” Kagashe asked. “Only spiritual power can pass through the well,” Muby said. “That might explain Kagashe, Inu, Kagome, and Kagon, but what about Inuyasha and Shanaru?” Kaloga asked. Shanaru pulled out a rock with spiritual power out of her pocket. “He has something spiritual,” Shanaru said. “Like what?” Inu asked. Kagashe looked at Inu, and then at Shanaru, and said, “It could only be one thing.” Migo looked at Kagashe. “The necklace is the only thing it could be,” Kagashe said, “Of course humans have to rely on feelings along with spiritual power, to pass through.” “Yeah, you’re right, I mean, I didn’t have a shard the first time I came here,” Inu said.

Chapter 47

The Argument

After Inuyasha’s team had finished up with a paper demon, they were heading back to the village, when Inuyasha, Shippo, and Kirara turned their heads to the right. “What is it?” Kagome asked. “Somebody’s arguing about where to go,” Shippo said. “The voice is too familiar. It’s Kagashe, and that boy,” Inuyasha said. A few miles from where Inuyasha’s group was, everyone in Kagashe’s group was watching the argument intensify.

Hours later, Inuyasha’s team showed up; Kagashe and Kagon were so busy yelling at each other, that they didn’t hear anyone yelling at them. “AND WHAT WILL YOU DO IF I DON’T GO YOUR WAY? USE A SUBJECTION NECKLACE? HUMPH! I’D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!” Kagashe yelled. “They can’t hear anything outside their own world, and this could very well go on for the rest of the day,” Inu said. “You can’t be serious,” Kagome said. “It’s happened several times, since I’ve known them,” Inu said. “Where’s her cousin when we need her?” Migo asked, thinking out loud.

All of a sudden, a whip of light appeared inches from where Kagashe and Kagon were arguing. Kagashe and Kagon looked at Shanaru, and Shanaru said, “I will decide where we go.” Neither Kagashe nor Kagon retorted, but Kagon noticed that there was a young 10 year old boy in a blue and white kimono sitting on one of the demons that had two heads. The boy had short black hair, and green eyes. “We are going north, until you two can get along, better,” Shanaru said. The group followed Shanaru quietly, and left a stupefied Inuyasha team standing in the road. “Uh… uh…” Inuyasha said. “Okay, why didn’t they argue with her?” Shippo asked. “From what I saw, Shanaru is more powerful, than Kagashe is,” Kagome said. “WHAT!? HOW COULD THAT BE THE REASON?” Inuyasha yelled. “BECAUSE I KNOW!” Kagome yelled back. “DON’T BE STUPID, KAGOME,” Inuyasha yelled. Miroku and Sango were watching the argument, and Sango said, “He’s digging his own grave again.” Shippo quickly got off of Inuyasha’s shoulder, and onto Miroku’s, as fast as his feet would carry him. “Stupid am I,” Kagome said. “Yeah, you are,” Inuyasha said, but suddenly got quiet. “Sit boy!” Kagome said. Crash! Inuyasha fell face first to the dirt. “Mumuyah,” Inuyasha mumbled, in the dirt. “Sit! Sit! Sit boy,” Kagome said. After Inuyasha was finally allowed to get up, the group went back to the village.

Chapter 48

The Activation & A Woman?

It has been five years since Hoshiyema was destroyed, along with the Naginata of Kenkon, by Kagome and Inuyasha, and Kagashe and Kagon have stopped arguing as badly. Kagashe’s team is waiting for Kagashe, Inu, and Kagon to return to the village; on the other side of the well, Kagashe and Kagon are standing near the doorway of the well house. Inu was talking to a fourteen year old girl with red hair, with a green school uniform on, similar to Kagome’s, but not exactly. “I hope this doesn’t mean what I have feared for the last year,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean? Inu doesn’t seem to want to quit now,” Kagon said. “No that’s not it. I’m afraid Inu might be following our father’s path, and if that happens, (shivers) I just don’t want to watch him go back and forth, when Liqiu is the one he’ll stop at,” Kagashe said. “It doesn’t seem like he is going that way,” Kagon said. “It may not seem like that now, but history has proven, if one child doesn’t get the curse of one parent the other one will,” Kagashe said. Inu, who heard them said, “Liqiu, you have fun in school, I’ll see you again.” The red hair nodded, and said, “Maybe I’ll come with you next time.” Inu nodded and left following Kagashe and Kagon. “I heard what you said,” Inu said, after they got out of the well. “Yeah, well let’s hope it isn’t as history has seen so far,” Kagashe said.

As the day went on the group came upon a village. The headman came out, as they passed by, and Migo saw him. “Suligi, have you heard any news?” Migo asked. “I have heard that after Hakudoshi’s demise, a woman with a spider mark riding a paper crane, has been releasing demons by the millions,” the headman said. “Spider mark?” Kagashe asked. Sornada said, “Naraku.” “It's going to do Naraku little good, because according to mom, the curse is about to take hold,” Kagashe said. “He must be more powerful than I thought,” Kikyo said, walking through the crowd. Kaloga said, “Aren’t you… I mean didn’t… didn’t Naraku kill you?” “I would be if not for Kagome,” Kikyo said. “Makes sense,” Inu said. “Are you Inu?”Kikyo asked. “Uh yes,” Inu answered. “Hmmm…” Kikyo said. “So Migo, where did you meet Suligi anyway?” Fing asked. “He was the one that found me in the cave,” Migo said. “The cave?” Kagashe asked. “Yes, Onigumo’s cave. Suligi was passing through, visiting his cousin at the time,” Migo said.

Chapter 49

The Demon Mountain

Later, inside the headman’s house, Suligi said, “Why don’t you all rest here tonight; you can go to Mount Kulafishi tomorrow.” “Kulafishi?” Inu asked. “Kulafishi is the legendary mountain that sealed demons in rocks 3,000 years ago, but they chose that life or death, if you want to call it that, until they could be of service to the one who unseals them,” Suligi said. “So Naraku will most likely be after the mountain as well,” Kornu said.

The next day, Kagashe’s team arrived at the mountain of demons, and saw that the guards were simply stone statues. The statues stood there, and one said, “Unless you are against the spider evil, you have no business here.” “How do you know of Naraku?” Kagashe asked. “So many legends of a spider coming out to kill every last thing that crosses his path, have spewed out. The thing is he is the reason the demons were sealed; they were sealed until the time came to kill him, and a priestess demon was chosen long ago,” another statue said. “We want him dead just as badly as them, then,” Kagashe said. “Very well,” the statue said, “The ring is the only thing that holds the spell. Break the barrier.”

