Romance, sadness, drama, excitement...it's all here, in this alternate ending to the Inuyasha manga. 

This takes place after the end of the manga…sort of. The thing is, I didn’t much care for the end of the manga. It wasn’t he ending I had hoped it would be. So, as I writer and an Inuyasha fan, I have decided to take matters into my own hands. This is my own alternate ending. It begins immediately after Naraku is defeated.  

The actual ending of the manga wasn't what I thought it should be.  It was lacking in emotion, completeness, and too many words were left unsaid.  Not to mention too many things left undone.  This alternative ending hopes to do for me, and others, what the original did not.

No one is ever safe...not from him. He will grab hold of even the most powerful and force them to do his bidding. Such is the way of the one known only as The Purple Lord Of Darkness.

When the Silver Spring gives Kagome the gift of sight, she uses it to help people, and prizes its value. Feeling more useful then she ever has with Inuyasha and her friends, she easily forgets the most important rule that comes along with her tainted gift: If she uses the gift, even once, for a personal gain, she risks losing the most important thing she has. And magic doesn't measure value the way she might think. After forseeing the thing she feared most coming to pass, can she stop herself and figure out what is most important before its lost for good? There is trouble ahead, and her future is uncertain.

 This fic is cannon, meant to be read as an alternate direction for the story.

Inuyasha wants to spend the night of the new moon with Kagome, who has returned to her own era. When he gets there he finds a magazine that tells him that Kagome should leave him. What will Inuyasha do to prove his love is eternal?

The well goes haywire and takes Kagome back to an alternative feudal era. What will happen when she means a usually human Inuyasha who is dating Kikyo and doesn't know her? Will she ever find her way back to her Inuyasha?
