thehotty : Ok, so I'm so sorry for it saying complete. Is so isn't.
Sesshoumaru : No, it isn't. We have much to discuss.
Kagome : So, here is the second chapter. Enjoy!

Kagome found Kyo and Kanade in the kitchen with Inu Yasha and Kikyou. He had been trying to answer questions that were flying faster then he could answer. He caught Kagome’s eyes and quieted down.
Kyo and Kanade whipped around to face their mother.
“I’m sorry mom. We didn’t know. We shouldn’t have accused you of anything,” Kanade started off.
Kagome rose her hand to stop them from continuing. “It’s alright. I should have told you when you got old enough to understand, but I didn’t. I fucked up. But that’s not why I’m here. What good is it to regret our actions? We both apologized and now we’ve moved on to find our lives are filled once again.”
She smiled as the two nodded, understanding what she had meant by her words.
“What does he want?” Inu Yasha asked.
Kagome sat down at the island with the group and sighed. She turned her attention to her children. “He’s not demanding I hand you tow over. He’s asking to get to know you guys. It’s up to you. It’s your life and I can’t dictate it.”
Kanade and Kyo watched their mother closely before facing each other. Kyo watched his sister for a minute for any doubt as she studied him for any stubbornness. After both were satisfied in what they found, they turned back to Kagome to find her searching for an answer.
Kyo nodded slowly. “We’ll allow it, but as soon as he fucks up, he’s gone. No contact what-so-ever. And I don’t care what any of you say. He’s hurt mom once, and I’ll be damned if he’ll do it again.”
Kanade nodded in agreement and Inu Yasha sighed.
“So we’ll be seeing more of him I guess,” Kikyou stated before leaving the table while dragging Inu Yasha behind her.
“Why don’t you go talk to him? Then we’ll all go to bed. It’s getting pretty late and I’ve got work in the morning,” Kanade offered.
Kagome nodded and stood up heading back to her bedroom to talk to Sesshoumaru. She had expected to find him either reading one of her books or scanning her notes on her desk. She was quite surprised to see him staring at her painting. Much more surprised to see that someone had actually done the unthinkable.
Deciding that she wouldn’t make a big deal about it, even though she wanted to, she sat on her bed and waited for him to notice her, knowing it wouldn’t be long now.
He slowly turned around to face her.
“Do you like it? I did it by memory. It still needs tweaking, but it is fine for the moment.” She stared at the painting, not daring to look at him. “You’re the first one to see it. I had planned to not show it to anyone originally. Still thinking about it.”
He watched her for any anger or embarrassment. Finding none, he looked back. “Why paint it if no one is going to see it?” he asked.
“A reminder to myself,” she answered blandly.
“Of what?” he tried again.
She looked at him as he turned to face her. “To strive for the best for my children, since you decided that you didn’t want to strive for me.”
She stood up and moved to the painting and covered it up before facing him.
Sesshoumaru watched her carefully while she did thin, noticing the longing in her eyes as she looked up at the painting before it completely vanished from sight by the alluring blackness.
“I noticed the desk. What is all of it?” he asked, deciding on changing the topic.
She turned to look at it. “Notes, studies. Nothing special. You want to see magnificent Wiccan work, then I’ve got a whole room dedicated to it. Kanade’s been studying for a few years now and Kyo’s starting to look into it, though I wish he’d dedicate himself to it like his sister and myself. But if wishes were fishes, you know,” she answered.
He glanced down at the woman. ‘Wiccan? My daughter is a Wiccan? She’s lost her tradition. Maybe my son will keep his,’ he thought.
“And the pictures?” he asked.
“Family and friends. I thought that’d be obvious,” she answered walking over to the photos.
She pointed to a woman wearing baggy Tripp (Hot Topic) pants and a hoody. Her hair was bright pink with black roots. “That’s Irene, my bestest.” She pointed to a red-headed woman wearing a pink and white striped shirt and a hippie skirt holding a bunny. “That’s Steph, my best.”
She continued to point to people. “That’s Sango and Miroku, her boyfriend. Over there’s Shippo. I pretty much raised him. He’s demon. This is Kouga. He’s very headstrong and likes to fancy mating me, even though he knows it’s not happening. This is the woman he’s courting, Ayame. They’re both wolf demons. I believe you know Kaugra and Hitten. He used to be a guard for you before he mated her. That’s Kilala and Kirara. Neko twins and quite annoying at times. That’s Rin. She’s sweet tempered and quiet. Kanna’s right there. She’s Kaugra’s sister. That’s their brother, Naraku. He’s kind of creepy but we all deal with it. Who else? Oh! Hojo, Yuri, Eri, and Azumi. They’re a great group, but a bit to immature and childish to hang with all the time. And that’s Yura. She’s a hair demon. I think that about does it,” she said pulling her hand away from the pictures.
“You’ve got quite a group of friends,” he admired.
“Well, when you’re my age, things like that can happen, you know?” she smiled up at the pictures. “They’re all family in their own way.”