Kagashe then pulled out her Tetsaiga, and it transformed to gold. Kagashe then hit the ring that was floating around the mountain; using the gold barrier, which she discovered during a training session with Shanaru, the barrier broke, destroying the ring. The millions of demons arose from the rocks on the mountain, and headed down to the base. The statues moved out of their way and one lizard demon, which had an indescribable brown color, said, “We are here to kill Naraku, so let’s go.” “Huh? How do you know his name?” Kagashe asked. “We overheard you talking,” the lizard said. “Oh I see, I guess you all follow us now, correct?” Kagashe asked. “Of course. Anything to kill Naraku,” a hammerhead said. Kagashe nodded, and Inu asked, “Why do they follow us?” “Inu heel boy!” Kagashe said.

As the beads lit up around Inu’s neck, everyone noticed, that Inu was not actually pulled to the ground, until three seconds later. “What? Kagon asked, “Kagashe what is going on?” “Hmmm… The change is starting to appear. Soon Liqiu will have complete control of the necklace,” Kagashe said. “What, are you kidding?” Inu asked, getting up. “Inu don’t get to excited, you’re in for a wild ride,” Kagashe said, “We’d best go pick up Liqiu for the rest of the journey.” The group followed Kagashe, demons included, back to the village. The demons were told to wait on the outskirts, when Shanaru showed up, with the boy and a few demons. “Oh if it isn’t your cousin,” Kagon said. “Kichiro, was it,” Fing asked. The boy nodded, and Shanaru said, “Go on to the village. I will make sure no one attacks these demons. Kagashe nodded, and her team followed her to the village.

Chapter 50

Kaloga’s and Sornada’s Battle

As the hours went by, Kaloga and Sornada were attacked by an alligator, while helping Kaede. Sornada yelled, “Kaede, Kaloga, get back to the hut.” Sagi and Nagi had heard the commotion of the demon, and yelled, “Kaloga, get over here. Kaede had already gotten at a safer distance, but was prepared to shoot the alligator. “Kaloga, get out of the demon’s way,” Sonili yelled. Sornada was right behind Kaloga, and Kaloga pulled out his whip. Sornada said, “Kaloga, save yourself. You can’t kill it by yourself.” “Neither can you, Sornada. I refuse to leave you,” Kaloga said, turning to look at the teenaged ½ demon girl. “Ka… Kaloga…” Sornada said, shocked a bit by the way the teenaged ½ demon boy looked at her. “Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I’ve never seen anything so pathetic. A ½ demon bird and a ½ demon beaver,” the alligator said. “Excuse us, but that isn’t funny,” Kaloga said. “YEAH WHAT’S WRONG WITH IT?!” Sornada yelled. Sornada pulled out her paddle and the two combined their powers, causing the alligator to lose balance, and sink into the river. “Oh great, where’s Kagashe or Inu with their barrier buster when we need them?” Sonili asked. Suddenly, an arrow with pure power, skimmed the top of the barrier around the alligator, destroying the barrier, and causing the death of the alligator. Kaede said, “That arrow looks like…”

Kagashe, Inu, Kagon, and Liqiu had returned at this point. “Why is Kenyo here?” Kagashe asked. “No telling, but it’s a good thing he showed up when he did,” Migo said. “Yeah, I see what you mean,” Kagashe said. Kenyo left and was followed by a large red soul collector.

Chapter 51

Enter Byakuya

“That was Kenyo? I thought yon boy died,” Kaede said. “He was resurrected a few days before Kikyo was, by Urasue,” Kagashe said. “I see, Kaede said, “And he wanders the earth.” “Yes, and I can’t do anything about it; I decided not to get involved. That is why I turned to the only person who can put his soul at peace,” Kagashe said. “Ye mean my sister Kikyo,” Kaede asked. “Yes, Kaede,” Kagashe said. “What?! When did this happen?” Kagon asked, alarmed. “It happened the day I absorbed the arrow,” Kagashe said.

After gathering everyone together, Kagashe’s team headed to where Shanaru was waiting, and the demons followed Kagashe’s team to a rock cavern. Kagashe stopped there, and Liqiu asked, “What’s wrong?” “I smell Naraku, which means it’s probably that woman,” Kagashe said. Suddenly a large snake appeared, and Kagashe said, “Grab someone next to you and form a circle, everyone.” Nobody questioned her, and once the circle was formed, a spiritual and demon barrier formed, something never done before. The large snake vanished, and then, what looked like a woman on a paper crane at first glance appeared. “What?! I thought that was supposed to be a woman,” Inu said. “So did I,” Kagashe said, “Alright, Byakuya, what does Naraku have up his sleeve this time?” “He wants you all dead,” the man on the crane said. “It’s your funeral,” Kagashe said, taking her hands off of Inu and Kagon. “What’s up?” Inu asked. “We need not fear this incarnation. Now everyone grab your weapons,” Kagashe said. Byakuya said, “You’re acting weird. What’s wrong don’t you want to kill me?” “Stick a sock in it,” Kagashe yelled.

At that moment, everyone fired at Byakuya, but a flock of demon geese got in the way. A Saimyosho appeared, buzzed in Byakuya’s ear, and he said, “Alright, caught yourself lucky this time.” Byakuya followed the Saimyosho east. “Should we follow?” Sornada asked. “No, we’re not,” Kagashe said. “WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY? HE’S HEADING TOWARDS FATHER,” Inu yelled. ‘SHUT-UP!” Kagashe yelled. “I am sure he can take care of himself,” Migo said. “We’ll go back to the village tomorrow, “Kagashe said. “Come on,” Kaloga said, to Sornada. Liqiu said, “Inu, you’re becoming more and more like your father, than Kagashe.” “What! I’m not that stubborn,” Inu retorted, with steam coming out his ears. “Heel boy!” Liqiu said. Crash! Inu fell face first to the ground. “Why you…” Inu said, after picking himself up, “What do you think you are…” “HEEL HEEL HEEL HEEL HEEL HEEL BOY!” Liqiu yelled. Inu crashed back to the dirt and into a crater, face first. Shiori said, “I get the feeling he never should have complained about who was controlling him.” “Well, he’s the one that asked for it. He should have known better than to go against all the Irish legends, that Liqiu came from,” Kagashe said. “Come on what’s your problem?!” Inu asked, picking up his head. “What’s my problem? WHAT’S MY PROBLEM? YOU ARE NOW…” Liqiu started to say, but was interrupted. “That’s enough Liqiu; we’ve got to get to safety tonight, and fast. The sun is setting,” Kagashe said. “Oh, alright,” Liqiu said.

Chapter 52

Byakuya’s Demise

The group found an abandoned house, where there were plenty of hills, and the demons were told to stay with Shanaru. Liqiu said, to Sornada, “Is it just me, or have those two been acting strange?” “This is normal for this time,” Sornada said. “What?! What could you possibly mean,” Liqiu yelled. Kaloga said, “Liqiu, calm down, you’ll find out soon enough.” “Alright, but why are we going to the village tomorrow?” Liqiu asked. “I don’t know, but I’m sure Kagashe has a good reason for it.” As the sun was setting, Kagashe and Inu reverted to their human forms.

