It's just a fun little one-shot, SessKag, songfic.

The song is "Out The Window" by Ashley Gearing.

Here's the song:

Her mama and her daddy and her uncle and her brother
Had her whole life planned
They had no clue
What she was about to do

She met that boy in the corduroy pants at the record store
Moppin' up the floor
Looking so cute and bored
She waited in her bedroom
For the sign of his headlights
Busted down the screen and said goodbye
To her old life

And her parents dreams went out the window
With a short blue dress and a jewelry box
She left a note sayin', " I'll call you tomorrow,
I love you both," and she was gone
She was gone, out the window

Coffee and chicken and biscuits on the interstate
I guess beauty school is gonna have to wait
Stealin' sideways kisses and singin' songs
Crossin' county lines drivin' all night long
He opened up her hand and gave her a bubblegum ring
Said I know that this ain't much but will you
Please marry me

And a big bouquet went out the window
Like her brown hair blowin' in the wind
In the passenger's seat of his blue Camaro
She could see a sweeter life
A new sunrise out the window

Five years later they were happy ever after
Makin babies
Doin' dishes in the kitchen watchin'
Her kids playin'

And all her dreams were right there out the window
Pigtails and overalls makin' mud pies
And she's tryin' to feed 'em to her little brother
What a crazy life, there's her beautiful life
Right out the window

Yeah, her mama and her daddy and her uncle and her brother
Had her whole life planned
They had no clue
What she was about to do

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kagome put her book down. This was not fair. Her life wasn't fair. Her parents had never let her go on a date. The two times that she had snuck out, her older brother had followed her and told their parents. Souta was twenty-one, and Kagome was seventeen, so that gave him a good bit of power in her life. And her uncle, Hyntun, he was worse than Souta.

She felt so trapped. It wasn't right, that she had this life. Everything was planned, and calculated. Her family knew every move she made, and she had about as much freedom as a cage-bird. But that's just it. Even if you lock a bird away from the sky, they never stop singing.

Her mama and her daddy and her uncle and her brother
Had her whole life planned
They had no clue
What she was about to do

"I'm goin' to the record store," she said as she ran out the door. She heard her mother protest in the background, but pretended that she didn't. She reached one of the only places she liked, and was allowed to be. It was the record store. She looked around for anything new, but what she saw wasn't what she had been looking for. There was a guy with long silver hair tied back in a braid mopping the floor. He was obviously a demon, but they were normal here. This was the Middle Land--America. He looked bored and was sooo cute. But cute wasn't good enough. He was gorgious. Claws, silver hair, demon markings, and a super-model body-build. She wondered what he could be doing in this tiny town.

She was just going to leave before she could embaress herself, but tripped. She landed flat on her back. When she opened her eyes, she saw two golden ones looking down at her.

"You okay?" he asked as he helped her up.

"Yeah. Nothin' hurt but my pride," she said as she dusted off her legs. "Thank you."

"Sure. You like that?" he asked, looking down at the record in her hand. And that led into a long conversation, ending with a date the next night. Amazingly, she didn't get caught. Or the next one. They dated for a good year in pure secret.

"Kagome. I'm tired of this," he said one night.

"I know, Sesshomaru. I am too," she said, leaning into his chest as they looked out at the water. "But what can I do?"

"Run away with me," he held her chin in his hand, looking into her eyes.

"Where?" she asked.

"Anywhere. Let's go to Las Vegas, get married. we can make our own lives. I have enough money for some good land, and a small house. It could be enough. If we were together," he said.

"When?" she asked.

"Next weekend. After your graduation," he said.

"But you have a life here. I don't. I can run away from my cage without looking back, but what about you? Can you leave your family?" she asked sadly.

"I want my own family," he said firmly.

"I love you, Sesshomaru," she whispered as their faces drew closer.

"I love you, too," he said as he closed the last gap.

It was a two weeks later. Kagome put a jewelry box in a small bag. It had all her money in it, along with several other items. She had on her favorite, navy blue dress. This was all she was taking with her. She took a piece of paper and wrote a short note, leaving it on her bed. She looked out the window to see headlights blink three times. She busted the screen off the window and climbed out. And she was gone.

She waited in her bedroom
For the sign of his headlights
Busted down the screen and said goodbye
To her old life

And her parents dreams went out the window
With a short blue dress and a jewelry box
She left a note sayin', " I'll call you tomorrow,
I love you both," and she was gone
She was gone, out the window

"This is the craziest thing I've ver done," she laughed as she hopped into the seat beside him.

"And the smartest! This is our new life," he said as they drove off into the night. They sang and laughed and they both knew that everything woulturn out right."Kagome. It isn't much, but would you marry me?" he asked, giving her a bubblegum ring.

"Yes!!" she threw her arms around him and kissed him, making him swerve on the empty road. And that was the biggest part of their new begining.

Coffee and chicken and biscuits on the interstate
I guess beauty school is gonna have to wait
Stealin' sideways kisses and singin' songs
Crossin' county lines drivin' all night long

Like her black hair blowin' in the wind

Five years later, she was in the kitchen of the home he had promised her. She watched her babies from the window over the sink. Rin was only five, but she had her mother's spirit. And Kagome promised herself that she would never put her kids in the cage she had lived in. Rin wore overalls and played in the mud, with Shippo, her little brother. He was only two, but too smart. He was so much like his dad, it could be scary.

Five years later they were happy ever after
Makin babies
Doin' dishes in the kitchen watchin'
Her kids playin'

And all her dreams were right there out the window
Pigtails and overalls makin' mud pies
And she's tryin' to feed 'em to her little brother
What a crazy life, there's her beautiful life
Right out the window

She hadn't spoken to her parents since the phone call the day after she ran. And she didn't want to. This was her home, her love, her family. And she would never go back. Ever.

Yeah, her mama and her daddy and her uncle and her brother
Had her whole life planned
They had no clue
What she was about to do