He nodded before sitting down on the bed. “And what did the pups say?” he asked.
“They’ve got names, you know,” she replied, rolling her eyes. “It’s Kyo and Kanade. And they said they’d grant you your wish, but the first time you screw up, you’re gone. They won’t want anything to do with you,” she answered sitting next to him.
He nodded. “Understood. I believe I will go home for the night then.”
She watched him stand up before deciding on what to do. “How about you stay here tonight? That way you’ll be closer to them. It’ll make it easier for you to get to know them and what not,” she offered.
He nodded and she quickly stood up and led him to an empty room that he could stay in.
“Breakfast is at eight if you want it. Kyo and Inu Yasha are up at five to work out and train if you want to join them. Otherwise you’re welcome to join Kanade and myself in meditation. Good night.”
With that, she turned around and left, closing the door behind her.
Kagome lit and incense while Kanade set in a soothing CD. They settled down on two fluffy pillows to begin when the door opened, revealing Sesshoumaru. Kanade nodded in his direction as Kagome began to even her breathing and began to clear her mind, going through the last day’s events.
Kanade soon followed her mother as Sesshoumaru sat down on a spare pillow to watch them before he began as well. He studied Kanade first, noticing her complete lack of authority while her whole body screamed to obey her in a non-threatening way. As he studied her, he realized she was beautiful. Her blue eyes, now hidden behind her eyelids, complemented her silver hair, making her look like some kind of goddess. She seemed quite relaxed and happy around her mother.
He turned his attention to Kagome. She hadn’t changed much. Her hair was longer, reaching beneath her ass. She seemed fuller then he remembered, but he couldn’t really tell. She seemed happier then last time. She was relaxed and mature, smarter then before. Wiser too.
He smirked to himself before settling down to even his breathing.
“MOM! Yasha’s been cheating again! He’s been pulling my hair during practice,” Kyo yelled, walking into the kitchen. Kanade rolled her eyes at her brother.
“Shish! Grow up. I don’t even whine anymore.”
Kyo glared at her and pulled the glass of orange juice out of her hand.
“Hey! That’s mine!” she whined, trying to get it out of his hands.
“He’s not the only one that whines. Give her back her drink and sit down. And Inu Yasha, don’t make me tell Kikyou again. Straighten up your act and fight like a man, not a woman,” Kagome scolded while setting plates down in front of everyone. “Breakfast is ready and you’re all going to act your age at my table.”
They all mumbled a ‘yes ma’am’ before taking their seats around the island while she served them their food. Sesshoumaru watched on in amusement and thanked Kagome for the eggs and bacon she placed on his plate. He watched as she sat down at the table and everyone became louder and more rambunctious then before.
“Shut up! He’s a friend, not a potential Mate!” Kanade cried.
“So he’s sitting there telling me you can’t jump over the damn…”
“Watch your mouth at my table, young man,” Kagome scolded.
“Shut up! I don’t want to hear about you kissing people,” Inu Yasha yelled.
Breakfast continued on this way as Sesshoumaru tried to catch everything being said. Kanade as the first to finish her food and leave the table.
“I got to go to work. I won’t be home for supper. Kirara and Kilala want me to go to the clubs with them tonight. I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said kissing Kagome on the cheek.
“Alright darling. Have fun and don’t drink to much. See you in the morning,” she replied.
Kyo waved bye while stuffing his face with toast and Inu Yasha ‘feh’d’ at her.
As soon as Kanade left, Inu Yasha had gotten up. “Hitten wanted me to do inventory today so I have to go now, or else I’ll be late. Kikyou should be here for dinner. I’ll be back too. Bye!” he called walking out of the kitchen.
Kyo looked up. “I’ll do dishes. I work bar shift tonight so I’m free. We’re looking at places today, right mom?” he asked.
She nodded. “Yeah. I just have to call the office and make sure nobodies fucking anything up. Then we can take off and look at them. But you both have to agree. Sesshoumaru, would like to join us?” she asked, turning to the quiet demon.
“What are you looking for?” he asked.
“Kanade and I are getting out own Club for our birthday. Mom said so, but we have to pick out our own place this week. Our birthday’s this weekend after all. So, do you want to help?” he asked.
Sesshoumaru nodded. “Indeed.”
Kagome rolled her eyes at this. “Alright mister, get the dishes done. I’ll go make my phone call and be back down in a few minutes.”
The all met up in the living room as soon as they finished taking care of their business.
“So, I talked to the agent a few days ago. He said that we could look whenever. So, let’s go,” Kagome said, wrapping an arm around her son’s neck as they walked out of the house, Sesshoumaru following behind them to Kagome’s BMW GTO. He nodded in approval in her taste for cars, granted it was American, but that didn’t matter. Good taste was just that. Good taste.
They all climbed in, Kyo taking the back so his father could take the front. Kagome climbed behind the wheel and started up the car, music blaring from the speakers. Sesshoumaru covered his ears and glared at her.