Miles away, in Kaede’s village, Inuyasha’s team, were fighting off a huge army of demons, when Sesshomaru showed up. “What’s Sesshomaru doing here?” Shippo asked. “Sesshomaru huh? This is interesting. Did the weaker brother come to help,” Byakuya asked. Sesshomaru glared at Byakuya, and said, “So you are the foul stench Kagashe’s team fought.” “Very well,” Byakuya said. Sesshomaru pulled out his Tensaiga, and Byakuya asked, “What can an incomplete sword like that do?” “Incomplete?” Sesshomaru asked. “What didn’t you know?” Byakuya asked, “The Tensaiga is only a cast off part of the Tetsaiga, stolen from a demon Naraku killed recently.” “WHAT DOES IT MATTER?” Inuyasha yelled, “YOU’RE GOING TO DIE ANYWAY!” Sesshomaru punched Inuyasha to the ground, and said, “Leave, he is my prey!” “NOT HAPPENING YOU’RE THE ONE THAT’S GOING TO HAVE TO BACK DOWN!” Inuyasha yelled. Sesshomaru used the Meidou-Zangetsuha, against Byakuya, but it wasn’t a complete circle. “The Meidou didn’t work,” Kagome said, in shock. “When will you understand?” Byakuya asked, “That incomplete sword can’t kill me, it can’t make a complete circle, on its own, no matter how much training the owner has gone through.” Inuyasha got up, and stood next to Sesshomaru. As Inuyasha drew the Tetsaiga, the Tensaiga started to pulse. “Use it, something will happen,” Inuyasha said, interrupting his original thought.

As Sesshomaru stood there, Byakuya started cackling. Sesshomaru stared at Byakuya, and said, “Die!” He used a now complete Meidou circle, and destroyed Byakuya. As he was destroyed, Byakuya said, “I see… the Tetsaiga was… nearby.”

As the night had passed, Sesshomaru said, “Inuyasha, I don’t care what the connection is between you and the partial team, but I do want to know who that girl is that seems to show up, when the partial team is in trouble.” “Oh, you mean Shanaru?” Kagome asked. Sesshomaru looked at her, and then back at Inuyasha. “Shanaru is Kagashe’s cousin, and there seems to be a connection between them and Kagura. Kagashe, Inu, and Shanaru are from the future. And Shanaru is your daughter, but what the connection is between them and Kagura, no one knows,” Inuyasha said. “Yet they have not joined either group,” Sesshomaru said. “They said that they would, but only after we master our swords. Something about there is more to the Tensaiga, then has been revealed,” Kagome said. “They didn’t say what,” Shippo said. “I see,” Sesshomaru said, and at that he left.

“Did he come all this way to ask that?” Kagome asked. Some hours later, Kagashe’s team arrived at the village. Kagashe asked, “What in the world?” As Inuyasha and Miroku finished burying the rest of the demons, Kagome came out to greet them.

Chapter 53

The Mess

Later, after those demons that couldn’t be buried, were sent to the well, Kagashe asked, “So Byakuya was killed, when he came here?” “Yes, he was killed by your uncle,” Kagome said. “So I was right, Naraku is planning something,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean?” Shippo asked. “Yeah, why would he be planning something?” Kagome asked. “He was releasing lots of demons through Byakuya, because of his weakened powers, and now that he can’t get to the demon mountain demons, because they got released, Byakuya was of no further use, so he disposed of him,” Kagashe said. “Wait a second, what do you mean by weakened powers?” Inuyasha asked. “The curse is starting to take affect, because I sensed that Byakuya was not much of a challenge; it was hard to tell he was even here,” Kagashe said. “But, why did it take this long to start to affect him?” Sango asked. “Any normal demon or less wouldn’t have lasted three minutes, but Naraku must have been really powerful to last this long,” Liqiu said. “HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?” Inu steamed. “BECAUSE YOUR MOM TOLD ME!” Liqiu yelled. “Liqiu, calm down,” Inu said. Kagashe’s team started backing away from Inu at this point. “CALM DOWN! I AM CALM,” Liqiu yelled. “NO YOU’RE NOT, YOU’RE YELLING,” Inu yelled. “INU, YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT I KNOW!” Liqiu yelled. Inu stared blankly.

Kagashe said, “Best get as far away as possible.” Inuyasha’s team didn’t argue, and moved away from Inu and Liqiu. “WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLY KNOW?” Inu steamed, getting up. “INU,” Liqiu yelled. Inu backed up one step, and said, “Liqiu, d… don’t…” Liqiu yelled, “HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL BOY!” Inu crashed into a large crater right at the dirt, near the door, face first. “YOU IDIOT, DON’T THINK I DON’T KNOW,” Liqiu yelled, and at that Liqiu stormed out. Inuyasha and Kagome looked at each other, and Shippo asked, “What did he do?”

As everyone else was pondering, Kagashe was looking at the floor. Kagon asked, “Kagashe, what’s wrong?” “He had it coming, though I had no idea that Liqiu knew,” Kagashe said. “Huh?!” everyone else except the two siblings said. “How would you know anything about that?” Inu asked, sitting up. “I WAS THERE LAST NIGHT, AND UNLESS YOU WANT A DOUBLE SPELL, OR MORE, YOU BETTER STRAIGHTEN OUT THIS MESS THAT YOU CREATED,” Kagashe yelled, “NOW IF YOU’LL EXCUSE ME!” Kagashe got up and left to find Liqiu.

Chapter 54

Rin’s Rescue

In the hut, Inuyasha’s team looked at Inu, and then swiftly turned to glare at Inuyasha, except Kagome. “What?” Inuyasha asked, hiding behind Kagome. Everyone except Inu, Inuyasha, and Kagome, shook their heads.

Meanwhile, Kagashe had caught up with Liqiu, and Liqiu asked, through tears, “How can you put up with him?” “He’s my brother, and it’s no more than you want to be with him,” Kagashe said. “Huh?! Is it that obvious?” Liqiu asked. “It is to me,” Kagashe said, “I’ve seen you two together, and it’s obvious that he likes you too.” “But, then why was he talking to Mayumi-Yasu last night?” Liqiu asked, calming down. Kagashe sighed, and said, “It’s an inherited trait, and I’ve seen this coming for some time.” “What do you mean?” Liqiu asked. “We both inherited traits from our parents, I inherited mom’s smarts, and friendliness, but Inu has inherited father’s powers, and from the look of it, his two-timingness,” Kagashe said, “He doesn’t realize much at the moment, but Mayumi-Yasu will never pass through the well, according to mom.”

