Yeah, they definitely can be. I was picked on until high school. Then it calmed down, though I was never well liked. But at least they left me alone. Kids can be incredibly cruel, but it all depends on how you deal with it! :) You can't just stand there and take it, but you can't go crazy either. And then you have to make sure you don't take what they say seriously. Some people have a hard time doing that. :)

its a sad story i hope they both see that though the act was bad the outcome is wonderful Inu has finally made his decision and is showing his feelings to her and accepting hers like the deaths of their parent it was a terrible thing and heart wrenching but is part of what makes them the people they are
Author's Response: Yes, it's a very sad story. Hopefully things will improve for them eh? :) Things will definitely be emotional in this story. I wasn't too thrilled with how short I made the prequel and wanted to expand more on their feelings and emotions. I wanted to explore that more in depth. :) The incident seems to have matured Inuyasha somewhat. Though I suppose something like this happening would change anyone. But the whole situation has caused him to show his feelings for her more freely. Too bad it took such an act to knock some sense into that thick skull of his. That's men for ya! :)
