No it ain't. You're forgetting about the fact that it says right there on the website that this CD was not written by Rumiko takahashi. On your lj you said it was "storyboarded" by her...but whoever told you that is a liar, because "storyboarding" is for stuff that gets animated, drama CDs do not get "storyboarded" in the first place. What icedgirljenni meant by "it wasn't directed by Takahashi"...was that she didn't have ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT PERIOD. The only thing Rumiko Takahashi did for that CD is that hse gave them permission to put "Inuyasha" in wideban format and gave them copies of the manucript of the final chapter that came along with the CD. She had zero control over what actually went in the CD or anything else. Therefore, the CD is not canon.

What is canon is the Inuyasha one-shot bonus chapter that was drawn by takahashi, and in that one even though Rin has been in the village for a long time, Sesshomaru merely continues to protect her and there isn't any hint of anything romantic STILL.

I like to make Rin as 'sassy' as she is in the anime/manga... she is SO not 'weak' or 'pathetic'. (I HATE to see pathetic!Rin in fics!)
I think Rin is a strong girl, and even though she loves Sesshomaru-sama, I don't think she's the way a lot of other people write her...