Meanwhile, Naraku was standing on a pointed cliff, with Kanna, and he said, “Ku Ku Ku Ku Ku! So there is a link, maybe I’ll let her go, and grant her wish. Kanna, get your sister.” Kanna left, and hours later, Kagura appeared before Naraku, with Kanna. “What is the meaning of this?” Kagura steamed. “You wanted to be free, did you not?” Naraku smirked. Kagura looked at him, with a strange look in her eye, trying to figure him out.

Days later, Sesshomaru, Jaken, Rin, and Ah-Un, were heading west, when a large number of demons appeared, and right near a cliff. As the battle started, Kagashe’s team were inside a tunnel, that lead to the cliff, and Kagashe said, “We’re just going to have to wait, till…” Kagashe stopped, and everyone heard an eerie, ear-piercing scream. Kagashe pulled out the Tetsaiga, but didn’t transform it, and gave Inu the sheave. “Listen, when I say, call the Tetsaiga,” Kagashe told Inu. “Gotcha,” Inu responded. Kagashe ran and jumped off the cave. Inu came to the end, with the Sheave in hand, open end aimed towards the outside.

As Kagashe fell, she was able to catch up with Rin, who was falling, and Jaken and Sesshomaru were busy with the oversized demons. Kagashe grabbed Rin with her free hand, and yelled, “NOW INU, NOW!” Inu yelled, “COME TETSAIGA!” As the sword reacted, Kagashe and Rin were pulled back to the cave. “Rin, you okay?” Kagashe asked. “Yeah, but… gasp!” Rin started to say, but stopped, when she noticed Kagashe’s ears, “You’re a demon.” “Don’t worry, you’ll be safe with us,” Kagon said. “Name’s Kagashe, and this is Inu, we’re Inuyasha’s and Kagome’s kids, from the future,” Kagashe said. “Oh, I see,” Rin said. At this point, Rin's stomach growled. Grumble! Grumble! “Here, take this. It’s called a sandwich, “Kagashe said, reaching into her bag, and pulling out a sandwich. Rin nodded, and took it. The demons were finally destroyed outside, and Jaken, Sesshomaru, and Ah-Un found the cave. Rin finished the sandwich, and left, getting on Ah-Un, after, a short thank-you and goodbye.

Chapter 55

Joining of the Swords

It has been a few months since Kagashe’s team rescued Rin, and a black hole was in the sky. Inuyasha’s team and Sesshomaru’s team, were standing with Inuyasha’s team; Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were the only ones who were not present. Everyone was watching the black hole, when Kagashe’s team arrived. “So its started,” Kagashe said. “What has?” Rin asked. “The true meaning of the swords, is about to be revealed,” Kagashe said. “You mean Inuyasha and Sesshomaru have finally learned the secret?” Kagome asked. “Oh, this is only part of it,” Kagashe said. “What do you mean only part? I’ll tell you something, Lord Sesshomaru has mastered his Tensaiga, and…” Jaken said, but stopped, when Kagashe interrupted him. “Jaken, he has not received his real sword, yet,” Kagashe said. “Then what has Sesshomaru been using?” Sango asked. “Just as the Wind Scar is an easy level for beginners, the Tensaiga is also. The real sword is yet to come,” Inu said, “Or at least that’s what Kagashe said.”

Hours later, just as Inuyasha’s Tetsaiga absorbed the Meidou, a gust of strong wind blew, and Kagura appeared. “Rin, is it, you’re not afraid of me anymore, I see,” Kagura said. Rin stood there, and Kagashe said, “There is something different here.” “I think I see what’s going on here,” Inu said. “Huh?” Shippo said. Sniff! Sniff! “You don’t smell like Naraku anymore,” Kagashe said. “So, what,” Inuyasha said, standing up, after falling to the ground. “Inuyasha, don’t get up,” Kagome said in a worried voice. “Kagura, when did you last see Naraku?” Kagashe asked. “I don’t know, quite awhile,” Kagura said, “And he doesn’t want me near him for some reason.” “Then how about this, did Naraku free you?” Kagashe asked. Kagura blinked, and looked at Sesshomaru, who had just landed, for a second. “Kagura, answer the question,” Sesshomaru said. Kagura nodded, and said, “Well, yes he did.” Kagashe and Inu turned to look at Inuyasha’s team, and Kagashe said, “Alright, what did you say?” “What’s it to you?” Inuyasha asked, looking in the other direction. “WE NEED TO KNOW, SO WE KNOW WHAT WE’RE UP AGAINST,” Kagashe yelled. “Humph!” Inuyasha said. “Rrrr…” Kagashe said. “HEY, IT’S NOT LIKE IT ISN’T OUR BUISNESS, REMEMBER HE’S AN ENEMY TO US ALL,” Inu yelled. “Kagashe, Inu, we simply told Sesshomaru about Shanaru and the link,” Kagome said. “I see, well that’s good news,” Kagashe said, exaggerating. “What do you mean?” Kagome asked. “Humph! You don’t want to know,” Kagashe said. “Tell us,” Inuyasha said. Kagashe looked at him, and Inuyasha yelled, “TELL US NOW!” “It could go either way, Naraku could one kill Kagura, or two use her against us now,” Kagashe said. “So I see that the Tensaiga and the Tetsaiga have become one,” Totosai said, scaring the humans. “Uncle Sesshomaru, there’s the Tensaiga, you’re going to need it,” Kagashe said. Sesshomaru looked at her and asked, “For what reason?” He then walked off, and Rin picked up the Tensaiga. “I’ll give it to him when he feels better,” Rin said, as she, Jaken, and Ah-Un followed Sesshomaru. “Kagura, maybe you would be better off staying with us for a time,” Kagashe said. “What?!” Inuyasha yelled. “Father, now is not the time that we should join. Uncle Sesshomaru needs to get his sword,” Kagashe said. “How long will that take?” Kagome asked. “Shouldn’t take too long, but first Naraku will release the evil of the jewel,” Kagashe said.

Chapter 56

Sesshomaru’s New Sword

A few weeks after the Meidou was absorbed, Naraku and the infant were in a brawl, which Naraku would eventually win, and in doing so, would absorb Onigumo’s heart once again. Kikyo and Kohaku were nearing a village, and Kikyo asked, “Kohaku you’re sure it’s okay.” “Yes, the shard no longer holds my life,” Kohaku said, “Not after Kagashe’s and Inu’s power that made the shard’s power fuse with my own.” “Very well, but keep it for now,” Kikyo said. Kohaku nodded and they continued to the village.

At the village, Suligi, Migo’s friend, told Kikyo, “The mountain of demons, was freed, and the freer is now in charge of the demons, but the freer isn’t Naraku. Also, there has been some rumbling in the sky, and people have been worried about it.” “I see, and you believe this has to do with Naraku?” Kikyo asked. “Yes, I mean after Bunza and his Lynx tribe came here, and saved the village from bugs, well…” Suligi said.

