Actually, he's been both. To truly be her lover, though, he needs to apologize for his hair pulling, chaining, humiliating, and slapping. Otherwise it will merely be the captor enjoying the spoils of the captive. I can understand her attraction to him and her body's reaction but for me the brutalness would stay in the back of my mind and make me to not completely trust him. That he would merely use me for awhile and eventually discard me.
Even though I knew there were several chapters to read when I discovered this story tonight, I still reviewed each chapter for the fun of it.

Mmmm...why not both? Or rather, a sum of the two? Make him a brutal lover, Just a friendly suggestion, as I am enjoying this so much, I'm sure I'll love it which ever form its characters take!