“Turn down that infernal noise!” he growled over the music. Kyo laughed as Kagome turned it down a bit.
“I guess dad’s not used to loud music.”
Kagome laughed as well. “He’s an old-timer, honey. None of the old-timers like today’s loud and fast pace lifestyle.”
Sesshoumaru glared at her before looking at his son. He had called him dad. Something shifted in his chest at the realization. He took note of it and decided tat a call to the doctors about it was in order. He noticed his sons’ relaxed state even with the loud music and his happy demure around him.
Without warning, the car bolted out of the driveway and onto the street, easily beating the speed limit by 40 or 50, she wasn’t sure which. She easily passed other cars and cut through alley ways, narrowly missing cats and dogs, stopping suddenly for children and adults alike before speeding off again. Sesshoumaru gripped his seat while Kyo hollered in the back seat, urging her to go faster.
An evil grin spread across her face as they reached downtown.
“Ok mom. They’re up by five. We need to kick their asses. All you have to do is…” Kyo coached in the backseat.
“All you have to do is buckle up and shut up mister. I know the score. They’re up by one. You’re losing terribly and your sister, well, she might as well be dead to the game. So shut your mouth because I’m a one woman team!”
With that, she stepped down on the petal, going at least 20 more then before as she weaved through the traffic. Sesshoumaru’s claws dug into her seats as Kyo whined behind him about unfair games.
“Stop clawing my seats Sesshoumaru. I just had them re-appulstered. That damn brother of yours decided to fuck Kikyou in my car. Why they couldn’t use their own is beyond me. Stupid fuck refuses to pay for it,” she scowled while dodging a truck form the on coming lane and pulling into an alley ay, killing the engine. “We’re here.”
“Mom, I never ever want to hear about what Uncle Yasha and Aunt Kikyou are doing anywhere, ever, again,” Kyo shuddered.
“Well then, you’ll be glad to know they’ve gone at it in your room, on your bed, at least five times in your shower and the toilet. Oh yeah, that time they borrowed your motorcycle, and then your ‘sweet baby cherry.’ Where else?”
By this time Kyo was pretending to throw up while crying out curses and objections.
Kagome just smiled. “Got ya! They didn’t do any of that. Except your bed. I know for a fact they did that one. I yelled at them and then bought you a new bed. Thank god you were in England that week,” she finished off.
Kyo stared after her in shock as Kagome turned around and began to walk toward the door in the alley way. Sesshoumaru smirked as he followed after her. Kyo quickly caught up to him.
“You think she’s kidding?” he asked.
He glanced at the demon out of the corner of his eye. “Hn,” was his only response.
At that, Kyo ran to a garbage can and threw up behind it. Kagome sighed as Sesshoumaru restrained from rolling his eyes. They waited for him to finish before going into the building.
Kyo stared in wonder. “What was this place? A fucking Mafia hang out?” he asked.
“Better. A Yakuza hang out. They enjoyed the fine art of the medieval time periods, hence the ceiling and the Gothic architecture,” a chubby, balding man answered.
The ceiling was covered in angels, beautiful women and handsome men, all basically made with scraps of cloth covering the men’s sexes, feasting and frolicking in gardens and forests. Stained glass windows lined the ceiling on one wall, the colorful light dancing on the ground as people walked on the streets above them. They had walked down stairs and a thin hallway, leading to the grand entrance to the beauty of the place. Gothic arches held the ceiling up, breaking up the ceiling and sending pillars onto the floor, also breaking up the floor into sections. Against the back wall, the could see a balcony.
Kyo headed toward it. He climbed the stairs, faintly noting the luxurious red carpet that covered them and found himself looking into a fully furnished area. Dark wood was the theme along with the gothic style furniture. Intricate weaves headed the chairs as the tables were thick and heavy looking. Red velvet covered the seats. He looked back down at the group, who were discussing menial things about the place.
“Yo! Why’s there furniture up here? I figured a Yakuza would clear everything out,” he called down.
The short man nodded. “Normally yes. This one was a bit more generous and decided to give the next owner the best of his collection. Something about if people are going to appreciate this place and the art, then they might as well enjoy the furniture too. Pretty nice, if you ask me,” the old man answered.
“Yeah it is. So mom. This can be the V.I.P. Where you’re all standing is the dance floor. I’ll have tables all over but mainly against the walls. Gothic style to go with everything else. The bar can go against the wall with the windows. We can hire bouncers and everything.”
Kagome rolled her eyes. “You have to OK it with your sister. Myouga says we can look at the other places too. Do you want to do that?”
He leaned over the railing. “I’ve been sending her pictures as soon as we walked in. She said don’t bother looking at anything else because if I don’t get you to sigh for this then I’m dead. Like she could kill me,” he huffed.
“Alright Myouga. You heard the boy. We’re buying it,” she smiled at the old flea demon who kept glancing wearily at Sesshoumaru.
“Of course, Kagome-sama! I’ve got all the papers right here. Follow me please.”