Meanwhile, Naraku had unleashed the evil of the sacred jewel, and it was roaming the land, trying to kill every living demon it could get it’s hands on, until it came face-to-face with Sesshomaru’s and Inuyasha’s team. The fight began, and the evil that looked like a combination between Hakadoshi and the two siblings, Juromaru and Kageromaru, was even a match for Sesshomaru in his dog form. As Inuyasha pulled out the Tetsaiga, he found the pockets of demon aura, and distracted the creature long enough for Sesshomaru to get out of the demon’s grip.

Once out of the demon’s grip, Sesshomaru reverted to his normal form, and as he was about to use his poison claws, something strange happened. The Tensaiga started to pulse, and suddenly disappeared; out of nowhere, Sesshomaru’s missing arm appeared, along with the new sword that Kagashe said, “He would soon own.” Totosai arrived, after Sesshomaru killed the creature he and Inuyasha had been fighting, and handed Sesshomaru a sheave. “It’s the sheave of Bakusaiga, and you’ve been carrying it with you all along,” Totosai explained. Kagashe’s team, plus Shanaru appeared, with her demons, and Kichiro.

Chapter 57

The Request

“It seems the time has come to join our families,” Shanaru said. Kagashe, Kagon, Inu, Liqiu, Shiori, Migo, Forfo, Sonili, Fing, Sagi, Nagi, Flugi, Kornu, Flufly, Sornada, Kaloga, and some demons walked over to Inuyasha’s group; Shanaru, Kichiro, the rest of the demons, Rin, Jaken, and Kagura followed Sesshomaru. “So, where do we go now?” Shippo asked. Thud! Inuyasha’s fist met Shippo’s head. “AFTER NARAKU!” Inuyasha yelled. “Inuyasha! Sit boy!” Kagome said. Crash! Inuyasha crashed face first to the ground. “Actually you two wanted us to return home, after we joined, Kagashe said. “Why?” Inuyasha asked. “Information! You said you’d have the final battle place,” Kagashe said. “Final battle?” Kagome asked. “Then let’s go visit Kaede,” Inuyasha said.

Days later, the Inuyasha army, arrived at Kaede’s village. “I figured I’d be seeing ye,” Kaede said. “What do you mean?” Kagome asked. “Some kids came by, and said they were looking for the crystal,” Kaede said. “What’s that?” Kagome asked. “The crystal was what Naraku used to trap Kenyo and I in the north village, which is farther north than even Mount Hakerai and the Ox-Tiger,” Kagashe said. “Say what?” Inuyasha asked. “But, what happened to it, I don’t know,” Kagashe said. “Ah… ah… ah-choo!” Kagon sneezed out half of the crystal. “What is that?” Shippo asked. “Did that thing just come out of Kagon?” Sonili asked. “It makes sense,” Kagashe said, “But where is the other half?” “Aye, that’s only half,” Kaede said. Kagon picked up the ½ crystal, which was instantly purified, and Kagashe said, “We should get to the well, Inu we might get the riddle solved as well.” “Huh! But what about us?” Liqiu asked. “Yeah, what gives?” Kagon asked. “Mom said that, “the two of us should be the only ones this time,” Kagashe said. “Oh,” Liqiu said, sighing. Kagashe and Inu headed towards the well, where Kagome would later go as well, and everyone else went to the village.

Chapter 58

The Long Trip

On the other side of the well, Kagashe and Inu went into the house, and Kagashe noticed Kagome sitting on a couch, sleeping next to their father. “You said you wanted to tell us where the final battle is,” Kagashe said, walking in, with Inu trailing. Inuyasha shook Kagome slightly, to wake her up. “What is it?” Kagome asked, sleepily. “It’s time,” Inuyasha said. “Oh, okay,” Kagome said, sitting up. Kagashe and Inu sat down; Kagome said, “The final battle will be at the last place that you saw Kenyo alive.” “Do you know anything about the crystal?” Inu asked. “Well, half is in Kagon; the other half is in the tree that you were sealed in,” Inuyasha said. “Kagura is the key to winning or losing, because of the information she has, but you need both halves of the crystal, to annihilate Naraku,” Kagome said. “Oh, and one more thing, the next time you return to this time, you won’t be back for at least 60 years, or so we figure, so your friends need to find a place to go,” Kagome said. “What about the two people that wander the earth?” Inu asked. “Kikyo’s and Kenyo’s souls will be put at peace, the second Kikyo’s final task is complete,” Inuyasha said. Kagashe said, “I see, so we need to get to the village that Kenyo and I were going to live at.” “Yes,” Kagome said.

A few days later, Kagashe and Inu had returned to the feudal era, and after Kagashe explained what they would have to do, Inuyasha said, “We’ll leave as soon as Kagome returns.” Kagome soon returned, and was told the situation. “We’re going north, again?” Kagome asked. “It’s going to be a long trip. Even longer than Ox-Tiger, and Mount Hakerai,” Kagashe said.

As the months passed that were filled with fights, everyone learned just how powerful Kagashe and Inu were, and that Inu was more powerful than Kagashe. Migo was told that to return to his time , he needed to return to the cave, after Naraku is destroyed.

Chapter 59

The Rivalry Collapse

As the Inuyasha army was still heading north, Seshomaru’s army of people appeared. “WHAT IS IT!” Inuyasha yelled. “Where’s Naraku?” Shanaru asked Kagashe. “At my village, north,” Kagashe said. “Your” village?” Inuyasha asked. “Yes, it was where Kenyo and I were going to live, but then…” Kagashe trailed off. “You mean you two were that close?” Kagon asked. “Uh huh,” Kagashe said. “Then… why… why don’t you ever chase after Kenyo?” Kagon asked. “That trait belongs to Inu, I’m more like mom,” Kagashe said, turning her head. “Oh, I see,” Kagon said, sighing. Shanaru said, “See you at the village.”

“Inuyasha, let’s forget the past,” Sesshomaru said. At that Seshomaru’s army left. “Who’s the boy?” Kagome asked. “Kichiro, Shanaru saved him, when we were in a battle, with a dark priestess, and Naraku,” Kagashe said, “The same day that Inu and I found out that we could combine our spiritual power. That’s why Naraku is afraid of us now. “He’s been trying to split us apart ever since.” “So, what exactly happened?” Kagome asked as the group continued to head north. “As we were fighting, a subjection necklace was aimed at Inu, but was covered in a sacred arrow’s power. I didn’t know that, and got in front of Inu, grabbing Inu’s shoulder. That was when our barriers merged into one,” Kagashe said. “Barriers?” Inuyasha asked. “Yes Inu has a barrier against sacred arrows and I have a barrier against subjection necklaces,” Kagashe said. “That’s interesting,” Kagome said. “The dark priestess is the only one, other than Kanna, that Naraku has left,” Kagashe said. “Dark priestess huh!” Inuyasha said, “Well, we’ll just cut down her and Naraku.”

