Author's Chapter Notes:

Just a fan. I don't make money from this stuff.

Rin smiled, looking up into the sky. The day was warm and quite breezy, enough to make Jaken grumble. She loved days like these. Sometimes the wind caught the field flowers and snatched the petals. She couldn't mourn for the flowers that were mauled because the fragrance that came with the flowers in the wind always made her grin.

Sometimes the petals would brush by her face, such a soft and light touch that she couldn't help but think that it felt like an angel's touch.

"Maybe its my mother," she mumbled.

She did miss her human family. She brushed the sad memories away and took up the petal on her arm. It was white like her lord's hair.

"I wonder if I could touch his hair. It always looks so soft," she said in as soft voice.

"If you must touch it, then do as you please," Lord Sesshoumaru said.

Rin blushed and giggled.

As she ran a hand through his hair she said in awe, "As I thought, soft as the flower petals."

"Hn," the stoic lord replied, his head tipped up arrogantly, but Rin could tell by the look in his eye that he was amused.
