Well the mayor was smart in getting the bartender to water down his drinks. I'm just waiting for Inuyasha to go to the bartender himself. I'm sure he could scare the bartender into giving him the non-watered down whiskey. Anyways, good chapter.

Good. I would like to ask, just how does the bartender know when it is Inuyasha ordering. Does the waiter tell him. Why doesn't Inuyasha get someone else to order his liquor for him.
Author's Response: Hm. Those are good questions. Let's just say that the one gala he was allowed to drink at became so infamous that EVERYONE knows not to get him any liquor. Besides, if someone managed to sneak him a drink, Sango or Miroku would be able to tell easily enough and snatch it away. Poor guy is just screwed no matter what he tries. ^__^

InuYasha and his stubborn ways! You gotta hand to the man...I wonder what part 2 has in store for us at the Gala? ;) Can't wait for the next update! Why don't you keep updating IK Eternal? I get a lot of good feedback, so it probably give some to you too! :)

Heh heh... Part 2 will be interesting, I think. I hope.
*sigh* As for IK Eternal... Several factors went into that one. Let's see... It took me at least two tries to upload every chapter, and each try took about a half an hour (I am not really computer-savvy, but even with the Admin's help, I still couldn't get the formatting right). When I finally did upload them, I hardly got any hits, and only recieved two reviews, even after it being posted for a while. That, on top of the fact that the vast majority of stories on there are smut, which I am not a crazy fan of, I decided to stop giving myself a headache and just stop posting. And it has saved me from many a headache. ^__^

I can't wait for part two. It seems that Inuyasha can never get a break. It's a bit of a shame that he feels so guilty and so forlorn over what happened that he can't realize what he did that everyone is so appreicative of.
Author's Response: You gotta feel bad for him. I mean, for the rest of the city, Peace Day is the day that Naraku was defeated, but for Inu-Yasha, it is the day he killed his fiance. How do you blame him for hating it, right?