Chapter 60

The Arrival

The Inuyasha army were at the hole where Mount Hakerai used to be, and Kagashe said, “We’ve just got another 1000 miles, just a few more villages.” “Yawn! Let’s rest, what do you say?” Kagome asked. “WHAT?! WE JUST RESTED A WHILE AGO!” Inuyasha yelled. “That’s for sure,” Inu said. “Inu! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL! HEEL BOY!” Liqiu yelled. Crash! Crash! Crash! Crash! Inu crashed face-first to the ground. “Liqiu…” Kagome started to say, but was interrupted by Kagashe. “Mom, Liqiu is Irish, best not to anger her,” Kagashe said. “Irish?” Inuyasha asked. “Yes, they’re the ones best known for their tempers, because they are worse than anyone’s,” Kagashe said. Inu sat up, and Inuyasha said, “Alright, how far is the next village?” “It’s not far, just two miles,” Kagashe said. “Then let’s go,” Inuyasha said. “We’ll have to stay there tonight. The sun will set when we get there,” Miroku said.

Later, everyone had made it to the village, and thanks to Miroku, they found out from the headman, that Naraku hadn’t made it, yet. “Are you sure he’s going to be at your village?” Inuyasha asked. “We must be early, meaning, he’s probably on his way,” Kagashe said. “I wonder if Aku, the dark priestess will be there?” Inu asked. “I don’t know, but if she’s there, she’s in trouble,” Kagashe said, “As are we.” “You people seem tired,” Kagome said. “We don’t usually get a place to stay, other than a forest, or an abandoned house of some sort,” Inu said. “Oh, I see,” Kagome said. Sornada and Kaloga, had fallen asleep in each other’s arms, by this time. Kagashe and Kagon smiled.

Days later, the Inuyasha army arrived at Kagashe’s village, and Kagome asked, “Is this the village?” “It looks just like my village,” Inuyasha said. “I know, we’ve got to get to the tree,” Kagashe said. “So, where’s Naraku?” Inuyasha asked. “Probably on his way,” Kagashe said. “What’s with Kagashe?” Sornada asked, Kaloga. “From the look the two of them had when they returned before we all teamed up, I’d say they had a bit of a spitfire, or argument, before they returned, and she’s probably thinking about that,” Kaloga said. Inuyasha looked at Kagashe, and Inu turned around, and said, “You don’t know how right you are.” Kaloga said, “What’d I say?”

Flashback: “We need to see you two directly after you join our team,” Kagome said. “Humph! For what reason?” Kagashe said, turning. “Look, if you want to destroy Naraku, you will return,” Inuyasha said, his temper rising. “What information could you possibly have?” Inu asked. “THE LOCATION OF THE FINAL BATTLE,” Inuyasha yelled. “Inuyasha, calm down,” Kagome said. Inuyasha looked at her, and calmed down, and said, “You will return, after your team joins, now this conversation is over.” “Rrrr… fine, come on Inu, let’s go. LIQIU! Kagon!” Kagashe said, steaming, and she and Inu stormed out, followed by Kagon and Liqiu. “They’ll get over it,” Kagome said, “They always do.” “I know,” Inuyasha said. End of Flashback.

As they made their way into the village, the headman came out. “Kagashe did you destroy Naraku yet?” the headman asked. “Uh… no, he’ll be coming here,” Kagashe said. “Makes sense, a priestess named Aku came here, looking for the crystal,” the headman said. “Did she get it?” Kagashe asked, worried. “Only Kenyo can see it now,” the headman said, “So, no.” “If that’s the case, then Kagon can see it, Kagashe said. “Huh?” the headman said. “Kagon is Kenyo’s reincarnation,” Kagashe said.

Chapter 61

Ayame’s Threat

Somewhere between the northern wolf-demon tribe cave, and Kaede’s village, Kouga and his group were heading west, when Ayame got in his way. “AYAME, MOVE! I’M LOOKING FOR NARAKU!” Kouga yelled. “Why?” Ayame asked. “BECAUSE I SAID SO,” Kouga yelled. “Tell me have you stopped chasing after Kagome?” Ayame asked. “THAT’S NONE OF YOUR CONCERN,” Kouga yelled. “I THINK IT IS,” Ayame yelled. “WHAT’S THAT SUPOSSED TO MEAN?” Kouga yelled. “LOOK KAGOME DOESN’T EVEN LIKE YOU, I SAW IT THE DAY WE MET,” Ayame yelled. “YOU MUST HAVE BEEN SEEING THINGS,” Kouga yelled. Ayame sighed and said, “Look, I don’t mean to be mean, but you’re coming north whether you want to or not.” “Huh! What’s that supposed to mean?” Kouga asked, backing up.

All of a sudden, the wolf demons that was in the bushes came out. “You see Kouga, the wolf demons in the east and west, have joined forces, to bring you up north. “I ain’t going; I told you long ago, that I’m going to kill Naraku first,” Kouga said. “You’re still looking for Naraku?” Ayame asked. “YEAH, WHY ELSE WOULD I BE HERE?” Kouga yelled. “Gee, I thought you were through, after all, you’re looking in the wrong place for Naraku,” Ayame said. “Wrong place?” Kouga asked, “And I suppose you’ve got a better idea.” “Yes, go north,” Ayame said, “Inuyasha’s and Sesshomaru’s army already headed in that direction.” “WHAT!? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?” Kouga yelled. “Several months ago,” Ayame said, laughing, “They said, that, “it would be the final battle, and it was a very far distance, north. Even farther than the ox-tiger and Mount Hakerai.” “What could possibly be north?” Kouga asked. “I don’t know, but Kagashe is the only one that has been to the village,” Ayame said. “If this is so, then we’ll go north,” Kouga said, and everyone went north.

Chapter 62

The Battle Begins

Back in the north village, Kagashe, Kagon, and the rest of the family, and Liqiu, were in the KYH Forest, and found the tree, which Kagashe had been pinned to. Kagon grabbed an arrow, out of his quiver, and stuck it in the hole. Kagon then pulled out the other half of the crystal, and put the half he had sneezed out next to the other half, after taking it off the arrow. The crystal magically fused together, and Kagon said, “I don’t get it; why was it split in two?” “Either you or Kenyo did it. Tell me, when you grabbed the arrow, did you feel anything unusual?” Kagashe asked. Kagon looked at Kagashe, and said, “Yeah, it was like a numb feeling, that transpired for a second.” “That must have been the crystal, because I felt it as well, that day,” Kagashe said. Suddenly, Kagashe, Kagome, Inu, Liqiu, and Kagon turned towards the village, seconds before Inuyasha did the same. “Naraku,” Inuyasha said, narrowing his eyes for a second.

