I love it! Can't wait til Sesshoumaru shows up. One good thing about AU fics is that you can take quite a few liberties with the characters. Different environment, different life, different person. Of course not entirely different, our souls do not change, who we are as a person does not change, but our out look and our actions do... At least that's how I look at it...

I agree. I want so badly to write Sesshoumaru, but it's going to be a while before we really get to see him. Makes me want to make the poutpout face!
To be honest, I've never really liked AU fics, but now I can see why so many people write them. It's just so much fun! There's no need to limit the characters to the information that's been given in the original sseries. While I do hope to keep them relatively in character, it's nice to think that I can adapt the characters to the environment I've so ruthlessly thrust them into.
