A very good start. I am very thrilled to see this take on an AU type InuYasha. :)

Once again, I did enjoy it. I know I say it all the time, but I love this story and can't wait for your next chapter.

Yay Inuyasha is going through withdrawl and while it's definately not plesent I still say good for him. Also I hope Miroku is right about Kagome helping Inuyasha. Another great chapter and I can't wait for the next one, keep up the good work.

Yay happy times for everyone now if only Kagome could get Inuyasha to stop smoking :)

Author's Response:

Ha!  Happy times are long in coming, my friend.  This was merely a lighter moment. ^__^

Thanks for the review!

Kagome really was the mastermind behind it, wasn't she? Anyways, as usual, great chapter. Also, as usual, I can't wait for the next one!

Author's Response:

Kagome's the clever little nurse, hm?  You know it's a good sign when she already knows Inu-Yasha well enough to trick him like she did. ^__^

Thanks for the review!

Great! Love how you brought Kagome into this! Seeing how InuYasha forgives Miroku and Sango thiings are looking better! :) I do have one quesiton, you keep calling InuYasha a 'demon' is he half or full? Hope you update soon! :)

Author's Response:

Well, I'm very happy to hear you're enjoying this.  And to answer your question, he is a half-demon, I just use demon because it is easier on the flow, in my opinion.    But I see how it would be confusing.  However, there will be many references to him being a 'half-breed', so I hope it doesn't become an issue.

 Thanks for the review!

Another great chapter! It was really well laid out. I can't wait for your next chapter.

Okay I'm still emensly enjoying watching Miroku and Sango still squirm. Also I love the way you introduced Kagome to Inuyasha and we all know that she's not going to ‘Just get him back on his feet and you’ll have done your job.’ because that's not her nature. I can't wait for the next chapter, keep up the good work.

And Kagome has made herself known! Ha! Anyways, I can't wait to read your next chapter. I really enjoyed this chapter and this story.

I love the way you introduced Kagome. Also I think that you maybe finally managed to make Miroku and Sango squirm in enough guilt, at least for me, but if I were Inuyasha I would definately make them squirm longer before forgiving them. I can't wait for your next chapter, this is one of my favorite stories.

Very well written...Miroku and Sango had it coming. Hope the next update comes soon! Can't wait for the "surprise"! ;)

Author's Response: They did indeed have it coming.  Well, this is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.  Anyway, not to worry, the next update should be quick in coming!  Thanks for the review! ^_^

I love the story so far and I can't wait for your next update.

Author's Response: So glad you're enjoying GH!  You shouldn't have to wait too long for updates--they should be daily, for a little while, at least. ^_^  Thanks for the review!

I'm seriously enjoying watching Sango and Miroku squirm. Another great chapter I can't wait to see what else you have planned for them.

Author's Response:

Wow, you really don't like them.  I prefer to see them as 'misguided', not as the 'bad guys'.  But, if you like watching them squirm, then you definitely will enjoy some later chapters. ^__^  Thanks for the review!

I LOVED this chapter.  You have a way with words, and a very unique 'voice' in your writing.  I'm really enjoying this, man...and I hope it doesn't become one of those fics that never gets finished, because this is worth seeing to the end.

Also, this chapter title is the same as one of mine in 'Of Love and War'. lol.  I thought that was neat.

Ten.

Author's Response:

Well, I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed it!  And thank you for the compliment--I strive to make my writing slightly different than others, so that was very nice to read.  Not to worry, this story is absolutely going to be finished.  I've put to much into writing it to just stop in the middle. ^__^

Oh, and I went and read 'Of Love and War'.  It's kinda creepin' me out, but I'm intrigued...

 Thanks for the review!

I'm not feeling too much sympathy for Miroku and Sango right about now. While I hope Inuyasha doesn't kill them I do hope he yells at them untill they realize just what big assholes they were.

Author's Response:

Ah, if you're already not liking them now, then you're really not going to like them later.  But not to worry, they will get their chance at redemption!  However, you should enjoy the next chapter, if you're hoping Inu-Yasha will yell at them...

Thanks for the review!

I like this, it's definately a new twist and you managed to get rid of Kikyo and Naraku before the story even really takes off which I think is a good thing.  I can't wait to read more and to see how you have Miroku and Sango try to get Inuyasha out of his funk.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for the compliment--an author always loves to hear that they've done something new to stories that have been told countless times before. ^__^  Stay tuned, another chapter should be coming up shortly.  Thanks for the review!

I got only one word to say...wow. I'm very impressed, and can not wait for the next update! I wonder what that miracle is...? ;)

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you like it!  Not to worry, the next update should be quick in coming, seeing as how it is already written. ^__^  And, while you may already know what that miracle is, I'm afraid to say it won't arrive until chapter 4.  I hope you can hold out until then!

 Thanks for the review!

This is off to a great start!  I really like it, and I intend to keep up with its progress.  However, you asked for contructive criticism, so here it goes:  I think the bit about Inuyasha's past with Kikyo could have been longer and more detailed...instead of briefly summerized, especially if it is important to the story.

Other than that, its great!  Wonderful job on your first AU fic, you're off to a great start!

Author's Response:

Goodness, I never expected to get a review so quickly!  This is quite nice.  Hopefully, you won't be disappointed with how the story plays out.  I'm very glad you have such faith in it.  And thank you for the criticism, as I always like the opportunity to improve my work.  I do understand what you mean about it being rather short, and I would like to eventually go back and edit the earlier chapters.  However, I am past the half way point in writing it out, and am focusing more on that than edits.  Perhaps, once it is finished I can go back.  Still, Inu-Yasha's past will be more fully explained as the story progresses.

Thanks very much for the review!