The group of six, headed towards the village, where Naraku had placed a blob in the middle of town. Kagashe and Inu got in front of Kaloga and Sornada, who had fired at the blob. The blob copied the attack, and fired back, but Kagashe and Inu were connected by Kagashe’s hand on Inu’s shoulder. The beams bounced off the barrier, and hit the blob, destroying a piece of the blob. This happened several times, until the blob was destroyed.

After the blob was destroyed, a blazing fire coming from a corner, was aimed directly at Kagon, Inuyasha moved with Kagome, followed by Liqiu; Kagashe quickly left Inu, to get to Kagon, and took the blast, and neither one was even scratched. A priestess appeared, wearing black, and she said, “So you want to protect him.” “SHUT-UP” Kagashe yelled. “I don’t know how you survived, but even you have no power against the arrow,” the priestess said. “Says you, Aku,” Kagashe said, “Now be quiet while I lop off your head.” Kagashe pulled out her Tetsaiga, and it turned gold. “Stay behind me, no matter what, Kagon,” Kagashe said. As the arrow was fired, nobody noticed Naraku walking up to Inu.

After Kagashe’s Tetsaiga deflected the arrow back at the priestess, using the barrier, Kagome yelled, “Inu! Look out!” Kagashe and Inu turned. Kagashe yelled, “Inu throw out your hand.” As Inu threw out his hand, a tremendous blast, made Naraku back off. “Then mom was right, he does have spiritual powers,” Kagashe said.

Chapter 63

Naraku’s Destruction

As the battle was progressing, the crystal blinked. Inu pulled out the Teesi, and used the Flying Red Bird, which looked like the outline of a bird, but it was red, with fire in the middle. Naraku was unaffected by it, and after it hit,” Sesshomaru appeared, and said, “Naraku, your time has come. You can’t beat any of us now, not with that curse on you.” Naraku stared at him, and said, in question, “Curse?” “Naraku, Inu and I put a curse on you, that day at Mount Hakerai the day it was destroyed,” Kagashe said.

Naraku looked at her, and the expression on his face was true fear. “DRAGON SCALED!” Inuyasha yelled, using the Dragon Scaled Tetsaiga against Naraku, which had no effect. “Kukukukuku “I’ll just get rid of you, while you are leading your little partial team,” Naraku said. “So it worked,” Kagashe said. “AS IF I’LL LET YOU!” Inuyasha yelled, “DRAGON SCALED!” Inuyasha used the Dragon Scaled Tetsaiga, again, but this time, after it was fired, a slight steam started to come out of the Tetsaiga.

Kagashe looked at him, through the corner of her eye, and said, “Don’t worry, I can handle this.” Naraku suddenly grabbed Kagashe, and pulled her to him, but stopped when she got closer to him. “Your team looks to you as their leader, correct?” Naraku said. “Wrong, I’m only vice-leader,” Kagashe said, “The real leader is a ¾ demon.” Kagashe used the pure power to get loose, and in the process, she destroyed his arm, along with some vines. “Shoot, I missed it,” Kagashe said. “Just what is a ¾ demon?” Shippo asked. The child of a ½ demon and a full demon,” Inu said. “INU, SHUT-UP,” Kagashe yelled. “Oh, right,” Inu said.

Suddenly, the crystal, which was in a strong purification, jumped out of Kagon’s hands, and headed for Naraku. Kagura was watching from the sky, and used her Dance of the Dragon, to try and stop the crystal, but didn’t succeed. Naraku saw her and tried to fire at her, but Shanaru appeared, with a few hundred demons. Shanaru used her Whip of Light, to destroy the vines. Kagura flew to the ground, beside Sesshomaru. The crystal had reached Naraku, and had drilled through his foot.

Everyone was glaring at Naraku, and Inuyasha yelled, “Why you…” Inuyasha raised the Tetsaiga, and Kagashe said, “Wait, something’s happening.” “Like what,” Inuyasha asked. “Pure energy is forming around the crystal,” Kagashe said, “But where is it coming from?” Kagashe asked. Naraku had noticed it, and was desperately trying to remove the crystal, which was going up his leg, and heading for his shoulder. While he was busy, two arrows came out of nowhere, and hit Naraku’s heart, but didn’t kill him, because of a protective barrier, but it did make the crystal spread its pure power even faster.

Naraku looked up, and Shanaru landed behind him. “LET’S ALL AIM FOR THE HEART THAT’S IN HIS SHOULDER,” Kagashe yelled. “What’s the heart doing in his shoulder?” Shippo asked. “That’s where Onigumo is,” Kohaku asked running up to his sister. “K… Kohaku,” Sango said. Naraku looked up and asked, “Now, why are you still walking around?” “We made sure you couldn’t kill him, even if the shard is removed,” Inu said, “He’s got a fraction of our spiritual power.” “You didn’t notice the shard did you?” Inuyasha asked Kagome. “There isn’t one,” Kagome said. “Inuyasha, it’s time for everyone to put an end to this evil,” Kikyo said. Inuyasha turned and saw her.

Suddenly, Kenyo fell onto the ground, but simply got up off the ground. Kikyo turned, and said, “Kenyo, are you ready?” “Well and prepared to kill Naraku,” Kenyo said. “So that’s it,” Kagashe said, who was now next to Inu, “That’s why the crystal is being purified.” “So that’s what she meant,” Kagome said.

Flashback: “You never did say, why isn’t this Kenyo still around?” Kagome asked. “Well he sort of is,” Kagashe said. (End of Flashback.)

“EVERYONE, FIRE,” Inuyasha yelled. “Fire!” Shanaru said, “Fire,” Kenyo said. As everyone fired at Naraku, Naraku looked up, and was reduced to ashes, and Inuyasha dropped the Tetsaiga from the heat, afterwards.

Chapter 64

Kikyo’s Disappearance & The Spell

As everyone stood there, Kagashe asked, “Cousin, what was that attack you used against Naraku?” “It’s called the 7 strike-back,” a voice said, “It is called that, because it strikes back 7 times.” “Muby?” Inu asked. Kagashe turned and asked, “Just when, does the pact take place?” “In about 3 years,” Muby said. “Am I the only one confused?” Shippo asked. “What on earth are you two talking about?” Inuyasha yelled. “According to Muby, you and your brother will create a pact to protect Inu and Shanaru,” Kikyo said. Both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru , were speechless. “Now, if you’ll excuse me,” Kikyo said, “Walking out towards Kenyo. “Uh… Kikyo?” Inuyasha asked. “Her final task is about to be finished,” Inu said. “What?” Inuyasha asked.

