There's a lot of appeal to the inu brothers being together. I like this and the other fanfic you wrote based on the same duo. I do, as Nile does have a special fetish for a threesome between the inus and Kagome.
Kagome does seem off character. I would've thought Sango a bit more for the role than Kagome for being against Sess and InuYasha being together.
I like how this is written more from Rin's opinion because in this instance, it really does matter what she thinks about the whole matter.
Good write!
Author's Response:
Hi, sorry for taking so long to reply; school's been taking over my head and I forgot about this. ^^; Many apologies...
I'm very much a Kagome hater (though, I've made a vow to -not- bash her character), and that threesome makes absolutely no sense to me; Sesshomaru's not one to share, and the same can be said for Inuyasha (look at how he treats Kouga). So I don't consider the threesome at all. I suppose there is a way for it to happen, but it's completely lost on me.
I've attempted to improve on this (alas, it was created when I was still getting into ICness), so hopefully both Sesshomaru and Kagome are more in character now. If you want and should you have the time, could you read it again and let me know how I went?
Rin's forever fascinating me; she's untouched by the evils in the world. Or perhaps it's better to say that her heart's pure; her parents being killed couldn't count as being good. I like how pure and innocent she is, and I agree, her opinion matters a lot on the matter. Sesshomaru's denial just makes it all so much better though. *giggles* She doesn't even realise why he does it.
Thank you for reviewing, I appreciate it. ^_^ And again, I apologise for the late reply.

I do not think Kagome should be dipped in anything. Frankly, it is a taboo, but it is a matter of opinion.
Kagome should try to respect the decision and she can voice her opinion, but constantly doing it is rude. On the other hand, what should have been included was Inu Yasha explaining himself to Kagome.
I hope to see something in words to Kagome's acceptance. It is highly odd for Kagome not to be an accepting person considering that she is from (using real timeline and when the anime was originally created), a 21st century girl who knows about this thing goes on. It is nothing new to her. It is a bit OOC for Kagome.
Otherwise, I like the plot. Truthfully, I like even more a I/K/S plot. There was a story I read once on AdultFFnet and it was superb on the relationship between all three.
Author's Response:
Sorry for the late reply; I forgot that I hadn't.
I wasn't specifically talking about this fic when I commented on Kagome being dipped in acid. I don't like her in general. She seems completely useless, annoying and childish to me. *shrug* But then, it's a matter of opinion.
I know she was OOC (I was working towards my complete obsession with IC stuff, like I am now), so I redid this. Is she more to your liking now? I can't see her as being absolutely supporting (we're all selfish, she's no different), so she's still in quite a bitter/sad state. And what's nothing new to her? The fact that they're gay or the incest?
You know... Hearing that you like I/K/S even more than this plot, is like a backhanded compliment. It sort of hurts. Sort of. And you already know of my standing with the aforementioned threesome. Glad you like the plot though.
Thank you for reviewing, I appreciate it. Hopefully Kagome's slightly more IC now.

Author's Response:
Thank you. ^_^ I felt the same way when I was first introduced to the pairing. But after a week of contemplating I found that I see them as more like strangers or aquantinces than brothers. There's just something between them that stops them from being considered family (Perhaps it's the half-breed thing? Sesshomaru's so stubborn about it).
Thanks again! I appreciate you taking the time to review. ^_^

I actually enjoyed it although i see no plausibility in it happening. But it was very sweet and refreshing, and extra special as you're right, it's through Rin's untarnished young eyes.
the warning had me curious to see how this could happen, or even work. But it was so sweet that I just didn't care that it could never happen :)
Thanks so much for sharing this. Takes courage to drift this far from the mainstream pairings.
Author's Response:
Ah well... What can you do? I see the Inu/Sess pairing being more plausible than any straight pairings that include either one of these two. Maybe not during or right after the series, but someday. Mortals die afterall. I think Sesshomaru would get bored with having everyone following his orders, whilst Inuyasha would find Sesshomaru to be a nifty challenge to beat. *shrug* It may not be plausible considering all humans and current love-interests are alive, but, a girl can dream. ^_^
Thank you. All I was really aiming for in this one-shot was to show off Rin as a character (alas, she is often over looked, or killed) and as a child wihtout having been spoon fed the beliefs of the world. I may have gotten that, considering you think this is 'sweet' and it makes me very happy to hear it.
I really don't know about the courage part (I was determined to post Inucest after I saw that there wasn't any, so any fright or nerves I may have felt flew out the window) but you responded kindly and maturely, so it makes all this worth my while. Even if people don't like the pairing or don't see it as plausible, I like to know when I write something worth reading. So, thank you muchly. ^_^
