Hi all! I've noticed that some of you list a Romance category for every pairing that is mentioned in a story. Please keep in mind that the romance categories are for actual romances with interaction between the characters. Mentioning in passing that a couple is together does not qualify it for that category. Please try to place your stories in the appropriate categories rather than seeing how many categories you can place it in.
Also, please only list the main characters in your stories. Do not list every single character that has a single speaking line or is mentioned by someone else. Pick the primary characters to show in the story profile. If the character does not have a major part, they shouldn't be listed.

OK, this has been bothering me. Isn't the "General" category for fics that don't fall into ANY of the other categories? It seems that a lot of people throw "General" in their fics when they also have their story in several other categories...

If the story is put in that category and we happen to find it, then we as mods can put it in the right categories. We also need to email the author to inform them of the change and why. I do have an option in the admin to only allow one category to be chosen. Sometimes I contemplate using that.
