It is terrible for InuYasha to have put Kikyo up to the challenge. Strange how Kikyo got through the paperwork. A lot of clearance paperwork goes into admitting an Olympic contender.
Author's Response: Yeah, I realized that it would actually be difficult for Kikyo to get into the Olympics, but when it comes to a series where people can time-travel through a well, I figured I could take a few liberties to make the story more interesting. She'd also have to get drug-tested, but no one wants to read about Kikyo doing that!
