And no there was no sexual training, you're just making that up. YOU don't know shit. Read the Tale Of Genji. He makes her physically receptive to him, as in holding and stuff, but there's no sexual training. That's why you can't cite your sources or give any evidence that there was sexual training, because there wasn't.

And that CD had nothing to do with Takahashi and doesn't count as a part of canon.

(And he even mentions the Kimono gifts!) 2) Would you argue that the band of seven isn't canon?  No, because the band of seven appear in the manga and were created by Takahashi.If the studio puts it out, RT has to approve of it and sign off on it.  The filler eps weren't written by her either. Incorrect. RT has no control over what the studio puts out, as evidenced by the fact that many things that happen in filler episodes contradict the things that happen in the manga. JK Rowling said so herself that she had no control over what went in the Harry Potter movies so why would Takahashi be any different. Is Ayame not canon? She isn't in the manga at all.  No one argues about them or when people write Kouga/Ayame. Correct. Ayame is not canon. And the people who write Koga/Ayame don't say that it's a canon pairing.In fact, RT herself didn't even have Inu and Kags kiss at the end of the manga, the studio added that into the anime, because they felt fans wouldn't be satisfied without it.. RT also didn't show Inu and Kags getting married, or even kissing... and in fact, Kagome is still wearing Miko robes at the end... Which you are only allowed to wear if you are a VIRGIN GIRL.  So... are they really married, even though they didn't show it  and she's in priestess robes fit only for virgin girls?  Most people wouldn't argue they aren't married, and they are basing that only on some lame excuse as to where his sister went used by Shouta (her little brother) to a friend.Yes. Everything that you're mentioning is not canon since it was not written by RT. And the miko robe  probably has more to do with RT not knowing that you have to be a virgin to wear it rather than them not being married. It was stated in the manga that they are engaged, which leads to marriage.

No it ain't. You're forgetting about the fact that it says right there on the website that this CD was not written by Rumiko takahashi. On your lj you said it was "storyboarded" by her...but whoever told you that is a liar, because "storyboarding" is for stuff that gets animated, drama CDs do not get "storyboarded" in the first place. What icedgirljenni meant by "it wasn't directed by Takahashi"...was that she didn't have ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT PERIOD. The only thing Rumiko Takahashi did for that CD is that hse gave them permission to put "Inuyasha" in wideban format and gave them copies of the manucript of the final chapter that came along with the CD. She had zero control over what actually went in the CD or anything else. Therefore, the CD is not canon.

What is canon is the Inuyasha one-shot bonus chapter that was drawn by takahashi, and in that one even though Rin has been in the village for a long time, Sesshomaru merely continues to protect her and there isn't any hint of anything romantic STILL.

But you forgot about the fact that the ban that Takahashi was protesting defined "lolicon" as being "sexually provocative, visual depictions of characters who sound or appear to be younger than 18 years old".

Under THAT ban, Inuyasha would've counted as a lolicon manga because Kagome was shown naked while she was 15 and Sango was shown naked while she was 16.

Rumiko Takahashi was probably protesting that ban because she didn't want her own manga, "Inuyasha", to be banned for having a character that's under 18 shown naked.

That doesn't say ANYTHING about whether she'd be supportive of a grown man being sexually involved with an 8 year old.

As a matter of fact she isn't supportive of it. Go read the Miroku/Koharu incident in manga chapter 146, page 8.

When the characters all found out that Miroku had proposed to an eleven year old girl to bear his child, they are SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED AND REVOLTED and the situation was portrayed as being something that was PERVERTED. That shows you quite a lot about how Takahashi, the person who wrote that scene, feels about this kind of thing.

Sango: Miroku, you would say that even to a CHILD?!

Kagome: Miroku, take responsibility for your actions! (I know girls married younger back then but, she's even younger than ME!)

Kagura is DEAD.  And yes, he WAS willing to let her drown in the river until Rin jumped in trying to save her.  They did not ever officially hook up in the canon, and now she's DEAD, and he is proposing MARRIAGE to Rin.

Get out of my reveiws you wank-baiter.  Learn to speak Japanese, order the wideban volumes of IY, and listen to the Drama CD.  THERE IS ZERO QUESTION NOW OF RT'S INTENTIONS, AND SESSHOUMARU'S *ROMANTIC* FEELINGS FOR RIN.