Kikyo placed her hands on Kenyo, and white bubbles appeared around both of them; after a while, they disappeared, and floated up. “What just happened?” Kagome asked. “They’re souls have been put at peace,” Kagashe said, “Kenyo has been walking around since before Kikyo was resurrected; I turned to Kikyo for help, because she’s the only one who can possibly understand Kenyo, and put his soul at peace.” Shanaru walked up, and Kagashe said, “Okay! Okay! Mom best you remember this spell. “Uh… okay,” Kagome said. Kagashe put her hand on Shanaru’s eyes, after walking up to Shanaru, and undid the spell.

After Kagashe took off her hand, everyone noticed that Shanaru now had red eyes, along with the scent of the wind, that only demons can sense, surrounding her. “Well that makes sense,” Kagura said. “Cousin, it will be time to return, when we go back to the village; I just thought you should know,” Kagashe said. Shanaru nodded, and followed her parents, to find Rin, Jaken, and Ah-Un.

Chapter 65

Mayumi’s Lure

Kornu, Flufly, and Forfo, looked at Sagi, Nagi, and Flugi, and as if reading their minds, Sonili asked, “Why not stay here.” “What do you mean?” Miroku asked. Migo said, “After Kagashe, Inu, Liqiu, Kagon, and Shanaru go through the well, they won’t return for 71 years.” “Yeah, this looks like a nice village,” Kornu said. “You sure you want to stay here?” Shippo asked. “I’m sure they can handle anything, now,” Kagashe said. Shippo nodded, and Kagashe looked at Kaloga and Sornada, and Kaloga said, “We’ll go with everyone to the village.” “What about you, Shiori?” Inu asked. “You mentioned to mom, that you know of a village that I could live at,” Shiori said, “Where is it?” Kagashe smiled and said, “Kaloga and Sornada are going there. “It’s also where the well is.” “What about you?” Miroku asked, looking at Migo. “I must return to the cave,” Migo said. “The cave Sango asked. “Yes, Onigumo’s cave will take me back to my time,” Migo said.

Suddenly, Inuyasha turned, and a whirlwind appeared. “You’re too late, Kouga,” Kagashe said. “Huh?!” Kouga said, jumping out of the whirlwind, “You have got to be kidding.” “Joint effort,” Inu said. Kouga turned around, and said, “I’ll see you all later!” “Wait Kouga,” Ginta yelled, as he and Hakakaku tried to keep up with Kouga, who was now a “Speedy Gonzales” heading south.

“Did he just leave?” Sango asked. Miroku looked at her, and Kagashe said, “Well, well, he finally took the hint.” “Huh?!” Kagome asked, “What’s this eerie presence?” Inu walked up, and ran into the forest. “Not again,” Liqiu said, angered. Liqiu then chased after Inu. “YOU GET BACK HERE, YOU TWO-TIMING DEMON,” Liqiu yelled, in the forest. Kagashe sighed and said, “Here we go again!”

Chapter 66

Craziness

As the two went through the forest, with Inu in the lead, someone with snow white skin, with gold hair and black eyes had her back turned, and Inu walked up after stopping. “Liqiu got behind a large tree, and the woman with the speckled dress-like robe, said, “Inu, go home; you don’t belong here.” “May… Mayumi…” Inu said. “I said, “GO!” Mayumi said, turning around, with a knife, that stopped inches from Inu’s throat. “You do not truly love me, I can see that; Liqiu is yours. You must follow your heart,” Mayumi said, “Do it, unless you want blood to be spilt.” Inu kept quiet, and knowing that Mayumi meant it, backed away, and said, “Thank you!” Liqiu said, “I won’t be able to forget this.” “Liqiu let’s go,” Inu said, catching her scent. Liqiu followed Inu, and they went back to the group, that awaited them. Inuyasha picked up his sword that had cooled down, and put it back in it’s sheave.

Hours later, those that planned to leave, said goodbye to the 8 half-siblings and in the south a monk showed up in their path. “Are you the demons that came from the demon mountain?” the monk asked. The demons from the mountain approached the monk, and one said, “Your suspicions are true, we died 700 years ago.” “So, you preceived me; did you?” the monk said, “I shall free your souls from bondage, as I did with the other demons from the mountain.” The demons didn’t argue, and the monk put his staff in front of the demons; as the demons disappeared, bubbles went into the sky. The monk said, “I must return to the marriage den, where two wolves are to marry. They want me to keep it safe.

Chapter 67

The End

It has been several months, since Naraku was killed, and Kaede said, “I wonder if they made it?” “Hey, Kaede,” Inuyasha called from the road. Kaede looked up, and saw the army. After Sesshomaru’s army arrived, Kagura started to ask, “You said something about a curse, but I don’t get why…” “Kagura, you were never affected by it. All others were, but you weren’t,” Kagashe said, “Oh, that reminds me, I found this spirit rock at a village. Kagura, you’ll need it to complete the circle.” “Oh, is that how Shanaru came here?” Kagura asked. “Precisely,” Inu said. “It’s going to be strange not getting to see you two,” Kagome said. “Uh, 4 actually,” Inu said. “Liqiu and Kagon are coming with us,” Kagashe said, “Right!” “Of course,” Kagon said. “Why wouldn’t we?” Liqiu asked. “But I know what you mean,” Kagashe said, “We all do.” Kagon said, “I know what you mean.” “Muby is the only one, who could know anything about the time you three are going to,” Migo said. “You mean…” Kagashe started. “You came from a different time?” Kagon finished. “I came from the early years,” Migo said. “So then, how do you know so much?” Inu asked. “Muby!” Migo said. After a few hours, Kagashe, Kagon, Inu, and Liqiu went home, and Migo went to the cave that would send him home, and vanished, where the grass was now greener than the outside. Outside, Kagura said, “I guess Kanna died with Naraku, because he didn't free her.” “I'm sure she wanted you to live freely, too,” Shippo said. Kagura nodded, and looked at the sky.

It has been 71 years since that time that Kagashe was in the feudal era, and Kagashe, Kagon, Inu, and Liqiu returned, with Inuyasha and Kagome, who somehow missed the 10 year gap. Rin and Kohaku, now married, have a little girl named Chunhua. Sornada and Kaloga have a 10 year old ¼ demon boy, named Yong, who actually stood up to a priestess that had threatened to kill him. Shiori now protects the village that Suligi once protected, with the help of a young monk named, Fufu. Kichiro found a girl in Shiori’s village, and they have 2 kids. Kagashe and Kagon, made their decision to live together in Kaede's village, after returning the cloak to their father, but knowing they would inherit it along with the Tetsaiga, one day. Inu is waiting for Liqiu to graduate from High School, while he finishes home school as well. A lot of the ones that were around 71 years ago, have either died, or are about to, with the exception of the demons. The duty to protect the village was given to Kagome and Inuyasha, the day Kaede died, which is now about to be passed down to Inu and Liqiu. Kouga and Ayame have three demon kids, and Migo returned to his time, years before, and now he and his siblings have kids of their own;their kids are talking about building a Shrine, in their village, on a tall hill.
